  1. I know we've still got some problems of our own but it's an undeniable pleasure watching the self-destruction of a club that only a year ago was boasting of its invincibility to anyone that would listen. You have to think there are bigger problems under the surface that have contributed to their decline that are still to emerge. With any luck it could be a long time before we hear their boasting again. What is it they say about what goes around?

  2. What is this thing where a red team can't play a blue team - one team always seems to need to play in white? HD TVs aplenty but apparently we're all colourblind.

  4. There was an interesting exchange between Neil Lennon and the SFA's Ian Maxwell on this morning's BBC Scotland Euro Breakfast radio show. Lennon continues to peddle his 'we were treated differently over Covid' line and Maxwell's response left him floundering. It's telling though that it took another guest to correct Lennon rather than one of the money journalists BBC Scotland Sport employ.

  8. This is a very difficult transfer window for Rangers to navigate, compounded by the complication of Euro2020 running well into July. With two qualifying rounds of the CL to negotiate it's imperative we have the players on board, ready and rested to do it .... but we'll find it hard to justify ambitious signings without first having the financial security of qualifying for the group stages. We might also find it difficult to attract the right players without knowing there's CL football to showcase their talents. If we get this right I think Ross Wilson will be due a raise.

  9. I used to believe someone could be a ScotNat and a Rangers supporter but that it would inevitably mean compromising allegiance on one side or the other. I've changed my opinion. Such are the direct and specific nature of nationalist attacks on our club and its followers that supporting Rangers, as I understand Rangers, is surely utterly incompatible with being a Scottish nationalist. The two are travelling in such diametrically opposed directions and pose such existential threat to each other that co-existence seems impossible. The only decision to make about a ScotNat who says he/she/it supports Rangers is where to place them on the spectrum between liar and fantasist.

  11. I keep asking myself, how exactly did Celtic manage to turn success into catastrophe quite so efficiently. Normally they're shite at everything but boy did they turn that around in a hurry. They had all the trophies, now they've none. They had a good manager, now they've no one. They had money, now they've only losses. They had domination, now they're under our boot.
