  1. A Fortnight past, we lost 3-zip at ra Stydome. A garrulous Tom Anguish was the most excited I have ever heard him, he could not decide between AngeBall and, "the white hot atmosphere unique to Celtic Park" as the reason for our downfall. The next meeting between the clubs is due at Ibrox. Tom will not set foot in Ibrox because he is a BBC Scotland employee; however, he and fellow members of the Yahoo Media Shamrock CSC know the Green Brigade with their, "witty banners" are a preferred preference in the Broomloan. The campaign, the co-ordinated campaign to get, "the masked revellers" back into the Ibrox has been growing momentum for a fortnight. Look at those demanding a green'n'grey presence, Rod Stewart, John Hartson, Chris Sutton, Paul Cooney, Hugh MacDonald, Alison McConnell,.................. etc. These are folks that tell us what language is appropriate, only present Sellik convenient facts and, only see our existence as something to be preached at. Last season, saw the first old firm match at Sellik Park as match dat 11(eleven). Traditionally, the first meeting was always between first and third; why eleven and why were all those mentioned saying nothing? Let's start with comparing like with like. Whether it's 7,500 tickets for the entire Broomloan Stand or it's 900 for the Broomloan - Govan corner; all these seats have unrestricted views. Compare and contrast with the reciprocated at ra Stydome? When was the last time - only time Rod Stewart, John Hartson, Chris Sutton, Paul Cooney, Hugh MacDonald, Alison McConnell, ......... etc sat in the away section at ra Stydome?

  3. I think we are under estimating Dortmund big time. I hope to be pleasantly surprised, but I have to say I fear the worst

  5. Midfield is huge is we want to stop them. Although Jack is the best of the bunch, I'm not sure I'd start him tomorrow night, as we have more important games ahead. Playing two holding midfielders might be worthwhile (Lundstram and Sands/Jack). I'd go with (4-2-3-1): McGregor Tav Goldson Bassey Barisic. Lundstram Sands. Sakala Aribo Kent. Morelos A tough night lies ahead but we've overcome bigger obstacles. Mon The Rangers! 🇬🇧

  6. The preverbial "free hit" for us. And with Dortmund's variable form, we need to pick our moments but I'd like to see us have a go.

  7. Balogun is out. Omitting Helander from the European squad seems like madness!

  8. Although it's a free hit, in some ways this is still a test of sorts for GVB. I guessed before the old firm that GVBs Rangers wouldn't be as compact and as solid as Gerrard's and it certainly seemed that way. Gerrard's failures were largely an inability to consistently do the job against smaller teams. In his final season, he overcame that hurdle in the league, though it remained in the cups. His successes on the other hand were largely his ability to perform very consistently against good opposition; old firm matches and Europe. I expect Dortmund will be looking to put this game to bed in the first leg so that they can rest good players in the second leg, but a good manager would still find a way to make things difficult for them so I'm keen to see how we do tactically. Looking at Dortmund's results, they score a lot but they concede like a mid table/bottom half side. Stopping them from scoring will be near impossible but it seems we need to make sure we have a counter attacking threat because this isn't the defensively solid Dortmund of a number of seasons ago.

  9. Nah, the madness levels are more or less the same, only that they have what, 10 to 20 times more active posters than Gersnet and you are thus bound to meet more bampots, not least in certain topics.
