I really believe that this "Kent didn't try" is a myth perpetuated by the internet. You'll always find some fans who have an irrational dislike for a player and some of the hyperbole is unbecoming of a player who gave us a lot over the years.

Thought Ridvan started really well, but fell out of the game after he picked up that knock. Been a decent 1st half.

We were okay, nothing to write home about. Ridvan and Butland (shock) the standouts for me. If Raskin can dial in his passing he'll be a fine player.

Silva looks like he can link up well but doesn’t seem to get in many definitive goal scoring positions

I think you are right about that. This will ensure that it is discussed, at length, for a very long time.

Could be a genuine offer, but, to me, more likely 'saving face' and preparing from him to leave with the line "Well we offered him the best we could, he decided he wanted to move on"

I’d say he’s stopped the decline steadied the ship and is doing a decent job with what looks like no money of any amount with what to buy a decent player looking like we will need to see how much we can sell some of the present squad for to raise some money for future signings.

All about opinions, but the constant Ridvan bashing is rather strange, given that he is more skilled and forward minded than Borna, always brings a new spark into his side's attack. His height is barely important. On the other hand, no word must be uttered about our dear captain Tavernier, who drags himself out of so many mediocre performances with the odd cross or penalty goal.
