He might not become a cult figure like Nacho Novo, but essentially plays in a similar role with similar effect: Nacho Novo - Games: 228 - Goals: 62 - Assists: 21 Fashion Sakala - Games: 88 - Goals: 21 - Assists: 15 ... and IIRC, Novo hardly faced the brickwall attitude that we see nowadays with Scottish teams. He sure is one of these "attackers" that are not a typical centre-forward type, but has been rather effective on the right side of our attack than most players out there for the best part of three seasons. Only Cantwell has outshone his contributions in terms of goals, assists, and goal involvements this year. I'd even go as far as saying that without these two players, the year 2023 would have been a far more dire affair indeed. He's got a contract till 2025 and I for one hope that he stays for at least this long.4 points

He's both awful and useful. Had a good game at the weekend though. If an offer for £3m+ came in for him, I'd snap your hand off for it, but I'll not lose any sleep if we keep him as a squad player for next season.4 points

If McCrorie keeps his game up to the standard he has set so far I would give him the the No1 jersey and use the money saved to get a really good striker.3 points

What he means is, 'I don't like the DoF, so I'm going to make up anything I can to criticise him and question the whole DoF structure even if every elite side in world football uses one.'2 points

Morelos - 44 games (2,200 mins) - 12 goals - 7 assists Kent - 44 games (3,670 mins) - 3 goals - 10 assists Cantwell - 17 games (2,223 mins) - 4 goals - 5 assists2 points

He’s got tremendous work rate he’s probably done more running in his last 90 minutes than Morelos and Kent have done in the past 90 days .2 points

Our memories are often inaccurate, too. You always need those players, anyway. @Sutton_blows_goats always talks about Maurice Ross and Bob Malcolm. Average players at best, but integral squad players.1 point

Sakala is similar now but there are those calling for him to be punted.1 point

I know but if we had a striker playing today that was effectively 1 goal in 3.5 games, we would be asking questions.1 point

Tbh Yuddie, I don't want Nisbet. I think we're beyond that level now. I do like the look of the lad Krasso from st Ettienne though.1 point

So this is just something Cantwells agent would insist on so he does not get priced out a move back to England. Cheers Rab1 point

In the clause there could be a set figure at which once a club bids the clause is activated & player gets allowed to speak to the club and signs if they agree terms.1 point

I would be surprised if epl clubs were not looking at him. He has had our number for a while with a bang average team, barring ccv & jota.1 point

I did not think the fella Wilson did a very good job myself tbh, but to "make it easy for someone to sign him from us" seems crazy1 point

He will need to show consistency over a season, not a few months. We will have the opportunity to see how he does in Europe and in the domestic cups. Selling him at this stage would bring in minimum cash. We would be mad to do it.1 point

Listening to Liverpool fans booing the national anthem at Leicester only confirms everything I've ever felt about that nauseating love-me-love-me club. In most ways that matter, Liverpool is the Celtic of England.1 point

If Fashion Sakala had it all, he wouldn't be playing for Rangers. His finishing is erratic but there is no doubting his pace. I'd say he is a modern day Ted McMinn with goals.1 point

"the sooky, sooky Rangers orientated Scottish football media". Tam 'the Token' Cowan has just uttered the above in reaction to the story of Sky Sports, Elidh Barbour closing the show yesterday be saying, "that is the last old firm game of the season and Rangers fans have the close season bragging rights". Roger Mitchell(remember him) led ra outraged Yahoo charge demanding Sky sack her because his green'n'grey hooped heroes are about to secure another Treble and, that is real bragging rights. Token Tam supposed Elidh was reading an auto cue or, was anxious to remain within, "the sooky, sooky Rangers orientated Scottish football media". Tam is the very epitome of the sooky, sooky Rangers orientated Scottish football media. He moonlights on PLZ Soccer as 'the Token'. Former Radio Snyde frontman, Peter(M'Guire)Martin founded PLZ Soccer after being sacked by Snyde. He and ra Bhoy in Corduroy were ruminating on the Thursday evening of the 2010 General Election, speculating on how the then Scottish managers would cast their vote? The show broadcast between 18.00hrs and 20.00hrs when the polls were open. As we know, broadcast laws do NOT allow political speculation during the period polling booths are open(06.00hrs-22.00hrs). Peter McGuire hail hails from Newarthill, he changed his name to Martin because of anti-RC prejudice when he began in journalism. His first decade was spent in Edinburgh in the Hootsman grouping and Radio Forth. Meanwhile back in the west, he was hosting ra Sellik View roadshow. Paul Cooney formalised the gig bringing him on to Radio Snyde. After 15 years or so and his sacking he founded PLZ Soccer - Peter, Linzi and, Zoe - names of himself, wife and, daughter. It is just another Sellik supporters Podcast on YouTube. The main participants for the decade have been : Peter Martin - Sellik fanatic Tam McManus - Sellik fanatic Hugh MacDonald - Sellik fanatic Alison McConnell - Sellik fanatic Alan Rough - played for Sellik Tam Cowan - the Token. Peter's bye-line is you will always receive an opinion from PLZ which interpretated is you will always receive a Sellik supporting opinion from PLZ. Just last week, PLZ banged on about the unique situation of Rangers not conceding a league penalty at Ibrox this season. Tam McManus was spluttering that the situation was an impossibility with the rest nodding sagely. A Scottish club has already gone throughout a league season twice before without conceding a home penalty - the same club; Sellik did it as recently as season 2014-15. Anyways, Tam the Token moves the show on to 'Well centre forward, Kevin van Veen's future. We are told he is leaving the claret and amber this coming close season and Tam wonders on the valuation? He goes around the panel of RAB Cosgrove and Journo, Alan Pattullo. RAB declares the Dutchman to be top end English Championship class and worthy of a £6.5million bid. Pattollo is more conservative in his £1.5 million valuation. As we know, RAB hates to be portrayed as lazy and ignorant; thus he comes back with, "my valuation is based upon the Morelos calculator". Of course the sooky sooky Rangers orientated Scottish football media within PQ rushed to inform RAB that the valuation of Morelos was based upon his 29 European goals for Rangers? How many Euro goals has van Veen notched RAB- petty and ill informed. Surely, it is time for RAB and Tam to expose any members of the Lap-Top Loyal RSC lurking within PQ corridors?1 point
