The manager said yesterday he is happy with the way the transfers are progressing. Would you rather we signed any Tom, Dick or Harry to appease the "supporters" or work hard to ensure we sign the correct players who'll help the manager achieve his goals and the club theirs? Looks like Cantwell is close, we've had an initial bid for the lad from Swansea knocked back (I'm sure there will be some ongoing negotiations there). If we haven't signed anyone after the window closes, then that's the time to question Wilson and / or the board. In the meantime, stick a couple of tinnies in the fridge, relax and enjoy tonight's game.5 points

Killie pies are shite, I'd happily see the name sullied whilst removing walker from the gene pool.5 points

While I’m not at all familiar with dB’s family, I suggest a Kilmarnock last gasp equaliser was much more likely than any unique organ misalignment.4 points

I was just about to post this, Kent was my MOTM but I also thought Sakala had his best game for us, he was less reckless with the ball for a change and was picking his passes better and he was making great runs. Morelos had a stinker 1st half apart from a well taken goal, he played better 2nd half and added another goal4 points

About time that player went. has fouled the whole game. Could have been a straight red.4 points

Not good enough again. To not have reinforced our midfield is really disappointing. Far too many others seem to think hard work at all times optional. Not to mention taking responsibility for their role.4 points

Seems like almost every week our goalkeeping situation is exposed further. If mccrorie is fit, he surely has to get a run of games?4 points

I hate these bloody plastic pitches but they're about what you'd expect in a country that thinks a bloke in a bra is a woman.4 points

After the match tonight I only want new fullbacks, a new midfield pairing, a new striker, a pair of wingers and a creative midfielder. Two centre backs and a goalkeeper are 'nice to have' but we should get them if there is any money left.3 points

Tonight should see the end of McLaughlin tbh. Just doesn’t have it for me. Haste ye back Yilmaz. Beale should have asked Santa for a midfield. When was the last time Tav had a good game?3 points

We've been playing a LOT of trash football throughout and almost conceded a late third had Lafferty's leg been as accurate as Wright's. None of the goals can paper over another mediocre performance ... and far too much pointless ball kicking.3 points

Glad to get the win but that was a mediocre performance. Improvement needed all over the pitch.3 points

Brilliant. He deserved it. Even that referee couldn't deny it.3 points

Thank goodness he messed up his first shot and got another even easier bite 🤪3 points

We're far too nice and sporting for that. Eventually Morelos will get fed up and get sent off.3 points

Nothing in it and Clancy didn't see it - he reacted to the crowd noise3 points

Hearts 4 v 0 Abderdeen - who'd have thought it after Sunday 🙈😉3 points

I’ve changed my mind, can we just get rid of our whole back four and all our keepers in the summer please?3 points

But we haven't been playing with a front 3 under Beale for the most part, but even if we were, the team would suffer from losing the amount of work that Kent does if you moved a Roofe or Morelos out there. We'll suffer if Kent doesn't sign a new contract.3 points

It is time for the law of averages to be our friend. I want a good first half performance manifested in a two or three zip lead. I want no dramas on the drastic plastic. I want our traveling support to sing Rangers songs. I want Andy Walker to choke on a Killie Pie.3 points

No not really, but I was a lot happier at 3-1. I’m just concerned our GK situation is deteriorating and this habit of going behind will cost us sooner or later.2 points

Winning is always the most important thing but we're not playing well, are lacking confidence and need new recruits. Changes need to happen, sooner rather than later.2 points

Napoli are an excellent team this season. Ajax away and Liverpool at home were the two real disappointments. Gio should've been sacked sooner. That's why the league is already gone. Put the fat convict under pressure and watch him sweat.2 points

Too many of our squad are now dining out on 55 and Seville. There's a definite 'job done' vibe about some of them.2 points

I've been wondering something similar. When was the last time he did anything good from open play?2 points

I also think Power got away with a 2nd yellow card in 2nd half - Clancy sh@t it as he'd already sent Killie player off.2 points

Fair point, a wee bit harsh, 'frustrating' is probably a better reflection.2 points

The emerging form and gradual return to fitness of Morelos is the main (only?) positive I’m taking from that.2 points

Armstrong off. Sub' Alfie now, do not give Clancy the opportunity to even this up.2 points

Glad to see anyone called Daniel being sent off. 🤣2 points

Armstrong been kicking everyone but when Morelos gives him a bump it’s a problem2 points

Equally, the wrong couple of bodies could deplete the transfer fund, tie up salaries for years and contribute nothing to the success of the team. It would be better to sign no one than sign the wrong players out of haste.2 points

Agreed, I think Kent has been revitalised under Beale in the 10 slot, with the freedom to roam and pick up the ball in areas he can attack going both ways instead of being stuck on the wing where he is pretty predictable to defend against. I also see Sakala playing mostly under Beale as a twin striker. Sometimes we look like a 4-2-2-2 with Jack & Lundstrum as the 2 sitting, then Tillman & Kent trying to find the spaces in between the opponents packed defence and midfield and operating in behind Alfie & Sakala. We have looked quite narrow at times. Sometimes this works, sometimes not so well, but it is certainly the way it looks from the stands where you get a much better view of our formations than from tv.2 points

We have suffered without Morelos and Bassey We have largely been playing a 4-3-1-2 under Beale. Kent has been playing a number 10 role behind the front 2.2 points
