Just watched the clown that is Jonny McFarlane yet again rubbish our players and their values , why this absolute idiot gets minutes on social media and YouTube is beyond me , he’s an absolute joke of a so called fan , really disappointed in stevie Clifford not calling him out on this . That he uses Bruno fernandez as a special player , Jesus h Christ .3 points

Not really. If you said it two months ago and he’s still here, that’s not “going soon”.😉3 points

The Diallo rumour is an interesting one. It seemed to take him months to understand where he was when he signed. Suddenly, when he was about to leave, he appeared to switch on a little. If this is a serious option then at least Wilson and GvB go in with their eyes fully open in terms of his ability and character. He could be can absolute star in the making but only time will ever tell that story.2 points

You posted that on the same minute Compo is typing about 5XL size on Home Shirt thread Are Castore tied in with or coordinating offer with new caterers? 😄2 points

So they think young Mayo is worth another contract then loan him to killie I trust they are paying his wage on full if he's worth a contract he's worth a chance in the first team ,no such thing as to young2 points

At 22 years old, it is now or never. At 19, Ajer went on loan to Kilmarnock. Played regularly for six months, returned to Celtic, was a first team player for 4 seasons then was sold for around 14 million pounds. Note. They paid around 500,000 to buy into system. That is what we need to start doing on a relatively regular basis.2 points

The Castore sizing isn't that accurate. I had to go up 2 sizes for last season's strips. I believe it's only 1 size for this year's though.1 point

I've never really understood the desire to eat at the football. 3pm kick offs are after lunch and before tea and evening kick offs are after tea time. Midday kick offs maybe...1 point

Going to get it at some point but going on holiday next week so if i order it online it wont be here on time. Castore have not mastered next day delivery. Not sure why they couldn't have a Glasgow based distribution bub for short term new kit launches. Its not exactly rocket science. They will have a rough idea of how much they will sell after the past couple of years. Ho hum.1 point

I wish they would ditch the lycra. Only looks good on someone without an inch of fat on them.1 point

I didn't think the age profile on here would place much importance on the subtle differences of the playing kit from season to season. Guess it means a break from the transfer thread !! How many on here actually buy and wear the top ? Can't remember the last time I bought a football top. Probably the late 70's1 point

I'm indifferent, we've had better and we've had worse 🤣 The sleeve sponsor just seems to take most of the attention1 point

I am a big fan of Kamara, but he doesn't quite have a position in GvB's team. Even so, we need to be selling our assets once they've been developed. He could play a similar role to the recently departed Yves Bissouma.1 point

https://www.90min.com/posts/brighton-interested-in-rangers-ace-glen-kamara Hasn't really played to his potential under Gio so wouldn't be too upset to see him moved on.1 point

You're not alone. It was a great achievement but it was 50 years ago ffs. It's got the 1966 feel about it for me. Every time it's brought up as our main achievement I just feel it reinforces how little Euro glory we've achieved in that broad expanse of time since Barcelona. I haven't been able to drum up the enthusiasm to watch it, which probably sums up how tired I am of endlessly repeating it every ten years of so. I'd rather have seen a compilation story of all our five finals, maybe with our unbeaten run in 1992-93 thrown in.1 point

Much like "them" and 1967, does anyone lese feel it a little overdone? While it is the highlight of our history, must we bang on about it so often? A new film, a new range of merch, another celebration dinner. I was at the 25th anniversary dinner, the 30th, 35th, etc but at some point surely we say enough now and move on. I reckon I am very much in the minority here but I have seen and heard enough about Barcelona '72 to last a lifetime. I have just turned 51 myself so all my life I have had this retold and retold. It would have been one of the massive bonuses for me if we had managed to beat Frankfurt, that we could finally have consigned all the '72 stuff to history for good. I truly believe our achievement in getting to the finals in '08 and '22 were far harder and far greater achievements than winning 5 ties against fellow cup-winners. That is of course debatable, and the ultimate aim is to win and of course we came up short on both these ocassions.1 point
