Which is exactly what the stats said. I remember quoting the stats on here pre-season and they showed that neither Dessers or Danilo were that good in front of goal, and Lammers was horrendous, but the best by far was Sima. And so it has turned out. I think Danilo certainly has shown more than Dessers and Lammers though.3 points

I think the players should try that more often, in training. The poor trapping, slack passing and all round sloppiness is alarming, to say the least. It's a football, not a f*cking warthog.2 points

I'm glad there are other Bears as sensible as me. The lad is average, at best.2 points

Rewatching the goal and can't underestimate the quality of control, drive and pass from Tav.2 points

Jeezo we love to make things difficult for ourselves. We should have won that 4-5 nil. PS Shankland in January? Nawwwww! Not good enough for us. Never has been and never will be2 points

He should be nowhere near the first team squad. I can't stand the sight of him.2 points

Lundstram outstanding once again, McCausland very good but fell out the game near the end, Cantwell played well as did Cifuentes.2 points
-
Happy with the win. A bit concerned about how sloppy we are in midfield and up front. Lundstram played well again.2 points

I'm gutted by our 3 striker signings, they are all proving to be mediocre at best. A huge waste. I like Danilo as a person, he tries, but I'm unconvinced by him as a player.2 points

What a goal - one end of pitch to the other - what a ball from Tav.2 points

I find myself agreeing more and more with you after a sticky start. Hearts fans love a moan and they cant stand Naismith but everything tonight was cheating Rangers and Collum. They were lucky they werent hammered1 point

BTW how was that shirt pull on Balogun not a yellow? They seemed to be tugging away at us all over the park.1 point
-
Yeah they both had a decent game. Goldson seems to hate Hearts as much as me always plays well against them1 point

Real comedy Lammers moment there when he puts a crap header nowhere then starts shouting at McCausland for not running 60 yards to chase it down 😂😂1 point

Agreed but still think if he sped up a notch he could be useful.1 point

Aye, he's looked far sharper than he did last Thursday (not that that's particularly difficult).1 point

WTF Danilo. Still not convinced by him at all. That chance has done nothing to..em...unconvince me.1 point

Are you not always banging on about our over inflated wage bill.? So on paper £60m beats £5m every time? I see PC is now a CL experienced multi trophy winning man of stature? Last week he was a clueless loser! Of course it's evenly matched. A tight pitch, good home crowd, a manager desperate to get one over on his old club, another game just 3 days on from last and don't forget, as you are always quick to tell us , ours is a team of bottlers and serial losers! Yes, it's all about opinions!1 point

I don't see us getting Godfrey, I'm sure he's been capped for England. I'd be delighted to move on Dessers, Lammers, Raskin, Yilmaz, Roofe, Barisic, Dowell, Matondo and Cifuentes. I'd look to bring in for the right price Shankland (1.5 million) Connor Barron (End of contract or discount deal), Left back. Miovski would be worth a look but Sheep wont sell to us for a decent price so I think Shankland is the better option for us.1 point

I wouldn't go getting your hopes up. Clement has said there won't be big changes. Combine that with our unsellables and tight finances and it's not going to happen.1 point

To pay to see the Rangers play is “being fleeced”?1 point
-
You are taking the piss with this aren't you? Do you not see this as Clement wanting a good opponent to work with the team during the winter break? Having a bounce match during the winter break isn't revolutionary like, even less so when you've got a new manager who's still assessing the squad. If I've bitten then fair play, if not and you're sincere than that's just baffling.1 point

We have tended to go through money faster than our ability to create it for a long time. Plugging the gap has long been the challenge. From bringing in investors, the infamous EBT's, to structured (financed by board members) losses. Short to medium term solutions that can create their own problems and never solve the problem. To be fair, the structured losses strategy post 2015 made sense and was financed by mainly very generous Bears.... But the problem was always going to be weaning ourselves off the need for extra cash. To bring in an effective and consistent player trading model is one thing but to do it when the club requires instant success is quite a different level of challenge. Especially when the potential cream tends to be taken before they are finished school. Looks a complicated financial panorama but at least we seem to have a real manager.1 point

Yeah, but that gets amortised over the period of their contracts and it's a different line in the accounts. It's comparing cashflow with profit.1 point
