Our attacking game plan only consists of getting the ball out wide and our fullbacks crossing it in even against ten men. It’s been years and years of this. Try something else maybe?6 points

I don't know why you've all come out of the wooodwork now saying it's boring: it's been like this since Beale took over!5 points

" Rangers met 4 candidates for a Director of Football position, but none felt like a good fit and Beale insisted on talking charge of signings " If true dereliction of duty by board.4 points

My xG tracking, if anyone's interested. Blue is our xG created, Red is xG against (our opponent's xG). It's fine pre-split of last season, then it narrows during the post-split games. Then this season starts poorly (outwith Servette and Livingston, which was with a man advantage and a late flurry of goals), then it's choppy AF. Ideally you want a bigger gap, so you've got the best chance of winning consistently. We've been too reliant on sneaking past teams, relying on superior players.4 points

We are a club stuck in the past. 2012. 55. Seville. Forget it all and think about now and how we move forward from here.3 points

Lovelace and McCausland brought some well needed youthful exuberance into the team today, and wee Raskin was much better. Big Butland coming for crosses is a joy to see and Sima bags another. That said, We never looked like we had the numerical advantage after the sending off.3 points

I think I have the solution to all Rangers’ problems. Gerraballuprrapark.3 points

That was a good result today but let’s not kid ourselves that was a dung performance against ten men for most of the game. We really toiled against them and had the penalty incident not happened how would we have broken the deadlock. Hopefully a new manager is en route asap and we are not waiting too long.3 points

Was just about to post the very same, our midfield hardly ever get beyond our strikers3 points

I much prefer Raskin in this #8 position, with a license to get forward. We just need a better #6 to find him and others...3 points

The young guys are bringing us some badly needed energy. This midfield just doesn't work. Tired of the snail like pace at the back and the predictable, useless cross balls upfront. Sima and Roofe both off it today. I would say we are showing more effort. Hope we can hang on for a win. I have a feeling if they score we will go to pieces. Come on get us a victory until we can get a new manager in place.3 points

Same old story , player impresses, player gets injured .3 points

See you after Santa's been Lovelace.3 points

He should, then, have said it was none of his business, which would have been politic, respectful, and true. That he chooses to blab his gob off, is instructive.3 points

So am I the only one looking forward to the game today? See, there's that hope coming along to kill me again......3 points

55 and Seville were great but we are, as yet, still to recover our position from pre-2012. Whilst we are chasing Celtic’s coattails and trying to pick up the odd cup here and there they will continue to win the league and soon enough I predict they will start mouthing off about 10IAR. 2012 has put them in a power of strength and excluding Lennon bottling the big one we have been unable to get back on top for any reasonable amount of time. The loser and second best mentality will not improve until we rid ourself of the old guard of Tavernier, Goldson, Barasic and even Ryan Jack and John Lundstram. I think we can strap ourselves in for a rough few years where they will overtake our trophy haul and league titles. What I’d like to see is the new manager to come in with a medium to long term plan to turn things around. There’s no point going on a run of league wins when we are 10-12 points back and the league is done. We need real change and that starts with the losers that have let us down one too many times.2 points

Tbh it's just taking the win and hoping we get a good appointment in this following week. Hoping that the players don't think they've answered the critics because for 90% of that game it was tripe. Agree with the posts above - if anyone wants to tell me that young Lovelace and McCausland were out of their depth and not first team ready compared to their teammates on the pitch then please quote me and tell me, because that just makes you wonder... Hopefully now young Ross gets a run in the team, I won't hold my breath though.2 points

Don't say that, even in jest. Bisgrove may be reading this.......2 points

Whisper it, but we've looked better with Dessers at 9 as he's capable of holding the ball up.2 points

We really should be showing more urgency and looking for more goals.2 points

6 goals in last 6 games from Sima and in all honesty he's been the only outfield player who's looked interested in previous weeks.2 points
-
He’s actually pretty good if used properly. Good finisher gets into good positions. Hes not a give the ball to his feet back to goal type of wide player.2 points
-
Great goal there. Raskin bursting forward breaking lines. Great ball to Sima who finishes clinically. Amazing what you do when midfielders go beyond lines.2 points

I've always said that though!. You normally hide behind the settee during Rangers games 🤣2 points

Been like that when Gerrard was here too let’s not lie. Slow side to side fullbacks cross to no one.2 points

St Mirren had a player sent off didn't they? Looks like we're playing with 10 men .2 points

Shocker on Raskin. No wonder so many of our players are injured2 points
-
In the second half, feed McCausland continually. Against St Mirren's ten men, allow the young winger free range.2 points

Great play by MCausland to set up Rasking and he should be scoring that. Yet another age old indicator our shortcomings2 points

Whilst Sima has been one of the only positives in last few weeks, he's been disappointing thus far.2 points

O captain, my captain! (I had 'f*cking Donkey! Get him tae f*ck' lined up...)2 points

It's nice to see an aggressive 3-4-3. Shame it's St Mirren's...2 points

You have to ask: Why is the manager of the fhilth advising the Rangers' board to appoint a particular manager? Is it because he would galvanise the team, introduce new exciting tactics, play scintillating, brilliant, attacking football, install a new Iron Curtain defence, win both cups this season, claw back the deficit in the league, by winning, handsomely, the remaining OF games, put jobber teams to the sword, and secure Euro football after Ne'erday? Any of these? Naw; it's because he would secure Rangers in second place, if not in perpetuity, at least for as long as he remained in charge, or until nobody could thole it any more, and the shops, the bars, the museum, and the stands, lay empty, and he was dismissed. A safe pair of hands, if you want a second fiddler, to play second fiddle.2 points

At least Dessers and Lammers have been dropped. I think they both need a break.2 points

Got a funny feeling we might play well? Not sure why? Maybe the law of averages suggests we have to turn up in one of these games soon. Good luck Rangers. I'm away for a very long walk with no technology.2 points

Sad days when any Rangers fan believes he is the best option to manage our club. That's how far our expectations and aspirations have fallen.2 points
