  1. This flag flies outside my house every day of the year, except my one isn't upside down. Some of my neighbours stopped talking to me when I installed the flagpole, can't think why, the miserable nationalist basturts.

  2. Some England players are simply on a different level. There is a reason Kane, Bellingham, Walker and Foden play for elite clubs in Europe. No great shame in losing to a team that has that much quality.

  3. A real pleasure to watch Jude Bellingham, the lad is a player. In a game of Harrys, we needed Harry Lime. The Tartan Army were predictably monotone and dirgeful..

  4. Marvellous response, I imagine the rebel was a bit deflated. I actually have 2 poles and usually fly a saltire alongside the union flag, which annoys them even more! At the moment it's been replaced by the Sweden flag in honour of my daughter in law's family who are visiting from that fine place.

  5. Well done. One of my son’s neighbours put up a “Yes” flag. Within days the loon had hoisted a Union Flag in response. Another neighbour followed suit and a third raised a replica Regimental Colour. The silent majority spoke.

  6. It kind of a bummer when I look at that squad and think what we spent in the summer. All that optimism wiped out. The defence looks very shaky if there are any injuries, and the forwards is chock full of players we don't play.

  7. Agree with you the "too young" syndrom is a pathetic view of players ability, just think of big DJ in the past.

  8. Give him the last twenty minutes in games that are won age goes for nothing in my book if he’s good enough play him

  9. I have been in France for a week, southern Brittany to get away from the football. I found the nerve to watch tonight and wish I had not. The first half has been a Harry Kane masterclass, he has gone wide, dropped short and, teased with half hearted darts into space. He has pulled our back four apart and left acres of space for Bellingham, Foden and, Rashford. We have not managed a single effort off or on target.

  10. The European quotas are not a secret, we could have built a squad with this in mind. Then again we could just be more focused on domestic success which I would be behind.

  11. Including Davies while leaving out Balogun strikes me as another classic 'Beale' mistake. He seems determined to ignore what everyone else can see.

  12. Forgot about Devine, good shout. Rice only been here for a year so doesn't qualify as trained at club. Not sure how that matters for the B list. Zak Lovelace will be the same.

  13. Thanks. Agree about Cantwell and Lawrence, even Wright to an extent. Rice and Devine as well as King and possibly Cole McKinnon will probably come in too then.

  14. Beale mentioned a knee injury in the previous presser. I'm putting 2+2 and maybe getting 5 but Dowell has missed a chunk of games at previous clubs due to knee injuries, plus we do have a track record with knee injuries. Cantwell and Lawrence can play in midfield. I expect the homegrown restrictions have had a big part to play in this. Player list B (young players) will be added later. Expect King will be there. Maybe Aaron Lyall too. We need at least 4 trained at club players and 4 nation trained players. Wright, Jack and Soutter are nation trained. Lowry would have been involved if not out on loan. This is where a Shankland or similar would have come in handy (not that I'm endorsing that particular player, more the eligibility side)

  15. We're out of the Champions League, we've dropped 6 points out of 12 in the SPFL and we're 4 points off the pace after only 4 games. Only one of our 9 new signings appears even slightly interested and our manager doesn't seem to have a clue what he's doing. All this and the biggest concerns of the day are hiring out Auchenhowie for a couple of days and what colour of socks we use. 😆

  19. “Dessers, Danilo and Lammers getting the practice in for St Johnstone away next weekend.” I’m impressed. This shows what good coaching can do. They’ve learned where the goal is and to kick the ball in that direction. Now if Beale can just sharpen their accuracy I can foresee a full trophy cabinet.
