I'm actually a big fan of Fashions, I've blown hot and cold over him at times, though. . All the comments are pretty fair about his strengths and weaknesses, however what hasn't been mentioned is that he's also learning and improving. He demonstrated that with his goal on Saturday, he was in a similar position against the same opposition before and crumbled, this time he took a better route around the keeper and scored. Okay, just one example, but I really think he will continue to improve if he gets games and I'll be hoping he can prove his critics wrong and nail down a place in the starting 11. So, yes, he's more than useful, for me.3 points

I can't stand 'minor' knock.... what, as opposed to one of those major knocks?2 points

As it happens, his injury "history" began with us ...2 points

Yes, I think (and hope) that they can. It will be tricky but at home, they should have enough.2 points

FBref. I believe it's comparing him to other central midfielders in his league, but I could be wrong. Edit: He's compared to players in his position from "Men's Next 8 Competitions (American Major League Soccer, Brazilian Série A, Dutch Eredivisie, English Championship, Mexican Liga MX, Portuguese Primeira Liga, Copa Libertadores, UEFA Europa Conference League)". https://fbref.com/en/about/scouting-reports-explained One way it might be skewed is he's compared to sitting midfielders, which he is but he seems to get forward a lot, too. FBref separate defensive midfielders from attacking midfielders/wingers.1 point

It's actually a lot better than what I expected we'd get. Due credit must be given to the Board for the way they eventually approached this issue, they basically ripped up everything that had previously been done and started afresh. The stumbling block over the years was always the reduction of capacity and ongoing associated loss of revenue not only have they mitigated this the have increased the capacity and ergo associated income. Cantilevers had been looked at before and the assumption always was they weren't practical on the Broomloan and Copland as they are a different design and construction to the Govan but obviously that has changed as time has moved on and construction techniques advanced.1 point

One vital stat missing from that list,...Is he injury prone?1 point

Kent’s replacement then.. In all seriousness not sure how reliable/comparable stats for the mls are. It’s an odd league.1 point

More accurately, it increased while at Rangers. Which seems to be the new standard for players at the club. He missed 7 games in 21-22--'knocks'--the most annoying term of terms.1 point

Despite living in Berlin, my Anatolian is rather bad. 🤪1 point

I think it depends on whether Real Madrid play to their full capabilities. When they're 'on it' no one can live with them. They've won it far too often recently and are a set of cheating gits (more so than most), so hopefully City can knock them out.1 point

I'm still convinced that a large part of our injury problems stemmed from GvB. I believe we'll see an upturn next season with MB's methods.1 point

Apart from his excellent work rate, injury record and never getting in trouble with the ref, Sakala contributes numbers.1 point
