Shows the kind of drivel tabloids come up with. No doubt Mowbray will take it on the chin.

You are taking the piss with this aren't you? Do you not see this as Clement wanting a good opponent to work with the team during the winter break? Having a bounce match during the winter break isn't revolutionary like, even less so when you've got a new manager who's still assessing the squad. I'm not sure about that. There were a few discussions on here about him and although a few of us didn't have him down as a definite starter, I'd say the majority felt he was of some use as a squad player.

I think we do need a serious clear out of those players who continue to let us down when it matters, but @Scott7 is correct, there are some decent players among them. As for Clement, surely it's unfair to judge him on the form of players who have let down a few managers now.
