I was bored at Ibrox today! when you see teams like Kilmarnock it enhances how pish Scottish football is! we were very ponderous today, square passes all the time! why do we just seem to struggle through matches? we need to play with more tempo/aggression/intensity. Our players always look like they are sluggish, we really do need to get into a rhythm and quickly.4 points

Spoke directly to the TV licence people and openly stated I don't watch any BBC out put and don't watch any live TV. They then provided me with a letter stating that I didn't require a licence. Why pay 150 a year for something I never use?3 points

Or Morelos, Lundstrum, Jack, Bassey to name a few of the more recent roster of players.2 points

When Tillman can offer more than 60 minutes at a time he will surely get many motm awards.2 points

USG are crap. We did one Hell of a job making them look average. Quite something.2 points

I'm not sure we've seen it from him yet, but I feel that Yilmas will also likely try to beat his man versus passing back (which we see too much of from Borna).1 point

Sorry about that. I try to keep the inner pedant under strict control but it’s a wild beast and breaks out from time to time. Should be ok now for a week or two.1 point

Ok, I'll bite..... I like / rate Borna, always have but he is a confidence player. When he is confident he plays well. His crosses have led to numerous goals in important games. However, he has his defensive lapses. Borna's strengths are hugging the touchline and giving us width and an outlet on the left and whipping crosses into the box (he can do this from bye-line or from distance). What I noticed yesterday was Yilmaz can go and looks comfortable, either wide, but also cutting inside which gave Lawrence more space out wide. For a small player, up against a much taller opponent he did win his fair share of headers. Wasn't the greatest league debut I can remember but certainly wasn't the worst.1 point

Thanks but I wasn't guided by any one else's post, was just interested in your 1st impressions of 3 players who went on to be Rangers legends after having difficult starts to their Rangers careers. Anyway, asked and answered.1 point

We're you around when Ally Mccoist, Mark Hateley or Andy Goram first signed for the club? If you were, what we're your 1st impressions of them?1 point

I would say that judging a player who has literally just arrived in the country, who doesn't know his team mates, may not speak English, who is thrown into a somewhat dysfunctional team (at the moment), after 60 minutes of football is very rash indeed.1 point

And we were miles of that level when we played Malmo. Its because its early in the season. Without checking back, I doubt many on here predicted a Europa League final when we lost to Malmo.1 point

Reports on today's U14's and U16's games against Livingston. https://rfcyouths.wordpress.com/2022/08/07/livingston-double-header/1 point

For a moment, I thought you were seriously assessing this new player on his first 60 minutes against a team that had little interest in getting over the half way line?1 point

Did you notice that If the linesman had kept up with play the injury wouldn't have happened as the ball had already gone out of play by at least 2 feet. The game carried on and he had to make that tackle. I think the player and Everton deserve an explanation.1 point

The burden of proof is on them to prove I use this service not me to disprove it. Had a similar situation with the post office when I told them to stop putting unaddressed mail in my letter box, was told I had to apply to the post master to opt out of something I never opted into. The only unaddressed mail I receive now is from the snp who seem to ignore the sign on my door, they're next on my list.1 point

Kilmarnock like Livingston last week had no intention of playing football. The fact that their defender was trying to waste time midway through the first half just confirmed it. I can’t ever remember teams being this negative during the 90s or early 00s. Domestic games are quickly becoming horrible to watch.1 point

Going to have to step up a few levels on Tuesday. Thought we were very pedestrian again in the first half. Really need to vary it more against teams who just park the bus. At least we had a few shots I suppose.1 point

They looked very good i thought. Still need to replace Xakha a total liability. Villa beaten by Bournemouth. Spent a bit at the start of the summer then just never bought anyone else. They need a quality striker or lower table fun awaits.1 point

First half was so tentative but we picked up in the second half and there were some signs of improvement which is all we can expect with so many changes. Tillman and Lawrence looked good, Yilmaz looked shell shocked and Matondo showed promise. Steven Davis was a steadying influence and never put a foot wrong. Tavernier and Goldson in particular looked terrified at any sign of pressure. It was great to see Alfie back and scoring and Colak too. Overall I am satisfied with the improvement and things look more positive today. We need more games for things to gel.1 point

Cracking goal to be fair, but doesnt do it regularly enough and nowhere near good enough for us, despite the shambles the other night1 point

There is real ability in there and it wouldn't surprise me if he were to do very well with Dundee United. His corner kick/set-play delivery is excellent. #sell-on25%1 point

Aye, there was certainly a lot of potential there but I think the lad seemed to struggle with the defensive side which pushed him towards the exit door. Good luck to him!1 point
