  1. Beeb Speculation? My Iberian hurl has ended, my drive up the road from Portsmouth yesterday was the usual nightmare. Driving in both Spain and Portugal is a joy, the adventure of the empty roads. Although, try finding a parking place in any Iberian town or village? The entire peninsula is parked out. Anyways, the wheels of my car had just left the roll on - roll off Ferry when Radio Four was speculating upon the name of a well known Auntie Beeb Presenter who has paid £35k to a seventeen year old girl for sexually explicit images. I note several Beeb personalities have anxiously got on their marks to state, "it's no me". Jeremy, Gary, Nicky, ...... et al are the chorus. Now, decisive action has been taken at Broadcasting House, they have suspended the Presenter concerned. He or she has been taken off air. Being away for over a month, immediately I wondered about Creepy Chris, the grassy knoll sentinel? Then, at Noon I listened as 'Off the Ball' announced RAB Cosgrove and Ray Bradshaw as Presenters. No mention of Token Tam and, the same today. Would Tam the Token shell out £35k for a tug? What about Kheredine, Tom, Pat, Susie McCabe, ..... etc? We cannot underestimate the effect of their beloved Sellik banning PQ from the unveiling of Brenda. Doing a Derek Mackay sexpesting a teenager of school age is the behaviour expected from unrequited love.

  2. I agree with Cammy, Kamara was outstanding in the CL qualifiers. I suspect he became a bit of a lost soul because two of his best mates, Bassey and Aribo had left and, the other ie Ryan Kent was the subject of constant speculation. Those four were inseparable, they holidayed together, attended gigs together, chilled together, ..... etc. Kent is away too, thus Kamara is last man standing. It is the way of the modern footballer.

  3. Maybe my mind is failing me but I thought GK totally bossed the midfield in both CL qualifiers against PSV. I also don't think he's been as bad as folk make out over last 2 seasons. But do understand that football fans see everything as black and white, with no middle ground. At £50K Kamara has been a real find and will make us a decent profit when he leaves.

  4. "A bad couple of games"? More like a bad couple of seasons. I feel particularly annoyed at Kamara. He has the skill but not the commitment and that's unforgivable . He's become a wage thief and may well be one of the reasons why morale has been a problem in the squad.

  5. These two can't defend so therefore they are of no use to man nor beast

  6. We must be the only team in the world that punts players for nothing just because they have a bad couple of games... Silly.

  7. They are switching from Three, who decided to ask Chelsea to remove the sponsorship from the shirt after the start of the conflict in Ukraine and Chelsea refused and were going to sue, so Three relented after the new owners took over. That deal was £40m a year and they had a couple of deals blocked, Paramount Plus was one but was blocked by the EPL. Any new deal is expected to be £50m for 5 years.

  8. Tav needs his games reduced at the very least I'd say. Get Sterling and Devine sharing 15-20 starts between them at RB, no reason why they can't with what we're up against domestically most weeks. Yilmaz has to be LB/LWB for me, Barisic is fine if you want to swing in crosses all day but we need to get away from that.

  9. I'm slightly concerned that, at a time of wholesale and much needed squad changes, we are still trying to justify the inclusion of defenders we widely recognise are poor at defending.

  10. Aye he was good in those games. Like @Bill has said, he's got the ability but just hasn't got the mindset of an elite footballer. He shrinks and hides when he plays for us these days. It's a shame because he had the world at his feet, similar to Kent and Morelos (seems to be a pattern with that 55 side) and he geniunely could've played for a good side in a top 5 league. At his best he was probably worth £10m+, right now I'd take £2m and hopefully cover the costs of his wages. Maybe the Slavia abuse demotivated him and who's to say it wouldn't, I can't put myself in his shoes but the club backed him, Gio then backed him and Beale gave him a chance and he just hasn't taken it. I'd thank him and move on, there's been far worse players with far worse attitudes for Rangers.

  11. Kamara clearly doesn't lack ability, we've seen that often enough. What he does seem to lack is strength of character.

  12. I think Kamara's problems may have stemmed from the time he got that racial nonsense from the Czech guy. Before that I can remember him as a skilful midfielder and one particular European goal stands out.

  13. Glenn Kamara at his best isn't worth 4.7M but we always under sell our players so keep haggling Rangers

  14. Stirling is primarily a RB, who can fill in at CB or LB, hence the right side. Souttar can play both sides at CB, but has primarily replaced Davies on the left, hence placing him on the left. That's a few people that have challenged my positioning of Stirling. You're the first that has said he should play on the left. The others have said he can only play on the right side. Ultimately, we don't know; he's quite versatile.
