The main thing is to get back to winning ways tonight. I doubt it'll be easy, as Livi will set up to stop us. I'm hoping to see Sakala, Bacuna, Bassey, Patterson and Lundstram start. We have a busy period before the international break and need to find some form, as well as giving certain players a rest. We have missed Hagi and I think his presence makes a difference.

I think we're all hoping for the best but preparing ourselves for the news that Ryan Jack won't be playing again, in which case the loss will be immeasurable. I still see him as the best midfield player at the club. I suspect our manager does too. Jack PDF.pdf

Goalkeeper unemployed. Back four comfortable. Decent night in the end for Kamara, Roofe, Morelos. For me the best were Lundstram and Hagi.

It is really tricky just now. When our form is poor I feel we badly lack movement, people willing to stretch the opposition and make runs in behind. We play in front of the opposition too much. Sakala, Bassey and even Patterson all help us do that, but that doesn’t mean they should take the place of good players who won us the league last season. I don’t know what the answer is tbh but I do wonder if we should find a way to get Sakala into the 11, even beside Morelos in a front two. He’s not the finished article but his pace certainly adds another dimension to our attack.

I do know one thing - players struggling for form will never find it with supporters howling at them from the stands and calling for them to be dropped. Supporters ... the clue is in the name.
