That was as much a training run as anything else: a decent performance, with some neat play, pace, and an almost acceptable result. It has to be said that Dundee FC bears as much relation to quality football as The Sunday Post does to quality journalism, and, thus, we should have taken a few more goals - we certainly had enough chances. Leigh Griffiths: a guttersnipe of the lowest degree, although that description flatters him.3 points

Staggering to think that people are debating the penalty. He clearly trips the player in the box. It's clear as day. It is also staggering but not surprising that they are calling Celtics offside goal on Thursday "tight". There is at least half a yard or more between their striker and the Hearts defender. That is not "tight" whatsoever.3 points

He was indeed much improved, particularly in a defensive capacity, which has often been his main failing. Also in defence, while Bassey has rightly received considerable praise recently, we could really be doing with Filip Helander back in harness. Alfredo Morelos is a mere shadow of the player who used to terrorise defences. He needs a break to recover and reset.2 points

I thought Barasic was really good again today too. He has been excellent in recent weeks. Long may it continue2 points

I would like us to sign another Arfield-type player in January or the Summer.2 points

Good performance, good result. Guilty of being a little wasteful, but sound defensively.1 point

With that much pressure you’re eventually due a bit of luck. We do need to be better at finishing off moves though.1 point

Aribo has been brilliant again. Looks our best player at present.1 point

Sakala’s movement in front of goal is so much better than Morelos1 point

I hope you meant Candeias as the other one suited the character in the Wizard of Oz.1 point

...and with Candeias we won nothing and were a pushover.1 point

Yup there should have been no need for VAR for either decision. Both clear as day. Beaton got out penalty 100% correct, linesman at Parkhead got their goal 100% wrong. However with VAR, their "goal" is ruled out.1 point

We never really replaced Jim Denny eirher, or Cammy Fraser...😀1 point

Huge missed opportunity. We should have appointed a SG type manager back then who'd have taken us through the league's whilst building a squad. Instead we signed players who'd struggle to get a game in the juniors. Ally was and still is a hero but we were too loyal to him back then. He was never management material. Let's not forget and this is no exaggeration, our enemies tried to kill us off back then. They failed, but we took a hell of a kicking. We have one team who had free access to a decades worth of CL money, sponsorship etc, yet somehow we have managed to overtake them and won 55. A miracle really, stuff of folklore but still not good enough for some fans.1 point

Off course we're miles off being a CL team. Where have you been since 2011/2012? Oh and for the record, we've been miles of being a CL team since 1992/1993 with 1 or 2 exceptions. How are we to suddenly turn into a team that constantly gets access to CL money? Winning the league of course, so being top of the SPFL is an indication as if we don't win the league, we don't get to CL - quite simple really. Have you looked at how our European coefficient has increased over the last 3 or 4 years? If it wasn't for our victories and runs in Europa League, we wouldn't be gaining automatic qualification to the CL group stages and the £30M that would guarantee us. Some Rangers fans do need a reality check. Maybe go on Rangers Archives and watch is struggle in the lower leagues, watch Motherwell embarrass us home and away in the play off final, watch Raith Rovers beat us in the Ratners Cup Final (or whatever it was called). Then look at where we are now despite having no money to spend - it's night and fucking day.1 point

We're not going to win every match comfortably by playing nice football. It's Scotland! I agree we've been disappointing this season but melodramatic tirades, after an important victory in a difficult away match when a new manager has just arrived, are as ridiculous as they are pointless.1 point

He was magnificent and we have never replaced his quality despite spending 10 million trying.1 point

Right wing has been an issue since we sold Candieas. God knows what we have spent on inferior replacements.1 point

Pleased to hear that facilities for disabled supporters is to be prioritised at last. The present wheelchair allocation is a disgrace.1 point
