  1. I'm happy to see the back of Tillman and his confusing contract. It seemed clear to me he had little intention of returning to Rangers anyway. It's £5m to spend on someone else.

  2. Without seeing the T&Cs we'll never know. It's more likely that Bayern have moved the goalposts. Anyhow, Wilson has gone, it appears Tillman isn't signing, it's time to move on from both. Onwards and upwards.

  3. So quite clearly we did NOT have an option to buy at £5M. You would have thought this is a fairly simple situation. If we believed we had such an agreement then either a Wilson or the lawyers have messed up. If we didn’t have this agreement then we were lied to. If we DO have such a clause then invoke it or sue Bayern for substantial compo. Just days after our new CEO says it will all be about transparency, let’s hear it.

  4. Look, old chap, you may be suffering biscuit deficiency but there’s no need for that.

  5. I did some digging and finally found out the law firm we employ for contracts.

  6. Or, nobody knows anything are we're all just wildly speculating? Don't like Bayern? Nazi b*stards have moved the goalposts. Don't like Tillman? The wee pr*ck thinks he's too good for us. Don't like DoF? Incompetent f*ck negotiating terrible contracts.

  7. If you want to get loan players from clubs in the big leagues, you probably have to take a hit on certain aspects of the deal. I don't think Rangers are in much of a position to dictate terms to the likes of Bayern Munich. I'm not sure Tillman is keen to move to Scotland permanently and even less sure about whether I'd want us to spend £5m on him.

  8. Well, the winning federation gets about £10m from UEFA. It's more than a friendly.

  9. Similar to the Lewis Ferguson stuff. It's not happening, let's just get on with it.

  10. Agreed, but on the upside he's got the baggage of the way that he left last time and IF he starts badly then he will hopefully get less leeway than other mangers would and it won't take much for the fanbase to turn. Plus he's an arrogant, egoistical, tranny-loving arsehole, so there's a lot of hope for us.

  11. I'm sure I remember when we signed him that the buy option was subject to Bayern having the final say (or something along those lines)

  12. Lots of things should have been but we can't turn back time so what's done is done. Only the future matters.

  14. It wasn't the worst 0-0 draw ever but didn't live up to expectations either.

  15. And he was coming back from an ACL (or similar) injury.

  16. Truly ground braking stuff. Wonder if he got some magic beans with that. Colour me cynical, but that just sounds like we get to make them an offer and they can decide to accept or not just like every other football transfer, but with extra steps.

  17. Read about it back then and it was written, that Rangers made a loan-deal with a fixed buy sum after that. The buy-back thing is not that common, but I thought that this was Bayern's back-door to get him Back if he becomes famous. That there was another clause between loan and the buy option is indeed strange. But I see that Rangers have bought good players since.

  18. Was it not that Bayern retained an exclusive buy-back option?

  19. I 100% know its Ross Wilsons fault because he is a rather smug looking wee sausage

  20. So the option to buy we had for Tillman was the same option we have to buy on Haaland, Mason Mount or indeed any other player in professional football. Make an offer and see if they accept. Sounds like some top notch negotiating skills our end. Wouldn't want to haggle with that guy.

  21. If this story is true, it's a bit strange. From what was said by Beale previously, the ball was in Tillman's court and he would decide where he wanted to be. If we have now offered to buy him, Tillman must have agreed to move. If Bayern are playing hardball, maybe Tillman will down tools until they let him go - as if.

  22. If he was an excellent manager, he most definitely wouldn't be back with that lot. Brendan still thinks he should be managing in the EPL ,but had no offers, he is on the slide .

  23. Perhaps it’s £5M cash down and Rangers offered instalments.

  24. Just applied it now. Only took a minute. If it persists try clear your cache and cookies. But they did acknowledge an issue which that out of band patch should fix hopefully. Bf
