  1. It's difficult to say how good he was or wasn't at his job. He was probably acting within the guidelines set out for him, and while many may think he should be acting in a different manner, perhaps that wasn't in his remit. It's interesting to note that his religious beliefs are highlighted in the article. I doubt that they would have been mentioned if he was of any other religion, and wonder why that is of importance to the Express.

  2. I think gunslinger was referring to the CL results (4, 3 and then 2-0), as a result of buster's comment.

  3. True. Two relaxing 4-0s make a pleasant change from nervous 1-0s.

  4. Since qualifying for CL, we haven't laid a glove on any decent opposition. Cumulative 0-13 in 4 games. The players believe they can beat provincial clubs in Scotland but don't seem to carry that belief into bigger challenges. You could argue Napoli at Ibrox was better than the rest, so maybe it is in part down to the negative approach to difficult away games. Negative rather than pragmatic. For example, under WS there was an organised and pragmatic approach that players bought into.

  6. As a WBA "fan", has to be Dyche for me.

  7. Also, domestically, over the period since our last loss, our main rivals have gone from scudding everyone out of the park, to one loss and two narrow wins - the most recent relying on an OG and a last gasp winner. I think it's fair to say we're coping with the midweek CL games better than they are. I'm hopeful we can take the lead before the winter shut down.

  11. I've voted for Sakala because he's been left in the lurch for a while but still shows great enthusiasm when he gets his chance, as well as creating and scoring - both of which we need.

  12. Has to be Colak but good to see several players do the business with McGregor, Goldson, Lundstram and Sakala all on form for me. Nice cameo from Yilmaz as well.

  13. Colak for me, Goldson strolled it as well and has been pretty consistent recently

  16. Colak 1st goal, Won a pen for the second and a great bit of play for the 3rd. All day for me.

  17. Colak for me. Goldson looks much better with a strong partner. As he always has in fairness. Sakala started slow but had a fine second half. Lundstrum ran the show and dictated a good tempo. Yilmaz decent cameo.

  18. Normally I'd vote for the man that scored the two goals, especially as the second was sublime! However, I voted Sakala for his contributions, the goal was very well taken, but more for the initiative he took to run right through the middle and find Colak. Probably his best game in a Rangers shirt. We need more of that from him, and if he can deliver he will nail down a place in this team.

  19. Sorry to hear his reasons for resigning but he was too ‘low profile’ for me. We need someone who openly confronts the Rangers-hating pond life in the Scottish mhedia
