So here the journey really does end, nine years after the clubs in the SPL and SFL took an unnecessary decision to put the country's foremost club in it's place and share the kudos of lording it over the "bigheads and bigots" at Ibrox. No one will ever convince me that what Rangers was put through was motivated by anything other than envy and bigotry, nowhere more so than amongst the Scottish nationalist and pseudo-Irish communities. There should be no doubt either that many of those who pulled the rug out from under us were quite prepared to see Rangers extinguished altogether. You just know that after nine years of struggle and disappointment, there are still many in Scottish football who see this, our day of glory, as their failure and a profound disappointment. You might think this is a day of renewal and forgiveness when we should put the past behind us but I think not. If there's one thing we should never forget as we enter a new era for Rangers, it's the fact that those we have to share this league with and those who administer the game are the same people and clubs who would have destroyed our club. For me, that day nine years ago ended any respect I had for the rest of Scottish football and that's a fence that will never be mended. You might like to think there are one or two who will see the league trophy raised at Ibrox and feel a tinge of guilt or remorse .... but I doubt it. Enjoy the day, celebrate to the full, it's been a very long time coming. But never lose sight of why we went through all that pain and for God's sake don't be the people who line up to criticise bears who want to take to the streets to mark what is our equivalent of reaching the summit of Everest.5 points

I hope the players, staff and directors have a wonderful night. For what they've given the fans this season and for reminding us what following Rangers is all about, they deserve the thanks of all of us.5 points

What a result, what a season, what a team! We've done it everyone! Unbeaten, unbowed and unbelievable at times!5 points

My favourite stat is Celtic have conceded more league goals at Ibrox than Rangers this season. In this season of all seasons. Absolutely glorious stuff.4 points

A BIG well done to Bearger. Thanks to Rosseau for the organisation and constant administration. Having secured fifth, have I qualified for Europe?4 points

One more extremely pleasing aspect of presentation it was John Greig with no assholes from SFA/Spfl in sight.4 points

Magic. Was certainly my vote. Some of his saves have been out of this world. He has put in 10/10 performances. I was a massive Klos fan but in the last 18 months McGregor has easily surpassed Der Goalie. There was an argument during his first spell if he was as good. But this season he has been that good it has been mooted if he is Gers best ever keeper - going beyond 'The Goalie'. I loved Goram massively but characters aside and purely as a keeper I have to think McGregor now will go down as 'The' No.1. - this would be an interesting forum discussion alone. Kent, Barisic, Goldson, Tavernier and Davis have all been fantastic and there is an argument for everyone of them as best outfield player. When Kent hits form and produces 10/10 games nobody in the league can touch him. Barisic is a constant 8/10 every game and his deliveries have been brilliant - he is a class act. Goldson - A rock and a leader even without the captains armband and played every minute - he will go down as part of the defence that broke records. Tavernier - first half of the season especially was on fire and his goalscoring record even with pens is ridiculous for a full back. Integral this season. I was actually think someone like Arsenal could come in for him he was playing that well. Will go down as the captain that stopped their 10. Davis - what can you say - except an example to all players. Not only that outfield 5 though - the full squad deserve their recognition this season.3 points

Agreed, and there is no evidence of any spike in cases of Covid after ANY demonstration since beginning of lockdown in Scotland / UK.2 points

See big Greig on the pitch? If I were a wee winger I still wouldn’t fancy trying to get past him.2 points

I've been looking at the League Table: a thing of beauty, like nothing I have seen since......well, let's not go into that today. Anyway, here's a thing: Today's opponents, the Sheep, finished in 4th place, a staggering 46 points behind the Champions; this is actually 1 point more than 5th placed St Johnstone totalled for their entire campaign. Furthermore, thanks to our lads' efforts today, the Sheep finished with a goal difference of -2; in 4th place.... But, here is the, em, kicker (and it's a brammer): For every goal our lads conceded, they scored 7. F: 92 A: 13 which is kind of impressive for a professional League.2 points

Reminds of the time landing in Valencia airport on a BA flight and everyone on plane doing the bouncy. Pilot came on and said something like "welcome to Valencia, been a pleasure getting you here and hopefully Rangers get a decent result. HOWEVER, never, ever to that bouncy thing when I'm trying to land a fookin plane" ?2 points

Angela Haggerty's Tweet : "I'm getting really annoyed with folk equating yesterday's anti-immigration protest with Rangers fans' right to public celebration. If the protesters had been drunk, smashed up a few benches, let off fireworks, Police Scotland would have thrown them a party. So there's a big difference". If dearest Angela cares to look out her Tollcross window, she will see a large biscuit factory, 'McVities'. It's been there for 120 years, it employs 500 fellow East Enders. Current owners, Pladis announced they will close said factory next year with the resultant loss of jobs and standard of lives. I expect Angela to lead the protest against the closure, Palestinian flag in hand? If several hundred can fill the Pollokshields streets for two men in the gig economy exceeding their visas by in excess of a decade, then Tollcross should have several thousand stopping 500 being made redundant? So far, Angela has Tweeted nothing about McVities, just like her fellow Nationalists, she doesn't do bad news.2 points

As much as he's been brilliant, I am surprised at that. Well done big man thoough - a genuinely top class season of incredible consistency and moments of genuine brilliance. That save in Prague will live with me forever.2 points

The same people supporting the gatherings during the week will doubtless be going tonto about today's gathering. I support everyone's right to protest and celebrate. 10 years we've waited for this. 10 years of humiliations, misery and shite. Don't let anyone tell you how to celebrate - we all deserve today.2 points

No Willie Waddell? No Scot Symon? And, given the sentiment expressed, no Steven Gerrard? Good effort; but must try harder.2 points

Well said. My mum made Penguins in Hillington and an uncle worked for UB. I didn't agree with you seeming to trivialise the Palestinian situation but double standards seems to be the stock-in-trade of the SNP.1 point
