A new low for Scotland, for this SNP Government and sadly, Police Scotland. Hell mend those of us who voted for them, clearly a political based assault on Rangers and our fans who are seen as the last bastion of Unionism. Its now open warfare, be careful which side you chose.4 points

His idiocy would be amusing if he wasn't an elected representative. As it is, it's deeply embarrassing that he holds such a lofty position at the Scottish Assembly.4 points

I noted Humza reinforcing a Police Scotland Tweet on this matter. Clearly, the video has been downloaded and the sound edited. It's what Humza wants to believe, he needs to believe it. Within 15 minutes of Humza's Tweet, lot's of other folks, we will call them the usual suspects are re-Tweeting with added comments. These include James Dornan MSP, Angela Haggerty, Jum Spence, Stan Collymore, ..... etc. The video was uploaded on to TikTok by 'WullieWanker'. I advise the Rangers players involved to Lawyer up and begin civil proceedings.4 points

Lots of deserving candidates but I will go with Connor Goldson Mr constituency in performance throughout the season4 points

Let's go back 14 years, a video appeared of the then Sellik Chair, Brian Quinn accompanied by two Sellik players, John Hartson and Stephen Pearson on the stage of the Clanree Hotel, Donegal. The hostelry was owned by former IRA man(he had taken off his balaclava for the weekend), Hughie McGee. The Clanree Hotel was the venue for the end of season Player of the Year Dinner for the North of Ireland Celtic Supporters Association. The suited and booted attendees sat at their tables and applauded enthusiastically as the former Vice-Chair of the Bank of England, Brian Quinn took the stage. As Hartson and Pearson joined him, the audience stood and began to sing the Fields of Athenry, with add-ons. Microphones in their hands, ra Sellik trio joined in, shouting the IRA add ons with gusto. Cheered to the echo, the Club Chair became animated, turning to and fro, conducting the word perfect choir. Brian, John and, Stephen became video stars and the embarrassment flowed. BBC Scotland did NOT show the video, instead they carried a twenty second interview with Club Chief Executive, Peter Lawwell who pronounced, "it's been produced with thirty pounds of software". The then Justice Secretary did not demand anyone, "be shown the door". BBC Scotland's Chris and Connie McLaughlin provided descant on Peter's sweet melody. Compare and contrast with today's mock-up of mainly RC Rangers players accused of singing anti-catholic lyrics? Where do you acquire such software?3 points

This is classic leftism. Obtain video or audio footage. Doctor it. Use fraudulent material to establish a false narrative. Mobilise the political response. Mobilise the media response. Mobilise the law enforcement response. This can only work where all the necessary institutions have been ideologically captured. Rangers have to go in HARD on this and expose it. Platitudes and politicking will achieve nothing. That’s if we can even trust the judicial system. This has played out out many time in the US in recent years. Mainly against Trump and and those who associated with him. It’s boilerplate left wing tactics to discredit political opponents. That’s what Rangers are. Political opposition who must be destroyed. White, Male, Protestant. We have to be taken down.3 points

For the closing of the awards, if Tav doesn't get all the players on stage singing Sweet Caroline, he should lose all his awards and the captaincy ?♂️?3 points

The rush into hysteria is astonishing, even for a rabid shithole like Scotland. If they haven't done so yet, I can almost guarantee someone in the media is about to overstep the mark and find themselves on the end of a very expensive defamation case.3 points

It's such a familiar reaction to Rangers success that no one can be surprised at recent events. What is more worrying is the clear coordination between the SFA, government, media and police .... who now express their bigotry like a well-practised barbershop quartet. This is a direct consequence of SNP policy to centralise and control every aspect of public life. The only thing missing here is Bearger denouncing the Rangers support and defending the integrity of Sturgeon and Yousaf.3 points

You're wasting your time trying to question Humza Yousaf's suitability as a government minister. Other than a thin veneer of pretence, Yousaf isn't there to be a serious politician. He's little more than a cheap gangster, afforded the platform of politics to pursue personal bigotries, which mainly centre on barely-concealed islamism shored up with an absurd allegiance to Irish republicanism. In that aspect, he's emblematic of much of the SNP following. It's a strange paradox that people like Yousaf, steeped in bigotry, should try so hard to tar Rangers with the same brush. Rangers, a club that has transformed itself over the last 15 years into the most inclusive club in this country.3 points

That's not excusing anything. It's just the reasons for it. It doesn't make it right. Not sure why you're trying to be so confrontational about it.3 points

I have written to the editor of the Edinburgh Evening News about the Helen Martin article. It is the most astonishing article I've ever read. Looks like it has been written by a child and politically very naïve but the vile content is quite breathtaking. Perhaps not surprising that the people trying to have a go at Rangers today were all silent 5 years ago to the day almost when Rangers players got attacked at the end of the SC final by hibz supporters who jumped barriers to invade the pitch & cause mayhem. Exuberance it was called by someone who, unbelievably, is SFA president today. And that evening the FM tweeted how happy her hibz-supporting husband was. We live in a dangerous little country. We really do.2 points

I'm not so sure Cammy, it strikes me as carrying a quietly threatening tone, both to those who perpetrated to scam and also those who rushed to accept it as genuine.2 points

I look forward to Humza calling WullieWanker as his first witness in court. Communication - say what you mean, mean what you say. Humza is the beneficiary of a most expensive private education. Yesterday, he Tweeted about a "Tory", then Tweeted about two Tories, his plural being, "Tory's". Don't ask about the apostrophe?2 points

Congratulations, old bean. Just remember the advice of Bob Ferris and Terry Collier, Friday night is lads’ night. Midweek football, Saturdays and Sunday mornings are also reserved times. My own advice: if you’ve got a garage, shed or even boiler room, defend them to the last square inch. The rest of the house is for Mrs gs.2 points

It’s recognition for the whole season, not a game or a month. On that basis I can’t see past Connor Goldson. For me, he’s the main reason we lifted that trophy.2 points

In a sane country, the inflammatory tweets by Sturgeon and Yousaf would lose them support. I think there must be SNP supporters that aren’t big fans of illegal immigration and don’t want to see officials threatened. But it’s not really very sane just now is it ?2 points

Last time I remember the police were criticised for giving the crowd an escort into the town. Now they stand back and are criticised. You can't win.2 points

The club statement is totally understandable - they have to distance themselves from the bother in Glasgow.2 points

For me, it really is a close call between Goldson and Tavenier, although you could argue for many of the others as well. In the end, Goldson gets my vote. To have played every minute of every game, his crucial goals at Parkhead set the tone early on, he slipped in to the captain role seamlessly in Tavs absence. Another small issue sealed it for me. Amongst the celebratory interviews on Saturday, the one with Goldson where Aribo & Kamera "hijacked" it to show there appreciation of the big man, calling him their big brother, was really touching. Well done big man!2 points

Goldson. For some reason, this ever so solid, ever present, player seems to have been overlooked by every other poll.2 points

My points per game would put me right up in the European qualifying spots - I'll play a full season in 21/22 and be a challenger. Fantastic job Rousseau.2 points

Thanks to @Rousseaufor running the prediction league, it gives a bit of extra interest during the season as long as Rangers win. I will try and retain the title next season same as S.G. but as long as he does I’ll be happy.2 points

It's hardly news that we've got some neds and arseholes in our support. Turn up at Ibrox on a European night and you'll see them. It's also hardly a surprise that there was some trouble at George Square caused by a small minority. That was predicted by many, as was the SNP's hypocrisy on the issue. If anything, I'm surprised there wasn't more trouble and the police weren't more heavy-handed.2 points

One day Sturgeon is telling people to gather to stop civil servants doing their job. Two days later she's kicking off about another gathering. Hardly worth taking her or her pal with the Celtc hoodie seriously.2 points

Stats don't lie on this occasion. Hibs were definitely our trickiest opponents.2 points

What gets me is the video was in the Argyle Suite so someone connected to the club must have put it on social media, same as the one with Greegs dancing. This is tantamount to leaks like the past and Rangers should be investigating the source of it IMHO.1 point

Goldson. I think he deserves the recognition. Tav, without the injury would've probably got my vote. Or similarly, had Kent had a few more sparkling games then it would've been him, as his best is unplayable.1 point
