I haven't watched, or listened to, more than a few minutes of BBC Sport Scotland in years. From what I can gather, from reading on-line observations, and from comments of friends/acquaintances, its output is far from "drivel". What is described is, for the most part, too studied, and too infused with malice, to qualify for this accolade. It seems , almost, to approach the sinister. There is an agenda, which is nothing new, and I expect little or no change for the foreseeable future.3 points

We shouldn't speak ill of the departed. He was a solid servant to the club. The club served him, and he enriched the club in the end. God bless him, and may he always find success against others.3 points

These last eleven years, the Ghost aka Ian Bankier has been the Chair of ra Sellik. He announced today that he intends to leave his designation on the 1st January'23. A Lawyer who worked mostly in the whisky industry, was plucked by Dermot Desmond to provide a buffer between himself and the rabid Yahoos. Ian took the job as Chairman in 2012 and stood up at the AGM to inform those attending that he attended a denominational school. Ian was cheered to the echo. Ian has not been overly taxed by his workload, ra Sellik Trust revealed his salary last year. He attended seven Board meetings and trousered in excess of £70,000. After winning 12 domestic trophies in a row, Bankier told the AGM two years past that the club intended to target Referees because, the Board felt they had not been treated as other SPFL clubs. Last year, Bankier criticised the Scottish Government; again, because ra Sellik had not received fair treatment during the Lockdowns. The shortlist of possible replacements include : Martin Compston - knows all the lyrics to all the hate filled songs. (Pray for)Neil Lennon - a real Sellik man. Tom Boyd - a Daftie but a green, white and, gold Daftie. Tommy Sheridan - a Sellik Swinger. Phil McFournames - a Yahoo who put the bile in Baillieston.1 point

The only realistic choice is Tavernier. Lundstram, Goldson and Kent also had a decent game. No one else stood out.1 point

Well it must have had an impact. I watched the Sunday edition tonight online and all those points listed were covered by Jonathan Sutherland with Marvin Bartley.1 point

Tav for me too, another accomplished performance and a sublime winner. Of the rest Arfield and Tillman made game-changing contributions. Of the new guys, Souttar had a debut to forget, Lawrence couldn’t get into the game much, Tillman looks very clever with good quick feet, and Colak was starved of service but took his one chance really well only for yet another officiating error to deny him.1 point

That was a super read. Exactly what you will never get from a Scottish rag.1 point

Sportscene was at it's usual nonsense last night with their bias analysis, omitting most of the controversial moments in the match such as Livi LB 1st booking & 2nd foul which should have seen him sent off and the fact the Livi manager subbed him! no mention of the Colak goal that was wrongly chopped off. Just a continuation of their drivel.1 point

He's strolling this match just now. Bassey has the potential to go as far as possible in the game1 point

Hately got around 115 goals for us. If my arithmetic is good, I think it is Morelos who is close to overtaking Hateley, with 112. Derek Parlane 111 Alfredo Morelos 112 Mark Hateley 115 Kenny Miller 116 John Greig 120 Not impossible that Tav could eventually catch John Greig's 120.1 point

Age has nothing to do with it, for me. McGregor is the better shot-stopper. McLaughlin is better with his feet, his distribution and his command of the box. As a team, Rangers need the latter over the former, IMO.1 point

Colaks goal being ruled out was an absolute disgrace. Glad we managed to dig out the win despite that, shows real character.1 point

I'd agree with the previous comments. Bassey was a boy learning his game and Lundstrum was initially played in formations that didn't suit him. Neither had issues because they were at Rangers. Souttar has had 3 bad games in a row. I'm not sure if it's because he's playing on the left, he's not fully fit/match fit, personal issues, the weight of the jersey or something inherent in his game, all of which I've seen suggested. He shouldn't be written off but he needs to sort out whatever the issue is and hopefully we'll see him at the top of his game. He definitely needs games, but I don't want him starting on Tuesday. It's too big a game to risk playing someone as off form.1 point

I can’t say I was majorly impressed with any of our new signings, it took the old guard to dig us out of this one. Exception was perhaps Colak who was hard done by with the offside. Still though, it’s a shite pitch that we’ve always struggled with so I’ll forget about it and look forward to the next game.1 point

He speaks truths, if people can't handle that, then they can, to steal a Scots phrase..."Get Tae"1 point

It's not like Rangers fans to write of a player after seeing them for about 3 seconds.1 point

I think it has more to do with his inability to command his box and the blatant errors he made last season.1 point

Souttar doesn't get time to settle in? Some folk are on cloud cuckoo land. Maybe we should've binned Hateley and McCoist after their first few games too.1 point

The away draws to Aberdeen, Ross County spring to mind. Draws in these games essentially handed the momentum to Celtic going into a crucial OF game.1 point
