I would like us to (re)sign Gregor Stevens. Now I know Gregor must be pushing 68-69, he was a couple of years ahead of me at Fir Park Boys Club during the mid seventies. He was a tough tackling, ball winning, no nonsense Centre half who when time allowed, got his head up and played passes. Gregor was never far away from red mist syndrome, even in training. This effecting his timing and to compensate he utilised both feet, studs up in his frequent red mist tackles. Gregor hit you, you stayed tackled for about a month. The reason I think Gregor would be a worthy signing is that Scottish Referees are okay with players exhibiting red mist syndrome and, fellow professionals queue up to parrot, "he's NOT that type of player". I witnessed Ryan Porteous being red carded on three separate occasions in games against Rangers, three less than he deserved. Fellow professionals and pundits(particularly at BBC Scotland) chorussed, "he's NOT that type of player". As long as Gregor is not awarded a Scottish international cap and the red mist strikes. I note Callum McGregor has exonerated Ryan's challenge against Germany, "what else could he do"? I think the time has arrived for Gregor and his particular red mistism. We are more tolerant of all folks these days, especially if you have an 'ism'. Give Gregor the gig.4 points

I've always said the former Yugoslav countries are the best place to look for prospects. The Italian clubs tend to keep a keen eye on goings on in Serbia, so a lot of them end up in Serie A. Doesn't mean we can't have a look there though. Prso, Jelavic and Papac didn't do too badly.2 points

Jim Steele's Rangers career was truly unique. During season 1975-76, he arrived from FA Cup winners, Southampton for a month's loan. He played five games and was cautioned in each and every match. At the end of the season, several months after the conclusion of his loan period; he was the recipient of more RSC POTY winners trophies than the rest of the team put together. The Ibrox trophy room should display a chainsaw with a plaque dedicated to Jim Steele's tenacious tenacity.2 points

I’d like to see us stick to Europe players. one player we’ve missed is Erik Botheim who were linked with in the past. Hes now doing well at Malmö.1 point

And both would cower at the shadow of Harry Davis - Hurlock with a haircut, some extra inches and a bit harder. Rarely dirty, though. Didn’t have to be.1 point

Yip exactly this. Not being funny but when I used to play football manager I would occasionally see the odd name that I would recognise. Since I stopped playing it probably around 20/21 I am now like 'who' every time we even get linked with players1 point

I don't really expect much else until we bring some cash in on player sales.1 point

I just don't think Foden's kicked his arse for England mate. Gordon seems full of confidence so I'll let him slip.1 point

I assume he's a expecting the climate change to impact Scotland sooner rather than later, as he sure is used to more warmer climates than Scotland. Was about to ask about any official news on Diomande, but his loan deal runs till June 30th, so we'll have to wait for that.1 point

@der Berliner is the only one left with a 100% Correct Result record! @Yorkie Bear has a 85% CR hit-rate, but has not found a CS yet so lies in 10th. He has his JOKER in play tonight, though, as Austria play France. I have the most Correct Scores (2), but I've picked fewer CRs which has cost me. I still have my JOKER in play this evening in the Belgium-Slovakia match.1 point

Nah, probably not. Not because we aren't good enough, but because I've never been impressed by Southgate. For me I'd put Gallagher in for Alexander Arnold and Gordon in for Foden. And then pray Luke Shaw gets fit for the last game and KO's if we make it.1 point

It’s easy to blame Clarke but we don’t have any players who are good enough to play at this level at onetime a Scottish team consisted of star players mostly with top English clubs mixed with the best Scottish talent the best I can say for last night’s team is a bunch of rather poor journeymen.1 point
