You might have added that Union-Fans hold a x-mas singing every year. It started a few years back with some fans sneaking into the stadium and having some fun on the pitch, but was warmly greated by club and fans alike, turning nowadays into an event of 30odd thousand, which was streamed live yesterday on local TV (much to the "delight" of the Hertha-fans, no doubt) ...7 points

Really? So you OK with other fans signing about Walter, Jimmy Bell and The Goalie? We have / had so many great players and managers we can sing about, yet chose to sing about Bobby Sands and Tommy Burns. And we claim they are "obsessed "6 points

Mention to our away support again today, absolutely tremendous buy can we cut out the Tommy Burns sh1t?5 points

Allen hier ein Frohes Fest! A thousand stars erect a dome in quiet earth-embracing night. A candle blooms and spreads its shine and fills our hearts with great delight. In this silence we rejoice, a light that pierces through our hearts, the high cathedral silvery swings, quietly wafted by the breath of Christmas. All the darkness falls away for we have lit this light of ours. Into next year it leads our way, through these silent, starlit hours.4 points

I do wish some of our fans would stop having a go at young McCausland the young man should be encouraged I’m sure our manager sees his potential as he works with him nearly every day I’m for one who loves it when we play the youngsters I may be harsh on some of our established players but never a young lad .3 points

Balogun an easy pick for me but impressive performances by Cantwell, Dowell, & Sterling. Good to have a few to pick from.2 points

What about the other so-called Motherwell penalty claim involving Yilmaz when the guy clearly dived? He was already on a yellow IIRC2 points
-
My take from that is the Motherwell are a dirty team and the ref let them away with it for the entire first half. I can't for the life of me see why VAR and the linesman thought Dessers second "goal" was offside. We all thought it was on. There were a few very good performances today and I didn't feel we were troubled much at all despite their second half possession. Good solid performance with the game won in the first 15 minutes. As an aside, Kenny Miller needs to get another job.2 points

I thought he was very poor again today, especially in first half. Continually gave the ball away. He did improve 2nd half, but we really need a new left back.2 points
-
All things considered, that's a good win today. Both teams understandably struggled with the conditions but those early goals gave us the cushion to perhaps play within ourselves in the 2nd half with our defence excellent. The momentum continues. Merry Christmas to all!2 points

Aye his touch is usually a lot better than it was today - he's usually the tidiest of the front 3. I think the last few weeks have caught up with him tbh - he's probably knackered.2 points

The new book on Carloway Football Club contains a chapter on the late Ronnie Mackinnon which covers his time with Carloway, Rangers and Scotland. In a recent interview for the book, the Rangers legend talked about his time at Ibrox including the story of how he got signed by Scott Symon shortly after playing for Carloway in the Lewis and Harris Football League. Ronnie had some good tales to tell including yarns about Greig, Baxter, Puskas and Pele as well as about the time he spent in his mother's hometown of Carloway. The book ‘Ninety Years On: The Story of Carloway Football Club 1933 to 2023’ is available for £25 (including post and packaging) from the following link: https://buy.stripe.com/fZeeXfgZdgm5dna0011 point

Strange weekend Newcastle getting beat I’m sure Davie Moyes will take some personal satisfaction from beating united the Toffees were unlucky against Spurs and the Pensioners getting beaten again1 point

I think most of us realised your mistake but were much to polite to mention it 😂1 point

I thought about Balogun ("too slow and over the hill") and Dowell "(he'll never make it at Rangers") but it's Cantwell for me this time for being pretty much the only naturally creative player on the park.1 point

Can someone please explain the offside law to Dessers? Can someone please take Lammers away in January? Decent result, albeit the second half was a slog. We really need to be more clinical and learn to keep the ball better.1 point

Get another early in the second and take off Tav and Cantwell pronto Phil. Please.1 point

This has been pleasant! Dowell and Cantwell running the midfield so far, especially Todd. McCausland came onto a game in the last 15 mins of the first half I thought as well. Keep the zero and add to it Rangers!1 point

Just about to leave for the match. We must keep the momentum going and get the 3 points today. Not sure who is fit to play but Well are not in great form so hopefully we score early and see it out.1 point

Strange appointment - would have been better sticking with Mowbray1 point

From "rubbish, not befitting the jersey, punt him in January" to MOTM. Step foward Cyriel "Lazarus" Dessers. And if he scores a hatrick on 30/12, far from being raised from the dead by the Messiah, he will become the Messiah.1 point

Good to see he's got these journo's in check. And that he has a sense of humour, you need it with the pressure that comes at Ibrox - look at what the job did to Gerrard before and after he came here.1 point
