It's almost certainly true, I believe him. I mean during his time at their club it was owned by Fergus McCann and then Dermot Desmond and both are known to be subservient to authority and would have shied away from confrontation with referees or the Scottish League. He also played under Tommy Burns and Martin O'Neill and both would have told 'Stubbsy' to put it behind him and concentrate on the match, the ref's decision is final. Plus this is regularly mentioned in the many paranoid Masonic collusion books, talks and films that seem to come out every year. His team mates at the time are forever speaking about it on radio too. Plus it's not like he's an irrelevant walloper struggling to find any kind of gainful employment. Let me be the first to call for the return of all medal and trophies we've won, I can't sleep now knowing about this injustice.11 points

I'm surprised at the confidence some are showing. Having watched us this season it's not something I currently share.6 points

I hope broadcast media Producers are aware of Stubbs ramblings. They could develop and market a weekly TV/Radio show entitled, 'Yahoos Talk Pysh'. Last year, it was Didier Agathe. Remember, he told of the constant fear of attack from marauding Rangers supporters? The situation was so bad, he had to travel to training inside an Armoured Car and, was constantly fearful that the marauding Bears would develop an anti-tank capability. Then there's Neil Lennon and his fear of an undergraduate in a Postman Pat outfit. Of course, there is some truth in this because we all know Postman Pat is a member of the Yakuza.5 points

Always this👆 To be honest I agree with what PSV fans and their manager said after the game on Weds, they weren't any better than they were in the first leg it's just that our defending was abysmal in the second leg and good in the first. I don't think we're as far from the UCL as people think and I'm wary of us making our bed in the UEL, which is what fans seem to want to do which I find frightening. Bottom line is we need to win the bloody league!4 points

After hobbling off the other night I'd be very surprised if Barisic makes it. Hopefully Yilmaz is fit again as I certainly don't fancy Sterling or Davies at left back. Perhaps Ykeko would be a better choice but that's a big risk as well. I'd certainly take Cifu out the team and add Jack to the side so allow us the same midfield that won us the game in May at Ibrox. Up front, I'd persevere with Matondo and probably play Roofe alongside him. It says a lot that none of the manager's outfield summer signings make the starting XI.4 points

We will need to up our game to have any chance of qualifying4 points

My Grandfather liked Bobby Shearer aka Captain Cutlass. He said when Shearer tackled an opposition player, he stayed tackled for the rest of the season. I would give the left back position to big Yfeko, hand him a chainsaw as he heads down the tunnel.4 points

It's not either / or. It's both.3 points

Utter nonsense - imagine the outcry if he had continued with an injury and was out for a season? Anyway, he was having a decent game prior to being injured. Why would he "shit it"? If he was going to "shit it" he'd have done it earlier. More undeserved, over the top and sensationalist, unfounded claptrap just to have a pop at a player.3 points

The way we played the other night we couldn’t beat Casey’s drum3 points

Betis - bad draw Prague - reasonable draw, although would have preferred it not to be them due to the side issues Aris - good draw I'm just glad we avoided Brighton.3 points

use it as a proper pre season. cash wins trophies too3 points

I know the money/prestige of playing in the Club World Cup would be great but as things stand, we'd be in for a few pastings. It's so frustrating that our recent European exploits, combined with our inability to win the league, have allowed the scum straight into the CL these past two seasons. That's why it's so important we win the league!3 points
-
Another positive from Zagreb not qualifying is that there are only now 2 teams who can stop Rangers from qualifying for the new Club World Cup - Bruge and Shaktar. Match or better their coefficient points and we will be going to the Club World Cup.3 points

Pretty much as it should be, to be honest.3 points

A welcome change rather than letting assets leave for nothing or cut price deals3 points

I just don't agree with your premise that it's either/or. You're just giving us an unrealistic either/or scenario with hugely limited parameters and definitions. We should be aiming for trebles and getting good runs (CL group stages or EL group stages and a round or two) in Europe. Actually, I'll simplify it more: aim for trebles and CL or European football after Christmas.2 points

Maybe Borna's old man can have a quick word with Davies.2 points

Borna fit for the weekend after the scan - it's past the point about joking about it, when the going gets tough he's an utter shitebag. Still think we'll win on Sunday mind, if there isn't a big reaction from Wednesday it'll be nasty for Beale.2 points

It shows our strength that we have such high value players as squad players2 points

Do you have any confidence in our manager and his collection of new players to get that job done? I am struggling to see it myself.2 points

Have you seen the teams in the conference cup? Lille, Zagreb, Brugge, Alkmaar, Villa, Fiorentina, Frankfurt, Fenerbahce, to name a few. If we cant get past Prague & Limassol, how do we think we get to the last 4 or so with the above teams involved?2 points

I have absolutely no doubt it will be totally overpriced, and will completely sell out. And dont forget to watch out for the Thursday Cup Range from Castore hitting an email inbox near you soon, with even more overpriced "leisure and travelwear" for us to consume, which we will in huge numbers.2 points

We are top seeds for a reason, so anything less than 1st place is statistically a failure. We have beaten far better sides than these 3 in the last couple of years. The bonus of missing a round plus additional bonuses for topping the group is the only target we should have. And then I remember Beale is still our manager, our star European performers are mostly gone, and our new recruits we have to give at least a year to bed in, so as long as we get 3rd place and drop into the diddy diddy cup that would be acceptable now wouldn't it?2 points

I think it will be the more or less the same culprits that took part in Wednesdays debacle i think what we have at this moment is a manager struggling with his new buys and having to play them to justify his position , think your better watching Colombo on Sunday .2 points

It's almost at the stage where we're picking the least bad player for each position (reminds me of elections).2 points

Real Betis got their colours from Celtc (guy from there studied in Glasgow and liked that lot's strip) and as such, I don't like them.2 points

Zagreb drop into the ECL, so they still have the opportunity to catch us. In fact, they'll have easier opposition, so arguably they have a better chance of catching us. Brugge were so close to bombing out of everything yesterday, but 2 quick goals turned the game around against Osasuna and so they're still the biggest threat.2 points

I remember traveling home from a Rangers match at Killie? The radio was on and the usual sycophants were in an argument on which Sellik player was deserving of the match ball after two of them had notched a double against Accies in an 8-1 win. A wag at the back of the supporters bus shouted, "Stubbs, because he needs another ball". Stubbs, once again advertises why he is most worthy of ridicule.2 points

You don't just pick a bunch of players and say, 'Lads—go out and play. Enjoy yourselves'. P*sh. It takes a certain level of coaching to get teams playing a certain way, at a certain level. An average group of players, properly coached, will outplay a team of better players without coaching. That's part of our problem: relying on individuals for moments of brilliance. No one plays like that anymore. I never really criticise players; I always blame the one directing them.2 points

It's about time that he was shown the door. For someone with a level of legal expertise, we lost a hell of a lot of court cases and signed dodgy contracts under his watch, and that's before we look at what he did with C1872.1 point
