  1. Nah, the really funny bit is you thinking you can mix black and white and still get black and white. We all know you get grey ... which is neither one thing nor the other. We also know how hard you have to press your one-size-fits-all spectrum because otherwise you might show how compromised you have to be where this issue is concerned. But it's always Scottish nationalism first eh?

  3. I have never got involved in these dedates as i believe everyone to their own and all that but never ever say that the Rangers are just a football club mate....we all know they are more, much more than just a football club.🤨

  4. That Columbian Cassiera chap is going from Sochi to Zenit, so one off the list.

  5. Correct. It's strictly one or the other. Unless there's a hefty element of pretence and deceit involved.

  6. As someone who takes a pew every week, I think the CoS becoming a "broad church" is way down the list of reasons for pews being empty.

  7. He's a scotch nationalist so cannot possibly be a Rangers fan. He pretends to be for his own mercenary reasons just like every other seditious attention seeking imposter claiming to be a bear whilst championing the jock republicans and their IRA comrades.

  9. Not a household name, but Fremad Amager played their one and only ever European tie in a competition that Rangers were the holders, the ECWC of 72/73. We were unable to defend the trophy for well documented reasons. Hibs did play in it and reached the quarters and had players who scored hat-tricks in all three rounds played. Including in a 6-1 victory at Easter Road against Sporting Lisbon. The days Scottish provincial sides were relatively decent. In 1972, Scottish clubs were top performers in European co-efficient terms (numero uno). https://kassiesa.net/uefa/data/method1/ccoef1972.html Still on 72/73, the then high flying Leeds Utd struggled to beat the Turks, Ankaragucu by a single goal in the same competition. The following season on our return, we got Ankaragucu in the first round and hammered them 6-0 on aggregate. In the same round Borussia MG of Netzer and Heynckes score 16 and would go on to beat us in the second round. Peter Lovenkrands scored the goal against Inter Milan to take us to the KO stages of the CL. IIRC he went on a prolific scoring run around about that time which were the last 6 months of his contract. He would go on to score in both legs in the last 16 tie against Villareal, a team we have drawn against in each of the 4 times we have played them.

  10. Because it was out and out saying come spend and other than the rip-off prices of the tops, which did not feel like quality, there was nothing in way of other merchandise for my grandson to look at.

  12. Scottish nationalists can also be Rangers fans. I've never heard McFarlane claim he's a bear, he's pretty open that he's a Hibs fan.

  13. Rangers is a broad church, we don't, and are not forced to, all think the same way. It's one of the many things that make us great. Other clubs may differ.

  14. I quite like the Rangers review, Derek Clarke and Joshua Barrie love football, know all about the game in general. Seem like they enjoy it and seem to attend loads of games wherever possible. I like Clifford and the other lad they have on from H&H at times (bald lad cant recall his name). But McFarlane is a grifter. Barely goes to games. Didn't go to Seville or even any of the big euro away games. Lacks any real general football knowledge (he thought Man U signed Bruno Fernandes from Benfica ffs) and was openly a hibs fan for years. He seems to be the head Rangers guy at the RR but adds the least value. I'll continue to enjoy the free content where he is not involved but I'll never subscribe as its herald group ran. But also because of McFarlane.

  15. IMHO, Colak is an option. There is also talk of a striker from Holland, Thijs Dallinga. We need options, as we have seen in the run in top the cup finals. ANd IMHO, we also get away from this one-striker thing, unless we have capable goal-scorers in the front line, which we don`t. Mainly because we just play one striker and a couple of non-scoring wingers. Nothing new. There are also murmurs that we might take on Diallo again, perhaps with an option to buy. The chap can play, but needs to be utilized better.

  16. If it was to replace Alfredo, then I think we'd need someone better. To complement him, fine. He scored 2 in 4 minutes at Ibrox, then didn't score another in the 6 group games. Having played all but 39 minutes of them. (Malmö managed one goal in the six games: Juve/Chelsea &Zenit)

  17. 2 million sounds like good value for Colak. Maybe we have someone better lined up.

  20. I see that the National Party XI scored a loin stirring victory over a 10 man (then a 9 man) Armenian side, a whole 92nd in the FIFA rankings, btw, in Yerevan, ie away from home. Clarke is a hero, all is right with the world, and the countrylooks forward eagerly to the World Cup in November, where there are scalps to be taken. What? Clarke fucked up qualification? Say it ain't so, bro!
