  1. Its easy to belittle these people but many Rangers fans were the same when Gerrard left. There is no loyalty in football. If Beale does bad we will bin him off when it suits us. If he does wellhe will probably leave us go down south again when suits him. That's football.

  2. Seriously, we have been in court so often this last decade; I suspect the defensive side of the court is known as the Rangers end?

  3. Before leaving of their own volition they had won the league in an invincible league season and were 6 points clear at the top of the table. Cup results were dismal but I dont think they can be labeled a failure.

  7. Call me old fashioned but a singing section should be in the Rangers end, the Copland Road stand*. I'd put them wherever they want, as long as they agree to ditch that ****ing drum. *AKA the library

  8. Only a few points collected from the latest two games, but we're getting smooshed together. CRO-BEL: Rousseau, Mal, Franc, Lenny, Ted, WB91 and TB with the Correct Result, with Ted getting the Correct Score. CAN-MOR: Gonzo, Yorkie, Mal, Compo, Onevision, Dado, Stewarty, Lenny, Ted, and BEARGER got the Correct Result, with Mal and Onevision getting the Correct Score. No JOKERs in play. Latest Standings:

  10. Just get Beale to throw him some xG's and xA's in his next presser and Rousseau will be all in

  11. The tournament organisers must be trying to recoup some of the money lost judging by the number of empty seats at games😀

  12. I wonder if they have a football club, where they wave Welsh flags and sing Welsh songs and generally get on the nerves of the indigenous population. Looks like Argentina might be a force at this WC after all. I still think France will win it.

  14. Watched a full ninety + minutes Argentina v Poland. Some old-style, intricate and high speed Argentine footwork in and around the penalty area. Should have scored five or six. The “foul” on Messi was never a penalty. Justice done when the ‘keeper saved it. Apart from that, I don’t know what Poland were doing. If the strategy were to avoid yellow cards, it worked. Formation back pedalling with almost zero engagement. Opening goal scored by a chap with the traditional Gaucho name of Mac Allister. Shades of Babbington and Houseman of old.

  15. I read that Houston receives a salary from C1872. He was previously employed by the club, I believe, presumably under King's watch, so perhaps he's bitter about losing his job? Not 100% sure about my facts on this, but it's just what I've read online. It does appear that C1872 value their relationship with King higher than their relationship with the club.

  16. Yeah find it difficult for anyone to justifiably blame the fans for this. Just clusterfcuk number 3326 from the board.

  17. Beale has been in the door for 5 minutes and buster is worrying about alignment with the board. It is not possible to take that seriously. I feel very positive about the finances. Not perfect but I think that we are in a better position than we have been for a very long time. Experts might correct me. Either way we will be in an even better position when we free up the wage donated to Morelos, Helander et al. As pointed out elsewhere the act of managing expectations has zero purpose when dealing with football supporters. We will be happy if we win and angry if we lose. The idea that this will change if only we had some 'communication' is a very silly fairy story. Finally he makes a bizarre plea for leadership. In my estimation leadership has little to do with acting on the endless stream of irrational complaints that will come from any support. Again it is impossible to take stuff like this seriously. Almost every time that an opportunity to take responsibility emerges, in the form of shares, you will hear little above the cacophony of excuses.

  19. Beale's first month of competitive action now looks like; Hibs (H) Aberdeen (A) Ross County (A) Motherwell (H) Bheasts (H) Dundee Utd (A) Aberdeen (SF) Kilmarnock (A) St Johnstone (Cup A) Bloody hell that is a tough run of games for anyone never mind a young inexperienced manager. He will either be seen as the messiah or busted flush within a month. Welcome to Rangers! Also worth noticing that there is not one Saturday game in that run either, with games on a Thursday, Tuesday, Friday, Wednesday, Monday, Sunday, Sunday, Wednesday and TBA but prob Sunday. So every day of the week apart from football day!

  20. Very tricky and just six days after we face Aberdeen at Hampden in the League Cup semi-final. Will be an important week very early in Beale's reign.

  21. Weather gonna probably be epic as well. Driving rain...wind...a pitch like frozen Jello...Johnstone constructing a Maginot Line of frozen trogs. Rangers by four.

  22. No but you could visit one of the local slop houses and sit with a pint and kiss and cuddle a boyfriend if you were that way inclined without fear of the jail I remember seeing a man being flogged in Saudi because he was a homo it wasn't nice .

  23. Can’t work up much enthusiasm. England will win easily, as is their right, if you believe the media. Selfishly I’d rather they were put out early on so I don’t have to watch or listen to the cluelessly demented but that’s unfair to English football supporters who go faithfully to their clubs’ matches home and away. South Americans usually produce some exciting stuff. Are Brazil and Argentina any good? I don’t even know the bookies’ favourites.
