I'm sure this will be a dog whistle to @CammyF but Sam Lammers is dog shit. He's plays like a fart in a colander. Although I'm not really arsed who came off between him, Cantwell and Cifuentes. This teams ability to shit the bed when there's something worth playing for never ceases to amaze eh.4 points

The correct decision is always to remove Lammers from any game at any time.4 points

When we saw the team Beale had chosen to start the League Cup final last season I remember thinking he simply doesn't know what he's doing. I think most of us did. Tonight when I saw the starting line up I had the .same sinking feeling. Now I'm no football expert and I assume Clement knows more about the game and his squad of players than I ever will but playing Lammers as a 10 and Cantwell as a winger is so perverse as to be beyond understanding. I have to say it's worrying.3 points

Absolute wank of the highest order. Terrible team selection from Clement and utter pish from the players, McAusland aside.3 points

Anyone who says that there "is a player in Lammers" is smoking too much weed. Cc3 points

The fans need to calm down. I know we have always been somewhat OTT with everything but we need to support the team and encourage them. This constant over reaction to any slight mistake is not helping players.3 points

Regardless of where Cantwell is playing he needs to do simple things IMO. He fast becoming a bit of an empty jersey. Too much dancing around.3 points

I am struggling a bit with Clement here. Fucks sake3 points

Everyone seemed quite content before Sunday. I don't think that draw should get us too downhearted. We were truly awful in Cyprus. That performance was on a par with the loss to Progres. We should really be humping these diddies tonight but due to our scoring inability, I expect it to be fairly close. An early goal would make a world of difference.3 points

That's the spirit, positivity, belief, support the team. 🤪3 points

There are eighteen days to go, Rangers face six games, three League, two Europa Cup and, the final itself. A most hectic and intense period. It struck me in the immediate wake of events at Pittodrie on Sunday last, the build up had already begun. Of course, the Dandies are frustrated, twice in the last several months they have snatched a draw and a defeat from the jaws of time added on victories. Other clubs are fortunate in that they are lionised in such circumstance due to a never stop attitude but, Rangers are accused of being the beneficiaries of vague nefarious influence. Our accusers had to be patient such were the numbers involved. Applying the levers to Pandora's Box were Barry Robson, Wullie Miller, Richard Gordon, Liam McLeod, Jonathon Sutherland, Michael Stewart, Chris Sutton, Peter Martin, Neil Lennon, Mark Wilson and, former Referees, Steve Conroy and Des Roache. All of the world's ills can be comfortably laid at the door of Rangers; particularly if you construe a shirt pull inside the box as being worthy of an equity card and, your mindset is Rangers deserved nothing. According to Michael Stewart time added on events should not apply to Rangers because, "just like the Hearts game, Rangers were never going to score until the Referee's decision". Or, if Rangers do not stop we will apply sufficient pressure to ensure Rangers are stopped. Rangers can help themselves. Firstly have a serious word with Todd Cantwell, he is a creative player with a penchant for finding space to throw himself to the ground unchallenged. The former Norwich player has a grievance, his yellow card rate is three times higher in Scotland. However, he has established a reputation for fresh air surfing and he must be told to refrain. Secondly, the club's historic adherence to dignified silence must be up for serious consideration. I understand not wanting to confront every crackpot with an agenda; however, achievement on the pitch should not be surrendered meekly in serial continuing aftermath. Barry Robson's post match line, "another stoppage time penalty to Rangers is not a good look for Scottish football" was a feed from Alan Burrows. The current Aberdeen Chief Executive has a ton of previous with Rangers. His behaviour at Motherwell made him most attractive to the Dandies. His first publicised decision was to reduce Rangers supporters ticket allocation whilst NOT doing similarly to Sellik supporters. He knows the value of gratuitous kicks at Rangers whereas similar behaviour towards the establishment club carries sanctions. What did Burrows say after his club's six goal thrashing at ra Stade de Gadd? He has plenty to say about our club and there is a whole list of the usual suspects waiting impatiently to deliver the lines. Whataboutery is not a good look but events do not occur in a vacuum, Sellik were awarded two penalties, allowed ten minutes time added on and, survived their left back stamping his studs down on to a 'Well player's shin. Did the levers find purchase? They were not even picked up, let alone shouldered. Compare and contrast with a Rangers player having his jersey pulled in the opposition box during injury time? A true benefit of being the establishment club is the deflection you can effect on another club that ironically, you claim is the establishment club. Phillipe Clement has his hands full, getting a tune out of an assembled grouping not of his choosing and concurrently dealing with fixture congestion whilst under constant off field heavy artillery. The five games between now and the cup final will come under forensic investigation, the levers are waiting and most willing. To see it any other way suggests you have already seen Michael Matheson's season ticket for Firhill?2 points

I'm gutted too, but getting on the managers back is daft. 80% of this squad are bang average at best. Yes Lammers is Gladys, but are Cantwell or Lawrence much better. Yes Sima is Gladys, but is Matondo much better. Yes Davies is Gladys, but is Balogun much better. I could go on, but I think you get my point. We are asking Clement to paint a masterpiece with a shitey stick imo. He told us to expect this.2 points
-
The problem with all our strikers is the service just isn't there. It means they continually have to go looking for the ball in deeper, wider areas so we have no-one in the box as a result, meaning we go backwards. Danilo is OK but another who's touch invariably lets him down at important moments. He should have put us through tonight.2 points
-
Controversial opinion incoming...Danilo is not half the player some fans think he is. He's extremely average IMO. Right. I said it.2 points
-
Lammers shouldn't have started for us a month ago. Lammers is so bad it almost seems like one of those prank shows. "Glasgow Rangers think they're getting Sam Lammers. However, we have replaced Sam with Dan, his twin brother, a pottery maker, and yoga instructor from Rotterdam...let's watch along"2 points

I thought we were signing a dynamic, mobile midfielder, capable of getting around the park and dominating opposition players. What we have is a disinterested passenger who takes 30mins to play himself into the tempo of a game and does next to nothing on the ball except move it side to side. Occasionally he looks quite good in tight situations but that's not what we need.2 points
-
Only positive from that 90mins is that we didn't lose. Lack of quality again stark right through the team with only one or two players achieving pass marks. Quite simply not good enough and manager equally unimpressive with his choices. Back to square one. Football really does come down the basics at times. Almost every player was giving the ball away, failing to control it, making bad decisions and taking no responsibility. Tactically it was a mess at times too and it's clear certain players just can't hack it. Two games played post-international break with two dreadful performances and results. Would like to hear an explanation of why we can't do the simplest of things.2 points
-
Was it possible? I mean, yes if we scored, but I don't recall us really testing the keeper. We continually tripped ourselves up before being able to get a shot away. Conference league here we come. May be for the best. We're just a shocking random bunch of players. I don't think they bottled it tonight, I just don't think they're capable.2 points

It'll go under the radar but Tom Lawrence has been stinking since coming on. This is horrendous.2 points

Btw Ben Davies was woeful at the goal. Dreadful. He’s lucky his teammates are so honking no one is talking about it.2 points

I'd bring Dessers on to play alongside Danilo - need someone who can hold the ball and a bit of physicality2 points

Lundstrum is the only player looking half decent! the rest ????????????????????????????2 points

FWIW, Cantwell had his leg heavily strapped (again) and seemed to hurt himself early doors which is why we seen MacLausland warming up from as early as the first 5mins.2 points

I think he can be accused of trying too hard and it isn't working. There are others that are constantly receding just enough to hide. They shouldn't even have started the game. I would rather see someone with passion try to play, than someone swanning about with fuck all mentally to give to rangers.2 points

Cifuentes had started the game with a mission. The mission is to make Lammers look good.2 points

Lammers........ In Homeric Greek, lameros, adj. (λαμέρος), means 'sometimes possessed of the power of he who makes thunderbolts', A word for everything these old guys, this time unfortunately qualified. Might frighten the Cypriots. We can hope.2 points

I'd start Cifuentes, Souttar and McCausland tonight... Butland Tav Souttar Davies Borna Lundstram Cifuentes McCausland Cantwell Sima Danilo Cifu probably our best performer v Aberdeen imo and the experiment with Cantwell on the right just isn't working so I'd move him into the centre, Lawrence is still early in his comeback from injury so I think Clement will rest him. I'd also like to see McCausland from the start in a game where there will be a lot of space and transitions. I still think Souttar has the highest ceiling of our defenders as well, but that's just me. We *SHOULD* win this and win it well imo, if we're capable of blitzing Sparta in the first half then I'm hoping for 4 goals tonight. C'mon lads2 points

I have attended the last two AGMs, both were hosted in the Clyde Auditorium(the Armadillo). The Clyde Auditorium's seated capacity is in excess of 2,000. Both AGMs were well attended, each had attendances of several hundred. I believe Edmiston House has a standing capacity of several hundred, seated will be considerably lower. Parking will also be a problem. I understand the club wanting to utilise the facility; however, both elderly and infirm Rangers supporters must be recognised and standing for in excess of an hour is unacceptable.2 points

Yes, but I think that a gloat, to be a proper gloat, has to come from a position of strength.2 points

Really looking forward to seeing a defensive partnership which is minus Goldson, as for me he is still the weakest link in our line-up. Although I'm hoping our central defenders have a fairly easy night, and we score early and book our place in the knock-out rounds with a comfortable win.2 points

Some of my favourite moments as a Rangers fan came in the late 80s and early 90s where often we'd come up against Aberdeen. Although their own hey-days of European finals were long gone, rarely did we steamroll them in finals or anywhere else despite having Gazza, Laudrup and other better players than we have now at our disposal. I'm all for realism and understand positivity rightly isn't for everyone but as much as some of your posts have merit, the stuff in bold tends to make me think you're at the lash. Continue with the unreasonable and unfounded negativity and your future here also leads just one way.2 points
