Definitely some improvements and a very welcome 3 points but that only highlighted the continuing deficiencies. The main issue is an inability to maintain a decent momentum throughout the game, which will always encourage opponents to find a way back into the game. There were some players today who were clearly making an effort and responding to the new regime. I thought Hagi, Aribo, Arfield, Bassey, Tavernier and Kent all looked hungrier. It's so frustrating to see a really good players like Kamara and Barisic playing at walking pace and taking 30 minute sabbaticals in these games - they're so much better than that. Goldson needs help, he's all over the place. Two games, two wins, clear signs of improvements. Let's hope it continues but I think we can all be grateful for a change of manager - Steve Gerrard did good things for Rangers it's now fairly clear he had run his course with these players. The abiding memory of this game will be the poor bloke with the snow shovel, send on by himself to show the watching world how the SPFL marshals it's resources to respond to adversity.

I must have watched a different game. It wasnt all plain sailing (it never will be on that pitch) but that was the most comfortable we've looked on that pitch.

I hate to be fussy pwick but I wish the players would wear something more becoming of Rangers FC prior to games. Those powder blue track suits look like something a new born would wear. They are ghastly.

That's fair. Apologies - it's a bit of a pet peeve of mine, this need to see a midfielder do everything, become all-rounders. There's talk of Declan Rice needing to add goals to his game. Why? He's a DM. We don't expect FB's or CB's to score goals. Midfielders should be specialised, IMO. Let them be the best version of the position they play. If they are a DM, let them get better at tackling, recovering the ball, blocks, interceptions, pass accuracy, -- and to be fair, forward passes, secondary assists, even assists-- but don't expect them to do everything.

Played a lot better today but my two complaints remain that we don’t capitalise on the amount of possession we get and we concede possession too carelessly at times. Good to see us moving the ball a lot quicker too. GvB impact already maybe

I think the ref took a guess there, but the irony is that’s exactly how Livingston play much of their football. Long punt up the park, get a foul then try something from the set piece. Ref has been pish today.
