It took 10mins for the fans to get on the players backs, especially Goldson, Hagi and Lundstram. It seems we are back to the need to have whipping boys. That, and as you say leaving in droves well before the final whistle, it's an utter disgrace. For once it wasn't the Subway Loyal as I stayed to final whistle and when I walked past the Subway the queue wasn't even past the chippy.2 points

Hate to sound like a broken record but watching thousands of fans leave well before the final whistle, must be disheartening for the players. Especially when the game is on a knife edge.2 points

Worst performance since the Horror of Hampden and back to the "pre-Gio" type game. However, as always all that's important is the 3 points. Now over to wee Nippy to call the season on Monday and we can celebrate 56 as well as Christmas.2 points

Is he not on yellow card knife edge? With the potential to miss the OF game?2 points

I have had a feeling a skelping is on the cards and it may well be today against an under-strength (if media are to be believed) United. Add to that the revenge as the only league side to beat us in 21 months and we have all the incentive required to make this a memorable one. Anyone recall we put 7 past United round about Christmas time a few years ago? Could a repeat be on the cards today?2 points

They've probably never finished reading a book either....1 point

I reckon they pull out half way through a shag and leave a restaurant before the meal is finished too. Alkies and impatient gits is what they are.1 point
-
I wonder if the fans who leave the football early also leave the cinema before a film ends? Or if they leave they theatre before the play ends? Or leave a concert before the gig has ended?1 point
-
Why would you leave early when the game isn't decided? Folk care more about getting a pint than supporting the team. That's the crux of it. Having said that, I agree with Bill that the players should be able to do their job regardless.1 point

If our professional football players are upset by people leaving early then they’re really not very professional at all. I’ve never understood all the fretting over people leaving before full time. The only ones who see this as an issue are the anally retentive amongst us who think everyone else should be like them.1 point

Cammy were you sitting near me I started getting on Goldsons back early. Had his usual slack pass then was pretty solid the rest of the game1 point

Replays showed it was Kent who stood on the United player’s heel1 point

Playing Hagi out wide when Wright is on the bench and we’re desperate for a creative central midfielder is beyond stupid. Some poor experimentation today. The entire team looked confused about what was being asked of them. Thankfully we got away with it in the end1 point

I was expecting a 3-4-3, not Patterson on the left. He`s not that comfortable there. Why we did not utilize Sakala like we did against Hearts is beyond me. Kamara and Lundstram are not going forward that much, Arfield is omitted again and again ... and Morelos is wandering to the wings again. I`d withdraw Lundstram for Sakala and play ... Tavernier - Goldson - Bassey Patterson - Hagi - Kamara - Arfield - Kent Morelos - Sakala1 point

Villa-Burnley postponed. FFS--I brought Watkins into my Fantasy League team because I had all three strikers involved in postponements...1 point

The idea that they are under strength should be belted out of the pitch with a straight bat. Their resolve will only be fortified IMO (case in point being, us v the Tims in last OF game). Let's just keep doing what we are doing and ensure we get the 3pts. Points first, goal tallies later.1 point

The three points is the main thing. I'd be happy with 2-0 wins every week. Having said that, I can't stand Dundee United, so would very much enjoy giving them a tanking.1 point

I think we are reading too much into this. Gerrard was always leaving sooner than later. He hasn't been with his young family for over 3 years so he was always going to jump ship at the first and best option. Newcastle would have been pointless for him in terms of geography but Villa is manageable. I presume SG lives in the Chester area? If so, this is approximately 70/80 mile journey to work. Easy.1 point
