  1. If he believes that Scotland would be financially better off being independent then you have to question his financial acumen.

  2. Score early, often, and put it to bed. The longer it goes... When we start whippin clod hoppers like this bunch I will know the worm has turned.

  3. I've said it before but Lowry isn't ready for our first team. You rarely see a good football match at Tynecastle. Lots of kick and rush but that's about it. The thing with Ultras is they all look the same, sing the same songs and behave the same way - it gets to the stage where it becomes very tedious due to these similarities.

  4. Should think players like Danilo, Lundstram and Lammers will get a start. Maybe Dowell as well.

  6. Came on for Hearts in the second half for Barrie McKay. Didn’t get a lot of the ball and didn’t to anything with it when he did. Shankland scored an efficient penalty and “scored” with a brilliant strike from a slightly offside position. Apart from that Hearts were woeful. Stand up to their rumbustious play for ten minutes and the game’s yours as PAOK found out, 1-2. Hearts’ ultras pointless just like Hibs’ last night in fact like all ultras everywhere.

  7. Very much so. A fresh spark these last few games. He and Cantwell are the driving creative players we must keep for this season. Lawrence needs some time still, and Dowell so far is not on the same creative level of Cantwell and Hagi. And Cantwell is that sort of all-action player that will always get the odd yellow card and attention of these "powerhouse" defenders and midfield brawlers of lesser Scottish teams. He's bound to miss a fair few games.

  8. The Hazard link is complete nonsense. It's based on some WhatsApp message doing the rounds. Although, I did say the same about Ramsay...

  10. Wasn't it something like 3m? To be honest, for a player who's never been a fixture in the side, just come off a long lay off and is down the pecking order in terms of his position on the pitch - this is very good business imo. Cantwell, Lammers, Dowell and Lawrence can all play his position as well as Lowry if he has a good loan spell. No brainer.

  11. It's tedious enough even without any comparisons. There was a time when ultras were at least interesting and different, now they're just so many clones acting out the same tragic performance week after week after week after week etc. And that fukking drum!

  15. It was hard for him last night on account that Hearts didn’t play well as a team

  16. He played really well on Saturday, albeit vs Partick Thistle. Lets see how he's going at the end of the season. If he can play 35-40 games and hopefully some group stage european games, I think he'll kick on nicely and be an option for next season.

  17. Sky Sports Chelsea Article re FFP Also "Chelsea's 12th placed finish last season also means that they do not have to adhere to UEFA regulations as they did not qualify for Europe. Simon Jordan has outlined how that approach under Boehly has helped the Blues to stay within the laws of FFP, albeit with a loophole." I hadn't realised not being in Europe made a difference. IMO it should be enforced for every club regarless of European football or league position.

  19. He was poor with the ball last night and very poor off it. Looked out of his depth sadly.

  21. Are they not getting away with it because of the length of most of these new contract, 7,8 or 9 years and this window in particular are selling a lot of home-grown players which will go down as total 100% profit.

  24. Son of the former SFA president David Taylor, so the rabid will be claiming more ammunition that the SFA are all pure Rainjurs an that. It doesnt actually say anywhere in the lengthy introduction piece that he or his family have ever supported Rangers, which leads me to think he doesnt/didnt. I dont mind that at all as it doesnt prevent him from doing a good job, as long as he is not a bheast because that most certainly would.

  25. I think he is another example of a player who can fill a few different postions. he can play in a midfield 3 he can play as a 10 behind the strikers can play as a wide player who will move inside (inverted wide player the xG kids call them i think)
