Probably Sterling missing due to severe dizziness from confusion of where to play?😈4 points

Not to sound like captain obvious but we also need to install a 'No Dickhead Policy', for want of a better term, when scouting potential targets. Thorough background and character references - players who show up well in a dressing room and against adversity. Players who want to be the best they can be rather than coming to collect a big signing on fee and paycheck. We've had some pull out of playing because they aren't 100% imo. That's not on. Maybe I'm shouting at the clouds though - I'm just fed up of seeing a team full of 'crocks' and chancers.3 points

In terms of the current list I would hope it's a case of resting a few players (e.g. Sterling, Balogun, Souttar) with next weekend's Cup final as our priority but the club simply must find out the root cause of all these injuries and remedy it immediately.3 points

There are many possibilities, just like picking your own favourite serial killer. I think Matondo goes under the radar. never seems to be fit for more than 3 games.2 points

This season Jack - a personal favourite of mine - has been the worst. Usually it's Roofe.2 points

I don't disagree with the retained list but I just can't see how we shift Tav and Goldson outwith Saudi money. Both have 2 years left (criminal), legs have completely gone and have a really poor recent CV (post Seville). Although I am encouraged by the links we've had in the market in recent weeks. Qerfeld, Cordoba and Mofokeng are all players in markets we should be looking at at the right age profile too. Clement today saying we need to replace the experience that will be leaving is a nonsense though, the average age of the starting XI next season needs to come down by about 4 or 5 years compared to this - if that means it takes a couple of seasons to hit a groove and gel then so be it. And don't give me the pish that you don't win with youngsters either - Arsenal have a young team atm and are pushing City to the last day...but guess what? They'll get better and better. If there's Bosmans out there like Alzate or Ben Johnson to be done then by all means do it - but I want the actual transfer fee's spent on youth, athleticism and potential. Sellable assets basically. Hopefully this post makes sense.2 points

People need to realise that isn’t the managers fault. Signing players with previous injury records has to stop. These players were signed by previous managers & DoF’s SAF used to always say before you sign a player….check his attendance record.2 points

I believe the orange top is an invitation by the club to join the dots, make a picture and, win a major prize.2 points

Given the scale of injuries we now have, we really are down to the bare bones in terms of selection. We still have an XI capable of winning but this side doesn't scream character or physicality so Dundee will be keen to get stuck in tomorrow not. I, erm, can't wait... Regarding injuries, this has gone beyond an issue to joke about now. Yes, the manager has suggested they know the reason for our continual injuries but the sheer number of these muscle problems in almost every week of the season is something the board of the club have to explain.2 points

Well, Beale not being in charge of recruitment will mean an upgrade on last Summer's efforts. We need to recruit better across the football side of things - it's that simple. I think it will take 2-3 windows to sort the squad out. There's a lot of dross needs cleared out and that's the biggest immediate issue.2 points

That is unfortunately the current outlook. The board always said that the investment would be front loaded and that resulted in us getting 55 and Seville. There's little to no further investment on the horizon as far as I can see. We now need to be self-sustaining and that's going to be limiting. We had a chance this season and we did remarkably well to win our Europa group and claw back the deficit, but it just fell away from us at the end, for whatever reason...partly overperforming and partly injuries (and other reasons). Not winning the league this season allows them to invest bigger and it's going to be more difficult to overtake them. I'm not sure that there are further investors out there who will be willing to invest significant sums in a club in Scotland, so we need to manage our resources better and hope for a bit of luck but we're still suffering from the legacy of being sent down the leagues and it will take some clever handling by the management team to claw it back overt the next few years.2 points

I don't think it's all doom and gloom. We're making progress behind the scenes. The commercial side is improving. I much prefer our footballing structure to theirs. They're in a false position after 10 years of easy CL money, not because they're well-run per se; they've had it easy. We've got our recruitment wrong in the last few windows and haven't sold when values were high - mainly because we didn't have a DoF with more control and left it to a manager. The Beale appointment was a mistake, too. We should have won the league this year, despite poor recruitment, letting them have a head start after Beale's poor start, and a squad decimated by injuries. We've got a good opportunity this summer with a lot of high-wage players out of contract.2 points

Anyone who rates Ridvan should be automatically disqualified from the position of DoF.....1 point

Final straw for both in my humble opinion 😉 Maybe Ridvan is our Darran Anderton Edit - I know there are a few candidates for that dubious honour 😀1 point

His latest injury was really frustrating. We were told that he was 50/50 of making the OF game at Ibrox, then we were told he was a week away. He still hasn't started a game since his injury. So either the injury was not diagnosed correctly or the medical updates given to PC from the medical team were incorrect (or worse, both). I picked up a comment from PC last week where he said the medical team tell him how many minutes a player can play, he then decides if that player starts, or comes on. Is he receiving erroneous information?1 point

But we qualified top of our group in the EL - so his exclusion was justified? 😉1 point

Interestingly, the majority of our fans will direct their ire a those who are constantly available rather than those who aren't. Weird.1 point

I think that is the most damning stat I've seen so far.....1 point

Clement is the 3rd manager now who has had to endure injuries we haven't seen since the 90's. He cant be accountable for this IMO so expecting him to fix it is not realistic.1 point

It doesn't need to be explained: it needs to be fixed.1 point

We seem to go round and round in circles with this stuff. There won't be any major investment, there's no Mr Moneybags coming to save us and we're stuck in Scotland for the foreseeable. We just need to work better with what we've got.1 point

Autumn of last year, I read an article in a Sunday broadsheet highlighting the Foundation of Hearts were handing over another cheque to the club. The presentation brought the total handed over to £4 million in a period of eight years. Rangers supporters have precedence for similar action, the Rangers Supporters Association purchased the old Albion Training Ground area on behalf of the club. Monies raised a decade past to fund then upcoming legal actions were thankfully not needed and, the several hundred thousand pounds left over were handed to the club to pay the cost of constructing a stand at Auchenhowie. The club are embarking on necessary refurbishment at the Stadium to at last comfortably and safely accommodate fellow supporters with mobility issues. It is a two year project which will raise the capacity by a 1,000 seats. The cost will come from monies raised by normal means, ie season ticket sales, sponsorship, hospitality, merchandise sales, ................. etc. This will detract from the various budgets dedicated to improving the club's playing and coaching staff. If the Foundation of Hearts can raise such funds, I believe a proper organised similar scheme with similar aims officially connected to Rangers could dwarf the Jambo contributions. Do we have a coterie of Bean Counters prepared to utilise their abaci?1 point

We currently have a higher playing staff wage bill than other mob fc. Investment is pointless if you piss it away. Also how do you get big investment and stay ffp compliant? Just do better with what we have, it may seem impossible but stranger things have happened.1 point

We should almost certainly be taking a punt on young SPL players with a deal to keep them at their club for game time. We need much more of a long term view, one problem since coming back up is that we have had such a short term view to try and stop ten in a row. None of the strikers we signed last summer are good enough in my view. Crazy how much we spent on players to end up in a same or worse position than we were in before. It's been the major problem of our season. Dessers has a decent goal tally when looking at the figures, but watching him and knowing how many chances he has spurned paints a different picture. Not good enough to rely on as our main striker, but potentially useful as a squad player. Clements signings have been a mixed bag too, I am not convinced by Diomande however he still has time to develop into a useful player, 4.5 million of a player though? I'm not sure. Cortes looked quality in the brief time we saw him, but many players initially shine and then settle into mediocrity. He could still go either way but he is the most exciting signing of recent times for me. Silva is dump, I cannot believe his price tag. Jesus. For me, it's time to say goodbye to Tav, Goldson and Lundstrum, and whoever else I may be missing that have been at the club too long. Great players in terms of their skills, but a broken mentality. Souttar isn't good enough in my view, he has a major mistake in him every game. Yilmaz is injured too often to rely on. I'd keep Sima but he isn't ours. I mean, we are really in a shockingly poor state. Clement is going to have to perform miracles in the transfer market to turn this around.1 point

Rodgers could've predicted how we'd play weeks in advance. We're a very predictable side.1 point
