  1. I have no issue with Sky doing what it considers to be in its own interests. I have a huge issue with the organisations whose sole responsibility is to act in the interests of Scottish Football. TV contracts require 2 parties to agree and the one that's letting us down isn't SkySports

  3. I had high hopes for James Sands, but i think if he had a realistic shot of being a regular midfielder for us we would have seen more of him there by now. Standard Rangers injury stuff with the likes of Jack, Arfield, Lundstram out and Raskin only returning to training today. Kamara playing through an injury like he has all season. Just what we need a week before the LC final on a plastic park

  5. Is there anyone in Scottish football I wonder who seriously believe SKY will show anywhere near those 60 games per season they’re entitled to show in the new TV deal ?

  6. I'm not sure showing Scottish football on TV is particularly beneficial to Scottish football. I wouldn't watch a single second of it if I wasn't a Rangers supporter. People who attend matches should always come first and you never know, attendances might go up if it's never on the box.

  7. Fortunately, RTV is excellent at allowing the worldwide Rangers support to see almost every game. Why would anyone go elsewhere?

  8. Austria couldn't have seen him play, he has played a total of just over 90 minutes of competitive U18 football as a sub.

  9. Hopefully it will be Sands instead of Kamara, who can’t be allowed near the team after last week’sshamefukdisplay.

  10. All fair points, SBG. I don't think there's an ideal scenario - we're stuck in a poor league and situated next to the most popular league in the world. And it is a pain when Sky show several games hardly anyone will watch but then skip our away matches and the Edinburgh derby.

  11. Livingstons stadium will be full, not sure how attendance will go up.

  12. The casual viewer or someone who has already paid for a service including sky sports may not fork out for RTV. I think Scottish football needs all the promotion and coverage it can get. Sky on the other hand prefer not to show it.

  13. Main takeaways: - Raskin, Jack and Goldson all had minor knocks but should be available for Saturday - Lundstram touch and go - Lawrence should return to training in a few weeks - Tillman doing fine after issues of last weekend - Expecting a Tynecastle type performance

  14. Brother, don't ever worry about offending me. I did 25 years in the military. My skin is thicker than a rhino's.

  15. Today, the Scottish Senior Football Referee's Association have called upon the SFA to take action against Celtic after a banner was unveiled slamming Linesman, Douglas Ross. The SSFRA know the SFA have no powers to punish a club whose supporters unveil a banner but, hope a letter to Celtic might reveal what measures the club took to prevent the unveiling and, prevent a repeat. We know because we have seen the footage of Green Brigade members having unfettered access to ra Stade de Gadd, that they create the banners inside the ground's concourses. We know the club sanctions the banners and Police Scotland NEVER see them until they are unveiled. We know a number of Sellik minded Journos are often tipped off to get behind and reinforce the narrative. In this case, BBC Scotland's RAB Cosgrove was most strident. He was congratulatory towards the Green Brigade and gleeful over the message : "VAR decision Douglas Ross is a Cnut". A man giving back to the game. What has PQ got to say about the behaviour of one of their Presenters?
