Butland may well be unhappy - after all, he has been watching the same dross and duddery as we have been, and we are significantly less than ecstatic. An early task for M. Clement may -will- be to ensure that Butland, having bought a ticket, stays for the ride. New driver, new destination.....7 points

I have often spoke my mind on this subject but I've gave up trying to convert the natives to basic English. I've went the extra mile but I've came to the conclusion there's no helping these poor people. They've wrote and they've spoke this way for so long that I've grew weary trying and failing. I have now fell into despond and I've took to ignoring it.5 points

You wouldn't need to be a brain surgeon to work out that Butland, and many others, wouldn't be happy. Michael Beale brought them to the club and then things turned extremely nasty. I have never, in 55 years of going to Ibrox, experienced such a toxic environment. I hope that the new boss can reassure him that the losers in front of him shape up or they are gone.2 points

Too formal. "Auf geht's!" would be the most direct version of "Let's go!"2 points

It has nothing to do with the difference between English or Scots (whatever that is). I see it now creeping into speech south of the border too. It's really just part of our poor education system and lazy speech.2 points

Some Rangers fans are really living in the past. We're in a diddy league and don't have squillions to spend. That's that.2 points

Good luck to him and Rangers, his CV is fine.2 points

Rooney wants to sign Butland. I want to shag Margot Robbie. Don't think either of us will get what we want.2 points

That's the thinking probably. I read years ago that the Bayern players really struggled with Peps coaching for the first few months tbf - not making the comparison between coaches but.1 point

I don't think we should get too precious about these things. Cantwell is clearly a bit of a heart-on-sleeve sort of bloke and the last thing anyone should do is stifle his natural exuberance.1 point

It probably does, if it's repeatable. You do see that quite often - not just from Ange.1 point

Our players have been so keen to pass it backwards and sideways and I think it might take some time to shake that out of them. With some, it might even be impossible.1 point

I saw Roofe posted an Instagram clips reel of himself at St Mirren last week. He hardly touched the ball! Footballers are a right bunch of fuds nowadays.1 point

Just watch Brighton play out from the back. They wait for the opponent to press, then A-B-C-D. It's pre-conceived passing routines. Conte has a few automatisms, too, but in a different way.1 point

I keep thinking that we'll win the LC, the squad will be rejuvenated after it and we'll really motor in the games up to and in the post split. Does anyone have any knowledge on automatisms? From what I can gather it's coaching within in-game scenarios in training - so with in and out of possession and in defensive and attacking transition so that on a matchday it becomes natural and without second thought. The definition of automatism when searched on my phone is "the performance of actions without conscious thought or intention." Looks like he's going to really drill into the players nature - pretty interesting. It's why I'm hoping we'll be firing on all cylinders after the winter break.1 point

We shouldn't underestimate the gap that Gerrard left either. He was a hero to the players; a leader capable of inspiring the dressing room and instilling team spirit. He always seemed able to get the players to give a bit extra.1 point

Tbf McCrorie has never let us down. Remember that clean sheet in an OF couple of seasons back?1 point

I hate the faux mixture of English and Scots. Either speak one or the other. I'm bi-lingual. The past participle in Scots is used differently but I hate this hybrid.1 point

I've felt for a long time that the dressing room suffers from a malign influence and suspect the removal of a couple of individuals could go a long way to solving the problem.1 point

The general atmosphere around the club has been pretty grim for months. Hopefully Mr Clement can change that and people will want to stick around.1 point
