  1. Enough of this chancer. Slavia are party to the lies so are as racist as the lad who abused Kamara. To try and conflate an accidental injury with calling an opposition player a monkey is laughable. Now go away please.

  3. The biggest thing we could do to improve the standard of football is to have a much stronger refereeing policy to enforce the rules as they do elsewhere. Not saying we should remove the physical element entirely, but we produce many young kids who are technically not far away from european peers right up until they hit 16-19, then we fall away rapidly as they transition to hammer thrower long ball football that we have up here. Sort that out, protect the technical players and I reckon we could see a step change in the quality of our game in the next 5-10 years.

  4. Off the top of my head, Serbia is probably quite similar, with two teams from the largest city constantly dominating all the silverware. Generally, European football is getting worse for certain clubs dominating, mainly because of the Champions League - the French, German and Italian leagues have been won by the same teams for several years (although Internazionale might alter this soon). I'd go for a sixteen team league in Scotland, playing home and away but know it will never happen.

  5. Good to see this, but I do wonder if we need to sign long term replacement for him next season given the number of games we play and the recurring issues he's had?

  6. For both incidents, and without hesitation or deviation. Agreed; he tends to be straight, but is just staggeringly inept at times.

  11. Haha. Where is Juff? To think it was around 10 years ago I paid for his season ticket as part of the journey. How do bud. I can only imagine the biggest absense at Ibrox is Blonde Chicks not getting next to you hahaha.

  12. Of course, he should have had two yellows for simulation. But before completely excoriating Collum, ask yourself this : What would Clancy have done? Odsonne will be odds on to dive in his next match.

  14. It seems that rahoops will not appeal Eddie Plongeur's yellow card for "simulation", despite the incident being, according to Manager, and Captain, a 'stonewall' penalty, which even a blind man fleeing backwards in fear of his very life would have seen. Strange that. Either the cost of the appeal -about a £grand, or thereby, a f a I k, - will leave the club short of cash in its amaretti tin (a recent upgrade), or it does not wish the player to be confirmed as the dirty diving bastard he is, by the authorities.

  15. If you don't mind me passing an opinion, why don't you go back to Kerrydale meltdown, I'm sure you would find opinions more in line with your own?

  16. Slavia, I am sure you have read Alexander Bah's account of last Thursday evening's events at Ibrox? I confess, I am Squadron Leader Perky Perkins and I led the Skoda Swarmers on to the pitch and into the tunnel. It was a fast penetrative raid to raise the tone of the game. We attempted to inflict numerous casualties upon the collective dignity of Slavia Prague, but the pedals on two Skodas broke, another ran out of panache and, the SatNav on mine went wonky. before you accuse me, I am certain Alexander Bah started it.

  17. A great player. He was supposed to be signing for Liverpool in 1972 but it fell through on medical grounds. The rumours in Liverpool at the time were that he had VD and that there was no way that Bill Shankly was going to allow someone like that in the team. Probably bollocks but it even in the unlikely event it was true it doesn't detract from what a great player and colourful character he was.
