And I wonder why we are light years behind our rivals in the East. Welcome to the Rangers fan base. This myopic obsession with what's happened in the past is why we never move forward. We literally never see the bigger picture. I don't give a flying f**k what happened 10 years ago. Is he good enough for the job? That's what matters.5 points

I don’t mind hiring the best gun in town even if he shot us up when someone else was paying him. But not if the toe of his left boot is scuffed.3 points

A good month for Hutchesons' Grammar School for Boys'. It would appear Rangers are about to appoint a former pupil, Andrew McKinlay as our next Chief Executive. Another former pupil, Humza Yousaf was asked by BBC Scotland what he would be doing if he was not First Minister for Scotland? Humza replied, "probably Chairman of Sellik". Well, since Humza is no longer FM, I take it he is Chair at ra Stade de Gadd?2 points

Well if we're judging him on his performance at Hearts they've generated record breaking revenue under him and are now Europa league regulars. If he gets us into the UCL semi regularly and cracks 100m in revenue during his stint then I'll be honest, I'll absolve him of any past misdemeanours. I get the reticence but if he's the best CEO in the country, and that could be argued, then who are we to say no? I appreciate the anger though of course.2 points

Thats not that bad actually, i thought he would be out until the new year. He'll now be back earlier than expect to pick up another injury..2 points

Nothing like a League Cup tie against a Craig Levein team in a half empty dump of a stadium to get the juices flowing...2 points

He was lawyer and moved into Sports about 10 years back. Has worked in football and golf and has a good reputation by all accounts. I've heard that it's between him and the guy at Aberdeen who was also a CEO at Motherwell. Is it Burrows? The left field option I have heard been mentioned was the lady at Nordsejaelland Trine Moller. Apparently she's a big player in the Right to Dream set up that Diamonde came from.2 points

I could accuse you of many things, but positive is not one of them.....2 points

Do you know of any rich blokes who a) want to invest in Rangers or b) know about football? 'Sack the board' cries aren't going to lead us anywhere but into administration.2 points

Yes mate the idea was to replace them though, think the club got half a message2 points

How low do we have to go?????? Brandon Williams - jeezo...... Id rather keep Tav that says it all!1 point

I don't think Williams has been injured - he's just not been included in the team, which is probably a worse sign.1 point

Don't let him and Tom Lawrence car share then1 point

Correct me if I’m wrong but Brandon Williams hasn’t played a single game this year due to injury1 point

To be fair, I'm sure it was to do with the settlement agreement that was distributed not reflecting the agreement that was reached by both parties. But with us, you just never know!1 point

New signings don't all have to tick all 3 of those boxes, as long as they're cheap. 🙂1 point

Comparing the possible hiring of one idiotic Yahoo with a questionable online history with a guy who was part of a wider organisation that made a decision we did not favour is silly. I doubt McKinlay was the judge, jury and executioner back in 2012.1 point

The manager should use a false nine, double pivot, inverted wingbacks and a sweeper keeper.1 point

Jefte is really poor at defending. He needs to work on that part of his game. Fraser should be given the LB slot tomorrow.1 point

Don't be ridiculous. That's a rather silly comparison.1 point

Things need to improve fast before the fans turn on him and his team maybe he could try a different formation for a few games to see if that might help1 point

Maybe if the board employed people with experience and competence required to run a football club, all our life's (including theirs) would be a whole lot easier.1 point

I 100% agree with that! I urge we give the youngsters a chance, especially in the dying minutes of a game when the majority of the players are burning out Young Fraser is one of them with energy in abundance especially with what I have seen of him lately and is always willing to do anything for Rangers.1 point

Once Ridvan’s Rangers contract started his career was effectively over.1 point

Like I said regarding Dessers, BTW. That said, it just looked like after chasing the ball at full tilt, he twisted his leg somewhat. Has happened to many chaps, even at the EC recently. Dunno if Jefte will be banned for the Europa League (different competition), but we should give Fraser a few minutes.1 point
