  1. We would be relegation candidates. There’s nothing about this Rangers team that gives me any confidence.

  3. Too young to have assessed Willie Woodburn properly and Geordie Young was a colossus and the epitome of a Ranger but the man I pick for centre half is Ronnie McKinnon. Fast, knew what to do with the ball and though not a giant, nobody pushed him around. He was good. So was McNeil but not in McKinnon’s class.

  4. Doubt that very much English, Spanish teams etc quite often play fringe players when they’re playing in the EL & CL. they keep their best players for their domestic leagues

  6. They were stupendous players but Ronnie was up to the job

  7. If Real Betis have a goalkeeper crisis then let’s hope we can exploit it on Thursday. But too often I think we find ourselves in games where we’ve barely had a shot on target for long periods of time & the opposition keeper is having an easy time of it

  8. We’ve had some superb centre half’s in my time and Ronnie was one of the very best may he rest in peace.

  9. Remember Ronnie breaking into the first team, a great player for us. He dropped the “a” when signing autographs.

  10. Such very sad news to those of us of a certain vintage. In my opinion Ronnie McKinnon represented the very best of Rangers. A true legend in my eyes. Rest in peace Ronnie, you're remembered by far more than you'll ever know.

  12. Well played, Danilo. That was a Jimmy Millar header.

  13. True, however if that was the case then the manager obviously didn't fancy his chances v Barca?. I still think Betis will be too strong for us.

  15. Neither are in control of the ball. I think it’s an extremely soft pen, but it’s nothing like the Dessers one and people are scrambling to make a point that isn’t there.

  16. It reminds me of the yahoos in the 90s. We aren't winning trophies because we aren't playing well enough.

  17. It's been decades since I've been "too thin", but thanks anyway.

  18. I was one who said it may be better replacing him. However, I'm willing to accept other opinions and can see both sides of the argument. And I never said anyone called me deluded, although sometimes, when it comes to Rangers and music, clearly I can be at times (sure we can all admit to that)
