  1. Your resignation has been refused, the Board would like to confirm their confidence in your abilities to turn the present situation around.

  2. It was never a penalty. England deserved to win, but I was gutted to see Denmark lose it to that dive.

  3. Think Nippy's take on things is along these lines:- England can do the fcuk what they want, in Scotland I WILL TELL YOU what to do.

  4. I find I have no difficulty wishing our neighbours well or understanding their joy at a small success after so many years of failure. In fact it would be petty and parochial to be anything other than generous towards them. Let them be proud to be English and if some of them go over the top then let's not be so disingenuous to think we wouldn't do exactly the same. Otherwise we just look like people with an enormous chip on our shoulders .... we're not, are we?

  5. It did. With VAR, you quite often have to wait a few moments to still get an incorrect decision. Sterling was going down well before anyone touched him. But he's basically a new age Martin Luther King, so it's okay.

  6. We do. Good job from the club, celebrating 150 in style. As for Kamara, if he goes to England, we should be looking at a decent fee indeed. When you see rubbish stuff like 89m for Sancho, or 12m for some no-name chap joinging Newcastle, I simply expect that EPL-teams pay what we want and not what they deem fit for an SPFL player. I do expect that we will see bids from the EPL for the likes of Tavernier, Goldson, Kent and Co. in weeks to come.

  7. That's an exciting game to look forward to. One of the greatest sides in the history of football... against Real Madrid. Superb.

  8. Celtic and the SNP are just different symptoms of the same disease.

  9. Danish coach blew it. Why take 2 of your most dangerous players? Subs didn't make sense unless the players were injured? Denmark were lost after 12 (Dolberg) and 14 (Damsgaard) went off. Braithwaite then drifted out of the game. Anyway. Well done England. C'mon Italy!!

  10. Understand you now but still want them to win. As an aside I was at Hampden when John Greig scored that memorable against the Italians,a great night and was with my Dad, the one and only time he went to a football game.

  11. The contradiction was obvious, unless you haven't watched any Italians play football since the 50s.

  12. Myth? Well, let's start with Myth Sturgeon. Homer nods, Sturgeon wobbles. But, hey, it's so, so, difficult to keep the heid steady with a' thae snakes wrigglin' and writhin', and writhin' and wrigglin'. To be fair, no part of any man was turned to stone in the making of her legend.

  16. Fantastic! This is the sort of company we should be keeping. Hope to God though that we don't take a gubbing.

  17. Was just about to pose the question if the turnstiles will be open for this? Its a MUST they should be...at least 20,000 should get in - Considering there was over 70,000 at Wembley last night. (The official figure was 67,500 but that didnt include the 2000 delegates plus sponsor tickets nor the 100s of media).

  18. It's inevitable. You would have thought that the manager of the first British team to win the European Cup would have got one but oh no, he wasn't managing an English team; that honour was reserved for Manchester United.

  19. Agreed plus they just werent clinical enough in the final third early on. They had a break while 1-0 up and just made a mess of it. A good set of strikers will punish that England defence. But overall the best team won. When it went to 1-1 there was only one team. It wasnt a pen either and Schmiechel was very unlucky - what a keeper he is though. In the FA Cup final he was outstanding and he had another brilliant save in the second half. Kyle Walker though - best RB in the world. Immense performance and he has been doing that all season. To think he almost lost his place to Trent-AA, Trippier and Reece James - now he along with Kane must be the first name on the team sheet. I'll be getting the Old Baggio shirt out for Sunday though. I not a big Scotland fan and thought the fans were embarrassing at the Euros but Im equally not an England fan either. I certainly dont mind plenty English people as I have loads of mates and went to school there for a while but just couldnt stand the media if they won it. Looking forward to the Final though -

  20. The SNP barely said a word about their own MP who was 'sexting' an underage boy, so I doubt they'll bother much about Griffiths' antics. Celtc FC and the SNP are similar, in various ways.

  21. This evening, Wednesday 7th July'21; the Daily Record are reporting a Police Scotland investigation into Leigh Griffiths' latest shenanigans. Apparently, the convicted racist and thief has been sexpesting two girls under 16, asking both for compromising photos? Meanwhile in Wales, ra Sellik played their first pre-season game against Sheffield Wednesday, winning 3-1. Leigh Griffiths was not involved. Last week, new Sellik gaffer, Ange Postecoglou offered Griffiths a one year contract. It is believed Leigh preferred to stay at Lennoxtown to continue playing with the Under 16s.

  22. It’s also worth considering that the 25p price means fewer new shares, less dilution for existing shareholders, and notionally an upward adjustment of existing share value. I doubt the board suddenly lost their marbles and it’s strange anyone would think it.
