No, mate. I've seen plenty of others raise their concerns, including the guys who failed in their attempt to get a board place. Rather than take their concerns on board and adopt a conciliatory approach, the current board just seem to double down. Most member votes are just a yes or no, and not either/or, so we're not given a proper say and it's a waste of time to raise concerns. You're correct about the King v Park battle, but for me it's largely one-sided. Park is still here and while some may doubt his/their ability to take us further, I don't doubt that he has only the club's best interests at heart, and the major issues are all priorities of where to spend the limited cash that they have available. King invested his cash in the past and deserves gratitude for that but anything that he now says appears to be self-serving.3 points

Customer service from Rangers right now seems to be getting worse instead of better which was promised by those in charge over the last six months.3 points

I think tonight will go to extra time just what we don’t need with Sunday looming3 points

yeah but you are rich and can afford lump sums. some people need a way to put in a little every month. also share issues are rare below the million quid per person mark.3 points

When was the last time you suffered such torture against nine men. Talk about making a meal of it. Nerves shredded, away to lie in silence in a darkened room for an hour. So proud of Rangers.2 points

I feel we're going to need a high energy performance tonight and Kamara would slow down play too much, as he always seems to. I'd have no issue with Davis but the truth is Lundstram is currently up to speed and Davis isn't - in such an important game I'm not sure Davis is a gamble you would want to take if you didn't have to.2 points

I look forward to hearing/reading that 'VAR saved Braga from Ibrox drubbing' in the mhedia, various, tomorrow; you know, like VAR 'saved' Rangers against Red Star, parroted to a man the other week.1 point

They were pro Rangers but were getting ahead of themselves by suggesting the tie was over. At no stage tonight was the tie over!1 point

What a performance from our captain yet again, incredible numbers this has since he signed for us! what a signing he has been, the best ever signing???1 point

They made gey hard work of it; and that made it gey hard work to watch. Never has the old cliche, failing to convert superiority into goals, sprung so often to the lips of so many.1 point

10 or 9 men can change little in the overall game and action areas as players are generally removed from striking positions.1 point

We had the full suite of emotions tonight. Don't ever put me through that again Rangers.1 point

Don't think the subs helped us tonight. Amazing to get through and fully deserved. Should have been about 8-1 in the end. Well done The Gers! Leipzig next!!!1 point

perhaps it's a back 3 like the end of the game last week. that worked. Bassey stepping out. Barasic able to attack and create.1 point

More end product from Barisic though and we need goals.1 point

Davis is a great option to bring on if we are lucky enough to be in a position where we need to protect possession of the ball later in the game. Aribo showed on Sunday why he'd be in my team every week. Remember last home tie against Braga he scored a brilliant goal whilst playing left back 🙂1 point

A lot of people preferring Davis to Lundstram and Kamara to Aribo on social media. All four players capable of doing the business but balance of side has to err towards to attacking given we need to score at least once tonight.1 point

or the club could set something up as I suggest and get the money in as we go along. Personally I would say preferable and more likely to succeed than getting people to sit on money that may or money never be accepted. Via club 1872 I was able to put money into rangers that simply wouldn't have gone in any other way. I accept the need for an alternative now to giving it to Dave King but the club need to offer that. I also agree it would be better if it was in your own name as you say, certainly as things stand.1 point

I think that side probably chooses itself.1 point

They still know how to take your money though. That came off my bank straight away.1 point

This. I considered investing in the last share issue but it had a minimum buy in of £500. Considering your shares are likely to decrease in value its a lot to ask fans for. A share issue witha minimum buy in of £100 would have been more successful IMO. I would certainly have subscribed1 point

Very much in the mood for tonight's game and a long weekend. My starting XI below but the manager may try to find a place for Barisic who has looked a bit sharper of late. Plenty options in terms of system from a 3-5-2 to a 4-2-3-1. Expecting an open game and goals! Extra time too?1 point

... and all three bad injuries, as far as I remember, cam from bad tackles by opposition players, not some twisted ankle or turning over in training. His only turning 29 later this month, so hopefully a few good years ahead for him. Will be off working tonight, German championship icehockey play-offs have started, so just updates for me. That said, we "slaughtered" Red Star in similar circumstances. You just hope we start with Ramsey, Roofe and Sakala, it will most likely be Kent too. He needs to show his qualities tonight, should have space to run into. I reckon Lundstram will start as well, you wonder whether it will be Kamara, Arfield or Aribo next to him.1 point

Maybe just me but there is a lack of "buzz" around considering we've gotten a EL Quarter Final and Scottish Cup semi-final loomimg. Hopefully that'll change when I get to Ibrox tonight1 point

At the risk of repeating myself, because it benefits the club. The club is short of cash and desperately needs every penny it can get. Do you not have any concerns about the conflict of interest that the C1872 board (including shadow director) appear to have in this issue? Is it not correct to raise concerns that the C1872 board previously claimed that hey were unable to purchase shares from the club, despite the club offering them the opportunity, and the only reason that they did buy shares from the club was that they were publicly shamed into doing it? How can the C1872 members possibly trust that there is currently not the chance to put the cash into Rangers itself? The club has had 17 allotments of shares over the past 18 months. there's nothing to suggest that they wouldn't welcome this cash into the club. But then again, I wasn't given a high paying job in Rangers in the past, so perhaps I'm looking at it differently from those making the decisions as to where the cash should go. Its objects include "to support and enhance the aspirations of Rangers supporters and followers for the well-being of the Club and its footballing success." Is giving cash to King rather than the club in line with that object? I guess that's partly aimed at me but I'm personally a member and this website is also a member.1 point

Indeed, which is odd. If we are expected to win in the 90, at home with the support behind us, why would we not be favorites to get over the line in ET or penalties when we already have the momentum. I guess the bookies are betting on the well documented Scottish self-destruct button being activated!1 point

For a club from a pisspot league on the edge of Europe, we have a habit of punching above our weight every now and then. Predictions are cheap but it wouldn't raise too many eyebrows if Rangers went through tonight.1 point

I think you're probably right, but sometimes events can overtake people. Circumstances outside his control might force King down a particular path, ill health might become an issue, perhaps his children or his wife might feel differently about the shares should they come into their possession. Plus, sometimes people hear what they want to hear, 'I was duped' springs to mind. I suspect David Murray would rather his legacy was 9 in a row and Auchenhowie rather than crippling debt and Craig Whyte. Knowing when and how to leave the stage isn't always in our own gift, no matter what we might have planned.1 point

I don't have a huge issue with them buying King's shares. I understand the argument that the money would be better going into the club, and in a perfect world that would be ideal. However, if Club 1872 don't buy King's shares I worry about who does. Assuming our major shareholders and current directors haven't expressed an interest in buying them then, for me, Club 1872 is a better option than some of the alternatives. From a business perspective if we want people with resources and business acumen to get involved in the club it would be an easier 'sell' if there's a clear exit strategy too. Club 1872 or something similar strikes me as a decent one. The thought of a decent chunk of the club falling into the hands of someone like Mike Ashley or Charles Green again is a bigger concern for me than Club 1872, for all its faults. The antagonism that seems to exist between Club 1872 and some of the current board isn't helpful, it pushes us to take sides. Fixing that would be in everyone's best interests. Easier said than done I accept. If, as a support, we expect our shareholders to simply write off a lot the value of their shares rather than expect to at least recoup what they paid for them, then I worry that will discourage a fair number of people from investing in Rangers. Even the wealthiest of supporter must baulk at potentially losing millions of pounds.1 point
