That would be an ok return financially considering he hasn't featured. All transfers are a gamble and this one didn't pay off unfortunately. Look at the other mobs Swiss striker Ajeti. He cost 5 million and they'll be lucky to get anything over 1.5 million for him.3 points

Ryan Jack who can’t play more than an hour a game and struggles with two games a week needs to have a think if Scotland duty is worthwhile. That 70 mins in a friendly in Austria 3 days before an old firm game was a really bad idea2 points

No it couldn't have been them. They have never done anything wrong. It must have been the authorities, the police, the stadium, or the pre match bore fest singers... any one but those loveable scouse scamps2 points

Diversity and Inclusion. Back to the match - the second half was a better watch. Tough on Liverpool but as soon as RM scored, you could sense it was going to be their night. BTW, how utterly preposterous was the pre-match Camila Cabello show!? That sort of music is for wee lassies, not football fans. Americanised nonsense!2 points

The actual football is nothing special. I may not bother with the second half. I used to like Liverpool from Billy Liddell through St John and Stevenson up to Hall and Heighway but went off them after Heysel and Hillsborough and I’ve never liked Real so I’ll see if there’s a symphony concert or something else exciting. I think there’s a bike chain to clean. That’ll do.2 points

Good. Hagi will be like having a new signing next season. Excellent player, we've missed him.1 point

And here was me thinking we could tempt Sadio Mane and Gabriel Jesus to Ibrox.1 point

We’re left with Morelos, Roofe(when fit) & Sakala. We’ll need to bring in at least one forward if GvB doesn’t try to move on any of those three1 point

Any time I've been, and it's been a while, I've found Stamford Bridge to be old and dated. I loved the old Bridge with the Shed and the seats, created some atmosphere. But I can say the same about other grounds Pre-EL seated stadium - Maine Road, Goodision, Highbury, Upton Park etc. Last time I was at the Bridge I was in "main stand" and whilst the facilities (food / drink etc) were good, the access to and from seat and the view was poor. I was also surrounded by "tourist fans" which isn't unique to The Bridge. I've Rangers in a few of the new grounds in England - Arsenal, Newcastle, Man U and would say Emarites was best for away fans - lost of leg room and comfy seats as I was at the back row, a great view. Newcastle was strange as we got the home end it looked the worst stand in the ground! But great view and decent facilities. All just my opinion off course 😀1 point

I think Chelsea will be fine. The new owners sound like they run things well. I suspect it will be similar to the Liverpool owners.1 point

Maybe - but it is actually offensive to suggest that many of the Rangers fans in the stadium were "big game hunters". Our section was filled with Frankfurters,, folks from Glasgow, myself from Bermuda and a guy who came in from LA. Dont for a second think that the distance travelled means we are less a fan than those behind the goal. I also paid for half my Uncle's ticket and he had more of your experience - but the way you portray it he would be one of those who don't follow their team regularly because he wasnt in the "right section"... despite him being a ST holder for 37 years and follow following all across Europe. Boils my piss mate to see fellow fans suggest that we, in the stadium, were somehow not doing our bit - I lost my voice before half time trying to be choirmaster - and in the second half it was either stop singing or pass out.1 point

Perhaps under current unfortunate circumstance Ukraine should have possibly thought about conceeding.1 point

Was there an opening ceremony? 😀 Always nice to see Wrexham lose - their supporters are smelly tramps.1 point

Earlier in the day I watched the National League play off Semi between Wrexham and Grimsby - wow 4-5 and a last minute winner to boot. Yes but unfortunately its the train that everyone wants to catch. Just a thought, were the SNP in charge of organising the final?1 point

Who knows what his problem was. If he was injured by opposition players, same as Helander, there is little what you can do in a pre-transfer examination. If people are on the bench at 2 cup finals, I expect them to be fit or not to be there. For the rest of my days, I won`t be able to fathom Gio`s logic to try and win these games without a striker or more offensive power.1 point

I hd a choice to watch the CL final between the Bank of Madrid and the Bank of Liverpool - or the League Two playoff final from Wembley between two proper football clubs. Naturally, I didn't chose the predictable bore fest in Paris, which is guaranteed to be everything I hate about the CL gravy train. Congratulations to Port Vale.1 point
