It seems, to me at least, that, historically, Rangers has always accommodated the fhilth, compromised with it, generally indulged its fads, foibles, and, let's be honest, its self indulgent tantrums, all the while displaying punctilious courtesy. By doing so, and by maintaining the infamous 'dignified silence', the Club has merely encouraged its behaviour and, of course has received little (read nothing) by way of quid pro quo. In fact, the fhilth has treated Rangers' position as one of weakness, and acted accordingly. The lesson is clear: to treat guttersnipe like gentlemen is a fool's errand. That the Club should even consider giving the fhilth X thousand prime seats with a view to receiving a lesser number, perched up in a high corner, with restricted views, in return, is absolute nonsense. The Club was duped into this arrangement before, and I hope it will not get fooled again.10 points

The Green Brigade raised that banner on the 66th minute of their match on Saturday. I'm sure many of you have seen their graffiti references to 66 too. Anyone who wants to give them more tickets should have a serious word with himself. Do you like their IRAoke? Do you like their Palestinian/Papal flags? Do you like how they're still trying to wriggle out of apologising to and compensating the many victims of the paedophile ring they facilitated? Do you invite smelly tramps into your house? I hope none of them set foot in Ibrox ever again.9 points

I think there is a real player in Lammers we need to give him time the same with Danilo and Dessers and the others who have just arrived4 points

Lammars surplus to requirements? He's played 3 league games. This must be the most over analysed Rangers squad in our history.4 points

Which would be fine if I knew we were going to win the league in the end. Too often over the last 10 years they have had the last laugh.3 points

What you're actually saying is you would be happy for Rangers fans to be denied a seat in our own stadium and for Celtic fans to occupy those seats instead. That might be acceptable if thousands of Ibrox seats were otherwise normally empty at OF games but that's never going to be the case. What I cannot understand is wanting to treat Celtic differently compared with other Scottish clubs ..... because we want to impress a global audience who otherwise couldn't give a stuff about Rangers. If that mob ever get the whole Broomloan stand again then the club will have let down the Rangers support big time.3 points

Great. I knew my subscription to Servus TV Österreich HD would come in handy some day....🤣🤣🤣2 points

It can work in terms of increasing his value. If he can play a successful season in English League 1 for example that makes him more sellable for the club, particularly if the feeling is he's not going to make our first team. The same applies with Lowry. If he has a decent season with Hearts, we might still decide to sell him next summer, but he's got more value to us with 30 odd SPFL first team games under his belt. I think we also have a duty of care with young players. It's a short career, if they're not good enough for our first team then this at least allows them to begin building a career elsewhere. Lewis Mayo is a recent example. His loan spells allowed him to gain experience and he's now a regular with Killie. That's a decent standard for a player of his age, if he can keep progressing then a move to a bigger SPFL club or even an English Championship club is a possibility, I'd hope we have a sell-on percentage or similar in place with Kilmarnock.2 points

Even if we were to go back to the 7,000 fans, ours couldn't really be seen at Parkhead anyway, so I'm not sure how much it makes it that much more attractive. It's a very one-sided arrangement. To get a better TV deal, the priority has to be getting changes at the SPFL, or it won't matter either way.2 points

I am quite happy with none of them getting back to ibrox again, I think if anything their ground has lost atmosphere on old firm match days and ibrox is louder. But if the board makes any agreements and succumb to any deals we should be seeking the whole stand behind the goal at Celtic park let them have the corners. But I repeat if it was up to me they would not get anything again.2 points

Where does this crusade come from to have more Rangers fans denied seats at Ibrox? I keep reading it's because without 7000 Celtic fans in the stadium the "atmosphere" will be diminished, despite all the recent evidence to the contrary. I also see some making the case on the basis of "fairness", whatever that is. Is it just possible this is essentially an entirely selfish move by our away supporters to increase the number of tickets available to them at Parkhead, to the detriment of the majority of our match-going fans who attend home games only?2 points
-
I would as you are giving up a percentage of your stadium which could be given to home fans if the percentage is not reciprocated why bother, it is like giving Aberdeen the brommie and saying we want 7500 of your stadium which only holds 20000 does that seem fair honestly. Percentage of stadiums seems more fair as you are asking clubs to give up home fans seats.2 points

Surely the basis of any "standoff" is the number of season tickets Rangers can sell every season and the preference that has to be given to those fans. Why should Rangers fans be disadvantaged in our own stadium. We don't need 7000 baying riff raff in the Broomie to create an atmosphere in Ibrox, as recent European ties make clear.2 points

Some would have Hateley away based on his performances for the first couple of months. They would have had Ally away during his "Ally, Ally GTF" period. There's obviously an expectation that when you move to a different league in a different country with a unique playing and refereeing style that you should be instantly be wonderful, whether you're fully fit or not. Things were a lot simpler and people a lot more reasoned before the hysteria caused by social media.2 points

King still has to do a bit of improving until he's ready for our first team. Hopefully he'll go somewhere that he can get a regular start.1 point

Surely that would only be sanctioned if we were getting at least one in. We're trying to get rid of Davies as well so would leave us very short1 point

Sorry but the idea that 7000 Celtic fans in Ibrox is a prerequisite for a successful Rangers brand is risible. As is the idea that we will somehow get more TV money if we deny seats to Rangers fans ..... how did that work out when they had the entire Broomloan stand? But please feel free to explain how this "much bigger TV contract" will be secured 😆. As for "poisonous atmosphere", I think you're trying to translate the atmosphere in the stadium to what comes across on TV, even though the two are completely different.1 point
-
No we can talk to certain clubs when they can't fill out their percentage of ibrox and can try to increase our tickets when we travel to certain clubs that can't fill their stadiums.1 point

Time to bin Lammers. I will use the 'heavy shirt' cliché if I have to.1 point

I've voted for Lundstram as he is playing every game with the bulk of fans already writing him off. Still think he has a big part to play this season as Jack can't play two games in a week IMO. He was good on Tuesday and really good today as he moved the ball quicker.1 point

I wonder what percentage of the 'worldwide audience' have stopped watching these matches because of the reduced allocation(s). That's a rhetorical question because I couldn't give a toss. Give. Them. Nothing.1 point
-
Well, aye it's hypothetical? I'll cover all bases and say he what if he flops at Alaves, camps out on the bench and no one wants to take him? Or he has a good loan, Barca come in with a £30m bid after he puts on a masterclass at the Spotify arena and we're laughing. No loan fee is stupid granted but the actual loan is fine imo, we're not short in that area.1 point

They think that accusing us of killing our club is the way to get us to change our minds over their ticket allocation? And just in case we had forgotten that their support is full of the scum of society, they decided to bring the banner out in the 66th minute. The banner and the group behind it are fully sanctioned and supported by their club and their directors. Hopefully Bisgrove quickly realises that their club is a disease from top to bottom and never returns to the negotiating table.1 point

Actually, they killed the 'Old Firm' and are accusing us of killing the 'derby' - just morons. End of.1 point

Absolutely no way should they ever get the whole Broomloan again1 point

So they want their old allocation back against a 'dead' club Only C****c could come up with that1 point

The boys getting regular minutes for a top domestic side in Scotland, let's back him ffs. He might not be good enough for us but he can try his best to be and if he isn't he can carve out a career that 99% of academy players in the UK would dream of, he's just started a game away in Europe..how many can say that? I'd love it if our youth players propped up the Scottish game, because if that happens then invariably we'll produce our own for the team.1 point
