  1. For the lads who go to the match on a Saturday and who went to Germany to actually watch the football hoping to see their team win, my commiserations. For the party clowns, the middle-aged toddlers and the politicals most especially the buffoon Robertson, ha, ha, ha.

  2. Ah, I note the multiple usage of one of my favourite terms, 'foot soldier in the Tartan Army' being utilised this week. Does the Tartan Army only field infantry, does it have any cavalry? If they do, another term you hardly hear these days; would they be, 'Beggars on horseback'?

  3. The only players that matter are the ones who are here and want to be here. The ones we went after who chose another option don't matter. I do like the profile of the players we have been linked with though, younger hungry guys with room to grow. Younger players tend to demand lower wages generally so are a more cost efficient option and have less risk around them as they tend to keep value better if you need to move them on if it hasnt worked out.

  5. When getting humped by Germany, sing a song about fighting the English a few centuries ago. Glorious failure etc. I don't miss supporting Scotland.

  15. Steve Clarks Scotland lads. Launching it for the first five minutes whilst throwing elbows and celebrating conceding throw ins. He's basically a Caledonian Sean Dyche. And that's being harsh on Dyche. Blood, Snot and Beers.

  21. It's the same company who set up the Man Utd v Lyon match last Summer. Police Scotland and the City Of Edinburgh Council will have been consulted. There might be a couple of scraps but nothing major.

  22. I have just received the information that "for the time being, there will be no public sale for the Rangers game". It is possible to buy tickets for the Real Sociedad game, there the public sale starts in June 17th. I assume they expect a few thousand Rangers Fans on top of what Rangers get and don't want them flooding the Union stands. "For the time being ... "

  23. Never mentioned anything about players moving to the EPL mate, I don't care where they go when they leave us. As long as we make enough cash to buy the next one and they have a pocket full of medals when they leave is good enough for me. I've said before my opinion on the player trading model isn't trying to win the lottery with a team full of Calvin Bassey's, but bringing in guys like Sakala for very little on modest wages and then moving them on for a small profit a few season later is much more realistic and effective. My point on the profile is more on the wages side. No matter how good or bad a player Clinton N'siala turns out to be for us he will still be much better value for money than Ben Davies. We just need to shop smarter which is what I think(hope) we are doing. Celtic are moving on that Korean dud Oh I think he is called for a profit, considering he looks like total dugmeat that's good business. But again look at the profile of the guy, a small transfer fee and modest wages for a young player from South Korea, it doesn't work out and he moves on for a profit.

  24. We need to win things too though and not just be a conveyor belt for players to get to the EPL.

  25. I'd have Germany, Portugal and France all ahead of England as favourites. Something has to give eventually with this generation of England players considering how the younger age groups for England have been winning tournaments regularly for the last decade. Although I will admit, this crop are far more likeable than the 'Golden Generation' I grew up with. Controversial opinion...if Southgate goes after this tournament I'd bring in Poch. Argie or not, he has a great track record of developing English talent and implements a good style. There is the question over his propensity to dodge trophies albeit.

  26. Being negative all the time is hard work. I'm putting some faith in Clement and Koppen, whilst not getting hung up about every Tweet. Clement has commented on several occasions about our ridiculous injury problems, so I'm sure he'll be doing his best to rectify the situation.

  27. You'll be watching it, like the rest of us 😂 Pity Hickey and Dykes are injured. Important players for the system Clarke plays. Ralston isn't a patch on Hickey.
