We’ve been denied 3 goals at home in the Europa league since Christmas all of which should have stood in my opinion (including Ramsey’s one against Braga which was over the line) I welcome VAR but it isn’t foolproof3 points

I saw the Stones at the Greens Playhouse in February'71 for nineteen shillings and sixpence(97.5pence). The tickets were sold in October'70, thus pre decimal. Billy Preston was the support and he was thrown in for free.3 points

VAR succeeds in getting the majority of decisions correct. However, like the previous posts I agree it will remove spontaneity from the game. A dozen incidents of goal initially awarded, goes to a VAR check and, then cancelled; will condition supporters into different behaviour.3 points

yep, IMO both decisions were wrong. VAR will not be some silver bullet to our refereeing issues in Scotland. But if it helps then its an improvement.3 points

Our 3-2 vs Dortmund was also un-VAR'ed, when Morelos snatched the ball from the German defender, who actually kicked Morelos as the latter went passed him stealing the ball and fell. To man, the German TV reporter and commentator, like the Scottish ones, agreed that this was not a foul. Yet, the ref only saw a couple of angles and not the relevant one (which we got on TV), so he made the "wrong" decision. It happens. Dunno how it was in the stadium, but I saw the "hand ball" by Borna a few times in slow-motion, but even in the angle the ref had on his VAR screen, it hardly looked that he handled, stopped or even really touched the ball (it did not change direction or spin). So I found that a strange one.3 points

When VAR has been used at our European games, the reaction of the fans is interesting, particularly when the VAR decision goes against us. Take the disallowed Roofe goal against Braga. We were ecstatic when the goal went in. Then it dawned on us that it was being questioned, Then the ref went to the touchline and we knew it would be ruled out. Then it was ruled out. It didn't take that long for all this to happen and the change in emotions was stark, but the decision was accepted by the crowd and the game moved on. Maybe the reason for this is that there is a greater willingness to accept referees decisions in Europe. While referees do not always get things right, the level of competence is seen as greater than domestically and the question of bias is non existent. Would this be the same in a domestic game? Time will tell, but the accusations of bias by referees in Scotland will not be overcome by VAR. It may help in blatant offsides being identified, but I suspect that the majority of penalties will go the way the referee sees it. VAR does not overrule referees judgement so dodgy penalties will continue. There will be much scrutiny of the VAR referees and I see that very quickly we will be saying "What's the point of VAR?" when decisions are scrutinised at length and found wanting.3 points

I just need to remember that League Cup final a couple of years back where we dominated the Yahoos for nearly 90 mins and they scored with a goal from a free-kick and 3 or 4 of their guys were offside for roughly 5 to 10 secs even before the ball reached the scorer. Likewise, the Scum wouldn`t be 6 points ahead had it not been for blatant refereeing mistakes. Still, it requires trained and unbiased people behind the screens and non-pompous referees on the field of play for it to have any effect in Scotland. Obviously, having VAR would also mean that said people can come under more scrutiny from clubs and authorities - even though the latter would still be Scottish.3 points

For anyone who has registered with UEFA, the ballot for final tickets is now open! Good luck.2 points

I would say he has done enough to warrant another season already this year. To be honest he always deserved that. if nothing else this European run should raise the value of all our summer sales.2 points

Come June those old minstrels the Rolling Stones will play Hyde Park and the best viewing position will set you back around £1000 per ticket so the Ibrox game is as cheap as chips 🍟2 points

If it’s anything like the last 3 rounds it will be fantastic value for money2 points

We've won some really big matches with GvB at the helm. The problem has been the more run of the mill stuff and dropping points against the likes of Ross County and Motherwell. There's no way Rangers will be sacking him at the end of the season, even if we win nothing, so we should get behind him.2 points

I actually thought the stadium would be quite a bit bigger than 42k. Rangers, Eintracht Frankfurt and West Ham are all capable of taking 30k+ there. I doubt Leipzig could muster more than 10k. Flights and hotels are already at a premium.1 point

Despite a lifetime observing them it still surprises me how deranged they become after a tanking from Rangers. No Surrender - would someone like to add me to the charge sheet? I take it this is a massive wind up?1 point

A couple of VAR checks during the EL matches have resulted in myself and fans around me asking, "What's going on?". I think it'll temper goal celebrations somewhat and that takes the single most exhilarating moment out of being at a football match.1 point

VAR certainly hasn't ended debates about decision making in England.1 point

I think Morelos and Kent will still be here next season but I would actively try to get money for Barisic, Helander and Kamara.1 point

He deserves a chance to bring India own players and ship out the players who are either too old or simply not good enough . MacGregor , Davis , Arfield , Goldson , Balogun , Ramsey , Itten , firth ,Simpson ,Ahmad , that’s just from the first team squad off the top of my head . God knows what money they are on , only Goldson and possibly Arfield and Davis I would keep , on top of that , Aribo , Barasic , Kent , Kamara and Morelos will again be the subject of transfer speculation , and my dark horse is Bassey as he is absolutely perfect for the EPL . This is a massive summer for our club .1 point

Probably stuffing more money into that big brown bag he's always humfing around with him 🤣1 point

I think we should stop undermining our manager and understand that you only count the winners at the finishing line, not half way round the first corner. Come the end of the season after next, you might have some idea whether GvB was a good Rangers manager or not.1 point

McLaughlin sure doesn`t want the ball being played about his penalty area and the defensive third, and thus we played the long ball more often, which took a lot out of their attacking threat and midfield.1 point

It's clear to me our success yesterday was in no small measure due the manager wearing appropriate footwear.1 point
