I don't know why anyone would be against creating a better atmosphere?3 points
-
Not really. Ultras or whatever you want to call them are similar throughout Europe, in terms of their aims and behaviour. The atmosphere at Ibrox is generally abysmal, so anything that can make it better should be supported. I much prefer standing at the football.3 points

I’ve been critical of most of the performances under Beale and while today wasn’t free-flowing total football I think today was about as good as it can get at that venue. That pitch and style of the home team makes good football impossible so I’m always happy enough to get the 3 points, no injuries and up the road.2 points
-
3 points and up the road. Borna, Cantwell and Raskin standouts but not a cohesive performance. Roofe showing again that when fit, he is a starter - best finisher at the club. Some "conversational" banners on display from the UBs today - don't know if TV caught them.2 points

It's still a fact, we don't score enough goals.2 points

Well, wiry and tough Scots/British-born guys, more used to that plastic trash. Okay, we sure played well enough and truth be told, Kamara did well in the holding role next to the raf more creative Raskin. Maybe playing Kamara next to Jack and/or Lundstram keeps them all stepping on their toes and somewhat unsure? Cantwell playing more deeply today and spreading passes like Raskin (we really got a couple of good footballers here), Sakala always a threat ... though we generally played rather well. Would have been a nice game all round, had it not taken that long for the reassuring goals.2 points

Thought we lost our way a wee bit for 15mins in the 2nd half but ultimately it was a comfortable, well deserved win. Just need to add some more care/quality in the final third and perhaps have a wee bit more structure in defensive moments. Now onto Hampden - bring it on!2 points

imagine a Roofe with no injury problems.2 points

We don’t score enough goals. Really struggle with it.2 points

They've not shown a decent replay of the offside decision for whatever reason. Otherwise, it was a clear penalty and red card.2 points

Have to disagree with some responses there. As a supporter who goes to games to watch and support the team, and having had the misfortune of being in and around theUB at several away games over last few years, it is safe to say I’m not a fan. From close quarters many of them spend the match watching what others in the UB are doing rather than what’s happening on the pitch, and the big flags being constantly waved do nothing but block fellow fans view of the game. I also do not support the view that they are responsible for creating the atmosphere at Ibrox. Good performances on the pitch create good atmosphere in the stands. Always have done, always will do. The constant banging of the drum doesn’t turn a dull match into a good one. Then there are the fines the club has received from UEFA purely from the self-serving look at us actions from them with their flares and other nonsense. Why would the club endorse a fan group that takes money directly out of the club?2 points

Do you know any UBs? Why would they want to copy GB? UB (and The Blue Order) displays are far more impressive than GB and been doing them for longer than GB. Union Bears have their faults but Ibrox (and away games) would be poorer without them.2 points
-
Nailed it @Bill on both posts. It seems everything UB do is in relation to GB. They clearly admire their work. I’m totally against safe standing at Ibrox, they already stand throughout the game anyway, this just seems a way to be able to hide from cctv, I don’t see it brings anything positive to proceedings for a massive cost when we have so many areas needing this investment, like better facilities for our disabled fans for starters.2 points

I thought Raskin was a standout . If Roofe and Golson had been fit all season we wouldnt be 9 behind. Bring that mob on. We could/should have beaten them at Ibrox and did the last time at Hampden. Nothing to fear......................... is it 26th yet1 point

Aye those were the day’s standing in a tightly packed terrace with the bloke next to you standing with his knob in a cut beer can whilst some half cut twat slumped behind you burning a hole in your coat1 point

But there have always been "hooligans" in the game, and Rangers fans have never been "shrinking violets". Just ask the residents of Birmingham, Manchester, Chesterfield........ As for their banner today - Beale made the wrong decision last week, he'll need to live with that and don't think he'll lose any sleep over the banner. If he does, he's in the wrong job, and the UB have the right to express their views as much as you or I. Rangers fans (Ultras or otherwise) have always liked to have a go at board, managers and players, so MB is in some fine company in that regard. Whilst the UB are no angels, I've not witnessed them causing any trouble at Rangers games, well apart from a half-hearted rush at Liverpool fans, and what they do away from the game is their business.1 point

We a fit Roofe or need someone like him, an instinctive and clinical goal scorer. A couple of seasons ago Tav was scoring for fun. We could be doing with more set piece goals especially from defenders. We are short of goals from all areas of the park.1 point
-
Yeah. It’s been this way for a while. We just don’t have enough goal scorers. Guys like Cantwell are good players but won’t score goals. Kent’s not a goal scorer. Kamara and Raskin won’t score much. Not sure what the fix is.1 point

There's not a banner big enough for the sins of that bastard1 point

It can always be quicker, of course. But we do have the most incompetent of incompetents in charge of this.1 point

If that’s the case it’s madness. I just don’t understand why fans would feel the need to make such a banner. Looks like its all about them, what the GB can do so can we.1 point

Kent looked onside going by that replay so pen for me.1 point

Ok, he didn't actually look offside to me. Weird how it takes so bloody long for these VAR calls.1 point

I was replying to confirm the game not available in the UK. Anyway i personally use NordVPN airways to fly to Madrid to purchase and watch the game on rtv. That way i can pretend I’m in some decent weather.1 point

I have a VPN flight booked at 2.30pm to either the US or Canada, not sure where i'll land.1 point

Indeed. The UB displays tend to celebrate our club, whereas the unwashed, plastic Oirish scummy GB displays tend to focus on oppression, vicTimhood and Tories.1 point

Astonishing at the faux outrage about staging the WC in Qatar but quite happy to accept their money for club football1 point

Maybe Club1872 can put to good use the money harvested from its members by selling its shares and donating proceeds to the club for facility improvements. Just not this pointless vanity project that the vast majority of the stadium will never enjoy. Is there anything these people can’t get wrong?1 point
