Who thought if would be a good idea to have no proper football for ten days and then two games in four days. Far too many blank weekends due to dreary international and cup competitions.3 points

Simonsen Argyriou - Senderos - Cribari - Faure Peralta - Barton - Black - Templeton Sandaza - Kyle The banter years, for me, were McCoist; it was that brutal 4-4-2. Warburton made progress. Caixinha was another level of sh*te, but not quite banter years, so I've omitted his signings.2 points

Cracking result for Chelsea. I particularly enjoyed it as I can't stand that ersatz and franchised side. A repeat in the CL Final would be excellent, and highly amusing.2 points

In light of the forthcoming Pod discussion -- and the lack of football this weekend -- let's have some fun! A 'Banter Years' XI. An XI that represents the lows of the past decade; a starting line-up of players who made an impression for all the wrong reasons. It doesn't have to be the worst players per se, just those who encapsulate the 'Banter Years'. Go!1 point

Will reply tomorrow mate. But yeah agreed. What do I know Wolves hit a double. Nuno is actually the manager Spurs need.1 point

As you have pointed out, "Who thought if would be a good idea to have no proper football for ten days and then two games in four days. Far too many blank weekends due to dreary international and cup competitions." So what else is there to gossip about? Apart from which, Rangers' transfer rumours drive the fhilth support crazy.1 point

The move to bring Tuchel in place of Lampard - masterstroke. Chelsea are actually looking frightening. Playing like this then I think they will win the league next season - at a canter.1 point

Will reply to the latest posts shortly. I just woke up from a scary vodka pitch. Watching Wolves v Brig-hit-on at the moment. Potter is very impressive but he cant surely be a Spurs manager. I love you all gersnetters. Vodka loyal.1 point

It's quite bizarre how human rights abuses on the Arabian peninsula are often totally overlooked and yet Brits are asked to apologise for things that happened over 200 years ago (and only a tiny, elite group of Brits were involved). Having read that, my interest in City has dimmed away completely.1 point

I used to really like Man City and went down to see them a few times. Cracking club and fans but the whole thing has been diluted considerably since the UAE takeover and I've gradually lost interest. I don't see much difference between what's gone on at City and clubs like Man Utd and Chelsea though - just foreign playthings/vanity projects. Pep Guardiola is a good manager but an annoying twat. I hope they beat Chelsea in the CL final - mainly because I've never liked the London clubs and it'll annoy Man Utd fans.1 point
