The difference today was the quality they had on the bench. We had Wright and Sands.5 points

Read elsewhere he’s Tessa Sanderson’s nephew, he’ll be good at long throws.5 points

Weirdly I went along to Ibrox today more concerned on what type of performance we would see rather than worrying about the result. If I'm honest, I was expecting a bad performance and a bad result. This appeared to be on the cards after we gave away a sloppy early goal. I then expected the players heads to drop and for Celtic to run all over us (as they've done at Parkhead recently). So hats of to the players for dragging themselves back into the game, then to get themselves in front. We couldn't see the game out and whilst fingers will be pointed at Beale's subs, players concentration etc, I believe the most important fact is we are short in fit players to bring on from the bench. Whilst I'd have been delighted to walk away with the 3 points, on reflection, the performance was good and result not the worst. As for "turning the corner", I think it's still too early to say either way. We have done well since Beale came in, but the manager has said there is still a long way to go. Getting players back fit and getting a couple of signings in January will help. What I will say, under the previous manager, we may have won the previous four league games (but probably wouldn't have) but we would not have gotten a point today, we'd have been heavily beaten.4 points

The fact that we're all disappointed with a draw, despite playing so poorly for part of the game, is a huge positive.4 points

I do like his honesty and for the first time in a while it at least feels like he's watching the same game as us. I definitely get the feeling he can see everything that needs to change and is wanting to do something about it. WIth Gio I was never sure how much he was trying to paint a positive picture while knowing we were in a bit of a mess, or if he was genuinely quite happy with how we were playing so long as were getting results. If only we'd held-on today, that would have been five wins out of 5 and we'd have cut the gap. I'm still very optimistic for the future under Beale though.3 points

Tav’s defensive weaknesses usually result in at least one good chance for the opposition in a match and often contribute to indecision in our back line. I know the RB position is a WB position these days, but we are just far too easily beaten down the flanks time and time again. Long balls over the top or balls inside our WB… or just our inability to deal with balls into the box from long, wide, corners etc. Its been like this for so long it’s genuinely baffling that no manager seems to see it or think it’s worth sorting. I was another who was willing to give Sands a pass as he’s been played out of position & in a team low on confidence, but wtf was he doing today.3 points
-
I think it’s clear Beale has had an impact. That was clear before today, but even more so now. It doesn’t change the fact that I feel totally gutted that we have let an big opportunity to beat them slip through our fingers though.3 points

I've got to say, so far Beale has done more than I believed he would. We at least look like a football team now. Not disparaging towards Beale, just he has lifted this flagging squad into something that can compete. Injecting belief and confidence will take a long time.3 points

That’s as depressing a finish as I’ve seen in a long time… I think its the hope that gets you. I really hope we move on from a few players in the summer who just aren’t good enough across a season or in the big games. Thanks for the memories McGregor, Borna and Tav, but we need a much better defence, not just in Europe, but in Scotland.3 points
-
It’s a whole team thing. The movement of the whole team isn’t there. Watch Celtic and they’ve been properly coached, they know the pass they want to play before they receive it and they are working for each other so they always have options. We look like we are just improvising all the time.3 points

I noticed the other day in the news that Katie Price claimed to have the biggest tits in the country I would bet our lot could give her a run for that title.3 points

Events on my continental drift cam moved significantly faster than our official and unofficial transfer activities so far, but perhaps all will pick up some pace. I reckon that quite a bit is being done behind the scenes, how much of that will turn into deals remains to be seen. Might well be that we will add some loans with option to buy in January, not least since the contracts of quite a few players run out this summer. So regarding this Wolves chap, we have to remember that Helander and Souttar are still out (and no-one knows how long any of them will play if they are back, as they have not been playing for some time).3 points

I learned almost nothing about our players that I didn't already know. What I did take from the game today is that we've spent the season making Celtic look far better than they really are ... and that Mick Beale looks like being the right choice of manager after all.2 points

I think Bill summed up my feelings. We were poor first half but could easily have gone in level. To then go in front early in the second half was almost unbelievable. Was really gutted not to see it out, but it is a lot more like it from us. Couple of lucky breaks for the equaliser too. The building blocks are getting put in place i think. Out of the two Americans - pay the money for Tillman but not Sands2 points

Came home from game feeling we had actually lost due tothe gift of their 2nd goal but happier with our effort. Seems to me most of the posts on here were from armchair pundits who were not at/able to attend the game. Agree with all regards Tav/Kamara and to a certain extent Borna. Regards Alfie he bullied and harried their defence all day and Kent took his usual amount of fouls on him with cheatin Beaton doing nothing. At the end as I say I was gutted but seen more than a glimmer that Beale is heading us in the right direction. Surely the Sands of time have run out for this American not worth paying a fee for.2 points

Not at all surprising that most of this squad have little left to give the club. Not enough energy, spark or enough quality. Forget the League, this squad were never going to win it. We can focus on the Cups and should be looking to give the likes of Lowry and Devine extended runs in the league (Tav needs to sort out his injury issues). Beale can't be properly judged with this group of players. He has injected a degree of commitment and determination although that only seems to kick in after going behind and was certainly absent in the first 20-30 minutes today. We have gone behind in three of the five league games since the WC. On top of the bleeding obvious, we need a centre forward. I'm sick of the sight of Morelos and Roofe can't be relied upon.2 points
-
Morelos has got to be out this window surely. I think he will struggle if he moves to a bigger league, not many teams will put up with his fitness and attitude.2 points
-
Great penalty, but wasn't quite enough to atone for his powderpuff effort in the lead up to their first goal.2 points
-
That was so frustrating. They weren’t creating anything and yet you knew they’d score. I don’t think we are good enough to win the league, and yet if we’d held on you could allow yourself just to hope a good transfer window could turn things around.2 points

if we create the same number of chances in the second half with Colak on, we could get a result.2 points

Another Old Firm game where we seem to have no belief. With the crowd's backing/frustration we did start to get ourselves into the game and should really be level. Just can't account for losing such a poor, poor goal. All to play for but we must play with a lot more confidence.2 points

If Colak is anywhere near able to walk, get him on at HT. Alfredo is back to his one-goal-in5+ shots per game ratio.2 points

Took us 30 mins to get going, but the end product is still terrible. Too many passengers still.2 points

Nothing new here, but you know what is fundamentally wrong if Kamara appears on the left attacking side or is playing triangles at short distances with 3 Yahoos about ...2 points

That flag is upside down: a distress signal, if memory serves, so perhaps appropriate come half two or thereabouts tomorrow. (The broad white stripe should be seen to the top, nearest the pole.)2 points

Yip - to many fans "fixated" with the subs rather than the real issue. That is we conceded two very poor goals today and that's what caused us not to win the game.1 point

There's a case to be made that, while recent recruitment has been a huge failure, the root of it has been poor judgement when it comes to selling. Too often we've missed opportunities to cash in on players who could have funded better signings, only for those players to wither and end up as unsellable passengers ... Kamara and Morelos being two good examples.1 point

Disagree, even if the ball did hit his hands, his hands were in front of his body, so wasn't making his body bigger. Was the correct decision.1 point

Or take a shot or slip someone in. He makes it difficult for himself.1 point

Going to state the obvious here, but we need another goal.1 point

Cheating Beaton has let everything go!!, seems it pays to pressure the refs in the build up to these games1 point

That's what is frustrating me: if we were anywhere near what we're capable of, we'd be winning. We're only one behind after being so poor.1 point

Why can't we make a simple 5-yard pass? It's inexplicable.1 point

Rangers need to be brave and not attempt to play the counter. Rangers need to throw a stick in their spokes from jump. Attack attack...that is the only way to play them.1 point

No match thread? Are we all hiding behind the couch... ?1 point

It probably has something to do with the flares at the UB 15th anniversary game (against Hibs). Gave the Police an excuse to step in and the club have not bothered to stand up for the fans. Amazing what that lot get away with (sectarian effigies, IRA sloganeering etc.), whilst we get shafted time and time again. Welcome to modern Scotland.1 point

I usually accept a draw at the Piggery. At Ibrox, only a win is ever acceptable. They have a manager who can't make eye contact. That's just a starting point on their general disgustingness. Kick off with the right attitude and we can beat them. They're no great shakes, despite what their cheerleaders claim.1 point
