Went to the museum on Saturday, along with my Dad and my two sons. All of us thought it was excellent. I'd my doubts as to the viability of a museum but I now think I was wrong, it's a great addition to our club and well worth the time and relatively small expense required to visit. I booked it in advance and there weren't many spaces available for Saturday when I was booking, so be aware of that. There's a real mix of exhibits and information. My eldest, who is leaving to study architecture in the summer, was taken with the Archibald Leach made model of the Main Stand and the information around that. Strangely, something that really struck me was Colin Jackson's contract. A player I remember watching and a man I met in later life professionally. Highly recommend a visit.7 points

Where does Oor Frankie find the time? Truly an East Lothian renaissance man. Tour Guide to be added to unicyclist, juggler, sword swallower, fire eater, plate spinner, eater of the boiled ham raw, gigolo and, goalkeeper.6 points

You know you're getting old when your footballing hero's contract is housed in a museum...6 points

I'm led to believe the Doig swap story is genuine; same with the Connor Barron pre-contract.4 points

Me too, I was around when Silva signed.3 points

I'll never forget seeing him at the 1970 World Cup I think when he played with one arm strapped up and waltzed through an entire defence.2 points

I'm old enough to remember the days when you could sign players at any time of the season ... AND in the summer too! 😎2 points

Aye, agreed. I took my father in law as a wee xmas present just after new year, stadium tour first, then the museum, absolutely superb value and the aul fella loved it. Tour guide was excellent, Billy was his name but I never caught his surname, sure I recognised him from somewhere. Can't recommend it enough.2 points

I think I confused myself with double ju-ju there. Pity the Board doesn’t have a resident witch doctor to advise on protocols. Best match of the round. Arsenal had five scoring opportunities in the first ten minutes and plenty more throughout the match but could do nothing. Martinelli came on and was unstoppable for five minutes then seemed t lose his touch completely. In the last quarter hour Liverpool brought on two primary schoolboys. They played like Bobby Moore and Franz Beckenbauer. Wednesday beat Cardiff City. Two questions. How did Wednesday manage to score four goals? How did Cardiff not score about six minimum from umpteen chances including two saved penalties? The Tyne/Wear Derby was a sensational spectacle of noise, fanaticism, hatred and colour, then the football started and it wasn’t so good after that.2 points

Both would be very welcome in my opinion.2 points

And Angelo Domenghini. It was 1965. I’ve still got the ticket. Roger Hynd was terrific that night. Thought I’d seen the new George Young. I was wrong.1 point

The word iconic is overused these days but Beckenbauer certainly fits the bill and he won't be forgotten.1 point

We booked in advance, and it was busy on Saturday. I imagine there are days it's busier and days it's quieter, worth checking that before you head off though.1 point

My son booked my wife and me on the stadium and museum tour just before Christmas. Both of us really enjoyed although my wife a little more than me especially when signing Simply The Best coming down the tunnel. 😁1 point

Gelhardt's a wonderful player; strong, quick, good dribbler and his build-up play - in the right system (Bielsa) - is superb. He is not a goalscorer, but can play anywhere across the front-three and #10. An option to buy would be superb. He has the potential to go for a lot of money down the line. A straight loan? Nope. We shouldn't be developing players for other teams.1 point

I'm old enough to remember when a transfer would be done and dusted in a couple of days nowadays with agents and contact talks not to mention all the other things to fanny about with it takes ages1 point

It’s such a shame we are lacking goal scorers wanting to come to Rangers gone the day we could easily cough up £6-£8 million, especially now we are in Europe mostly every season hopefully with Jack Todd and Sterling we can attract few players from down south if not this season then definitely next who aren’t getting any playing Time.1 point

right winger mostly but can cover lb1 point

Video of him slowly stretching his leg in a contraption doing the rounds, we'll be lucky if he's half the player he was pre injury.1 point

£6m right now when we can get him on a pre contract would fucking blow my mind. I'm all for getting players in early but at the right price. 6m for 6 months left is howling recruitment.1 point

VAR, VAR, on the wall, Who's the fairest of them all? Is it the ref, or is it me? I'm confused, I cannot see. The ball went in, or so I thought, But VAR says it was offside, caught. I'm left to wonder, what's the truth? Did VAR make the right call, or was it uncouth? The fans are angry, the players too, They're all shouting, "What did you do?" VAR just shrugs, and says with a grin, "I'm just a machine, I can't commit a sin." So there you have it, VAR's decision, It's final, there's no revision. We'll just have to accept the call, And hope that next time, we won't fall. our next song if we can remember it (Verse 1) VAR, VAR, what's the score? I can't keep up anymore. The ref's on the pitch, but he's not in charge, It's the machine that's living large. (Chorus) VAR, VAR, it's a mystery, It's changing the game, can't you see? It's making us laugh, it's making us cry, It's the star of the show, oh my! (Verse 2) The ball goes in, the crowd goes wild, But wait, the ref's not sure, he's feeling mild. He checks the screen, he takes his time, And then he makes the call, it's sublime. (Chorus) VAR, VAR, it's a mystery, It's changing the game, can't you see? It's making us laugh, it's making us cry, It's the star of the show, oh my! (Bridge) Some say it's fair, some say it's not, But we can all agree, it's a robot. It's got no heart, it's got no soul, But it's making the decisions, that's the goal. (Chorus) VAR, VAR, it's a mystery, It's changing the game, can't you see? It's making us laugh, it's making us cry, It's the star of the show, oh my!1 point

Good point. I keep hearing about this guy Millione at Vitesse. What is his position exactly? Is he a left back - or a left winger? On your CB point, I think Josh Doig is also capable of slotting in at left CB too.1 point
