So, Barrie MacKay, Liam Henderson, Liam Kelly. I don't know what they do to the fhilth, but, by God, they frighten me. Someone trolling, surely.3 points

Not averse to McKay but that three options are lazy options. Kelly nowhere good enough if that's who we are seriously looking at for No1 then we're f*&ked.3 points

He's never going to live that comment down, especially when Rangers are dropping points to Livingston, St Johnstone and St Mirren. Ridiculous thing for a Rangers manager to say.3 points

It'd be nearly as unusual as paying attention to Tweets by people looking for attention. There'll be no press conference tomorrow but the Tweeter will get new listeners on his Podcast.2 points

Looks like Graham Potter might be available soon 🤷♂️😀 Shows changing the manager doesn't always guarantee an upturn in fortunes.2 points

Taking away the finacial aspect, given the relatively short time Gio has been manager, what the board do during the winter-break is crucial for our medium-term future. No matter If they truly believe Gio is the man to take us forward, or they decide ti sack him, they need to significantly back whoever is in charge during the January transfer window. Waiting until the end of the season to make the cull (on and off the pitch) will render next season pointless as well. However, sticking or twisting now is a major gamble either way. What we need is stability, not changing the manager every 12 - 18 months. Huge decisions for the board, but are they capable of making them? For me, they'll sit tight and hope and pray Gio can turn it around with little or no funding.2 points

You really have an axe to grind against Ross Wilson - or, I suspect, a DoF in general. Who got a 4-year deal in their 30's? It's entirely normal for older or longer serving players to have the largest salaries. The only one that really annoys me is Matondo (if it's true). It's ridiculous to give a young, untested player that much.1 point

If these figures are true(the Rangers ones) then our DoF has a lot of questions to answer. Too many older players with no sell on value earning too much money. Giving players in their thirties 4 year deals makes no sense1 point

Said at the time it was a shocker and that clip confirmed it....compliance officer?1 point

Missed that challenge (and their goal), but from the looks of it, a clear red card.1 point

I don't like the 4-2-3-1. Well - It's alright. It depends how you use it. Nagelsmann uses it very offensively; someone like Benitez has everyone behind the ball and bores you to death. We didn't line up in a 4-2-3-1 under SG, it was a 4-3-2-1, with two #10s and no wingers. Formations are largely irrelevant in the modern game. I agree with your second point. If you have two players to play midfield, one for the holding role, one to play a little more offensive, I don't understand why GvB would pick Lundstram for the holding role and Kamara for the attacking role? I would have thought that, to be honest. Our xG barely limps past 1 per game. We just don't create chances, never mind take them. St Mirren had a higher xG than us, and that's with a penalty!1 point

The lack of proper investment in the side since we won the league is the main reason we're in the position we find ourselves now. It's the reason Gerrard left too. To an extent GVB is carrying the can for the boards failures and this shouldn't be overlooked but at the same time our manager has failed to get to grips with scottish football. Injuries haven't been kind to him, our squad are dropping like flies. Over the piece though our general gameplay has left a lot to be desired and we're now at a point we're the fans have no faith in our manager. The capitulation in the Champions league before a ball was kicked and the spineless performances at the scum dome have left deep scars will take an eternity to repair. Now we're struggling to beat anyone. There is no way back for Gio. As for the board... they have seriously dropped the ball and set us back years. The good work that had been done since our return to the top flight is now a distant memory and we now find ourselves back to the drawing board. As much as I feel that the job is too big for our manager the same can be said about others behind the scenes and in the board room. Heads should roll there too.1 point

I wonder how many senior pros are fit to pic a team from now? I wonder how many of the players who are running down their contracts you Bears would want to re-sign? I wonder how many of you Bears would want to retain the services of the current DOF? I wonder how many of you Bears feel like the manager has had a fair level of support from the board? For me the answers are - not enough, none, not me, no.1 point

I'm not sure about that. Some do, some don't. I'm a great believer in altering how you play depending on the opposition. I'd go all out attack against all the Scottish diddy teams and at home to the scum but be far more defensive against Euro opponents and at the Piggery. I think GvB changes things far more often than SG or Warburton did but he's just a poor manager and the players aren't buying into his ideas.1 point

Rodgers looked a goner at Leicester not so long ago. However they stuck with him & he’s won again today. Moyes at West Ham now looks in most trouble My own view on the GvB situation is not to get rid off a manager until you’ve got his successor identified. Our previous on this has not always been great i.e. Pedro & Warburton1 point

Newcastle beat Chelsea (as most teams seem to do) 1-0 to go third! City lose at home to Brentford. Obviously City can’t compete against clubs with the massive resources of Brentford.1 point

Not sacking him will be more to do with finance than delusion. GvB has probably achieved most of the objectives set for him (Euro run and subsequent CL qualification). I think he'll still be in charge when the scum turn up and beat us in January, unfortunately.1 point

I suspect his defence will be "but it can't be sectarian cause I'm a Proddy too". I've some sympathy for the posters who are neither offended by the phrase nor see much point in escalating the tit for tat 'I'm pure offended' that often dominates online discourse. Like all words the person using them and the tone in which they are delivered makes a huge difference to that word's meaning, whether intended or not. As Ascender says up thread being called a 'hun' by a friend or acquaintance in a friendly conversation rarely causes any offence and neither is it meant too. However a complete stranger shouting Kill All Huns at you on a dark night might elicit a different response, and again I suspect that would be deliberate. I imagine this Aberdeen fan's defence will be along the lines that he feels 'hun' has no sectarian meaning, to him it's simply a derogatory term for Rangers supporters. I also suspect he'll be able to show numerous examples of this, maybe he'll ask Stuart Cosgrove to give evidence in his defence, it's a term he's used a bit in the past after all. It'll be an interesting defence and assumes that bringing a banner saying 'kill all Rangers fans' to a ground holding nearly 50,000 Rangers fans is otherwise perfectly acceptable behaviour of course. From a personal perspective, like all of us, I've been called a hun on numerous occasions. Often it was jocular and delivered by someone I knew, no offence was meant and none was taken. On others I was fairly sure the person was intending to insult or intimidate me, it was meant aggressively. Sometimes it was said in my company by someone who forgot I was there and their reaction when they realised I'd heard was often telling as to their intention and meaning. I'd a girlfriend many years ago who described me as a 'practicing hun' to members of her family when the subject of football inevitably came up. That relationship wasn't destined to last. The meaning of words changes. That's simply a fact about the English language. No matter how much we might wish it otherwise, the meaning behind how we say something, or these days type something, isn't always the meaning that someone reading it will take. On a return trip to Belfast a few years ago I noticed the term 'KAH' sprayed close an intersection where Unionist and Nationalist areas joined. Graffiti and murals have long been used in Belfast to designate territory and I found them a very helpful navigation aid when I first moved there. For those unaware KAH stands for 'Kill All Huns', and it was sprayed as a territorial marker, letting everyone know what area you were entering. Do we think the person responsible meant 'Rangers supporters' when they left that mark? We can only speculate, but personally I'm in no doubt at all that in that context it meant 'Protestant' or at the very least 'Unionist', although those terms are often interchangeable. Whatever that Aberdeen fan's intention, it's naive in the extreme to think that some people who use that word don't see it as a derogatory catch all term for Protestants. Like a number of other words that were once fairly commonly used it's probably advisable to avoid using it at all now.1 point

The 33 year old will appear in court, confirm his name and address then, plead Not Guilty. He will be given a date several weeks hence for trial. In the meantime, the PF Office will lose all the gathered evidence and when the 33 year old traps again at the court, his case will be dismissed. The current Justice Minister, Keith Brown will instigate a full investigation and, promise to publish the findings. Five years past, six Yahoos were charged with hanging two effigies from the north stand roof at Sellik park. One effigy was replete in a Rangers scarf, the other wore an orange collarette; both had their hands tied behind their backs. The effigies(strange fruit) twisted in the breeze until nearly half time during the game. Below the effigies, a dozen flags flew, all proclaiming KAH(Kill All H-u-ns). They appeared in court, registered pleas of Not Guilty and when re-appeared several weeks later, the PF Office dropped all charges because ALL EVIDENCE had been lost. The then Justice Minister, Humza Yousaf promised a full investigation and to publish the findings. To this day, the report has NOT been published. I suspect the CalMac Ferries on the stocks at Fergusons Yard in Port Glasgow will be sailing, plying for lifeline island trade before the report is published? The 33 year old Aberdonian has nothing to worry about.1 point
