David Martindale has began his BBC Radio Scotland full time interview with Jane Lewis saying, "A sore one to take, but we got lucky in the first half. I've seen the incident back and it was a penalty". Both Liam McLeod and Michael Stewart should listen.6 points

What a result that is! Yes, we didn't play well but we were by far the better team and only poor finishing/decision-making/refereeing stopped us winning more comfortably. Livi offered next to nothing but well done to the defence who stood firm to the long ball/throw. Delighted for Alfie to be the match-winner: a tap in but the quality of the build up can't be denied with Kamara and Davis being the surprising assists. Four points left. Just four to go!4 points

See when the scum win 1-0... it's worse than them winning comfortably. Everything has to be taken into consideration when assessing football. Their suffering brings me great joy.3 points

Nearly there.....going to be very emotional for all of us when it happens. We’ve been to hell and back. Now we’re almost champions again ?3 points

Agreed, he must call that cheat out this time. It’s gone on too long.3 points

Schalke is tumbling towards the same status for a few years now, only that this time around they may not avoid the drop. Which status? That of a club that has a large support and is seemingly well run from the base to just below the first team, management and business part. Especially Hamburg is in that stasis bubble of a sleeping giant that they can`t get out of (and methinks they are fan-/membership owned). You wonder whether our club thinks about that "partnership" a bit more and sends some of our u20s players out on loan for half a year, since I would assume that even training and playing with HSV and their u23s will give them more than plying their trade with Queen of the South et al. AS LONG as they also get game time, of course.3 points

Ten years they've laughed at us and mocked us. Understandable, given we're the most successful club in football. However, some of the actions, comments and behaviour of many we might expect better of have demonstrated how much we are hated and how much standards in Scotland have fallen (denigrating opponents is more fulfilling than being successful, apparently). In the space of twelve months, we have gone from crisis to a team on the verge of winning a title we thought we might never hold again (and having a terrific run in Europe). The players, management and custodians of Rangers FC all deserve much credit but the fans have really shown how loyal and true we are during the toughest period in the club's history. I can't wait to actually win the title but I can feel it already and it feels great. Cheers.2 points

Just said on a chat that when we win 55 I'm gonna be insufferable (Yeah I know, I already am ?♂️??), gloating arsehole. 10 years of taking abuse from fans of all clubs, the but of jokes, ridiculed and let's face it, most wanted us dead. Well we aren't dead, far from it. It may have taken longer than we all wanted but to coin a phrase, our time is coming. As well as my planned celebratery tour of Scottish SPFL grounds (Yeah I still plan to do this once restrictions are lifted), i'll gloat from now until this time next season and hopefully beyond, lets face it, we've got a lot of pay-backs due.2 points

Can’t agree guys, I love nothing more than an at least 5 goal victory with great football on show. These turgid 1-0 affairs only give me some relief when the FT whistle goes, and you can’t really enjoy them until that point.2 points

I can't decide if I like winning more when we get dodgy decisions or when we don't get decisions. Either way, I like winning.2 points

Interesting that Andy Walker said during commentary that you can appeal yellow cards for "simulation". Expect us to be on phone to SFA headquarters 1st thing tomorrow to appeal Alfies yellow and the gaffers 2 yellow which came as a consequence of Beatons "error". Look forward to getting Beaton as ref for all of our remaining fixtures ?2 points

Which is nothing. A Livi player (or coach) went mental in the opening minutes when they didn't get a throw in.2 points

We need to up the tempo And it’s difficult to play out normal game on this dreadful surface2 points

I usually don't give a flying f**k about that shower and barely give them a thought but after the last 9 years, I take immense joy in their turmoil. With that in mind... Brown and his elbows, Tierney and his shitty megaphone, Lustig and yer police hat, Griffiths and his terrible hairpiece, Lennon and his wotsit teeth...GIRFUY!1 point

I still prioritise my own blood pressure to be calm before a combusting bheasts, but I take your point!1 point

Got the three points despite an imbecile of a referee and assistant and against a team of thugs who have no right to be in the premier league along with their pitch.1 point

My nerves are shredded. I am so glad it is 4 points to go. The champagne is on ice. Well done to the team tonight. We showed great resilience and have the mark of champions.1 point

SG on absolutely top form in the post match, slaughters Beaton , the linesman, the 4th official all in one go. Simply sensational. Says he will sleep fine and sing Sweet Caroline on the bus home ???????1 point

I actually thought Helander had his jersey pulled as well when he headed over! possibly making a 3rd penalty denied from cheating Beaton1 point

Agreed. What a player he is. Special mention for Kamara who I also thought was very good behind him. Davis was a surprising TV choice but he definitely got better as the game went on.1 point

I doubt Livi sit in like this against many other sides. They are very well organised and work really hard - there's no denying it.1 point
-
Yes the pitch is garbage but Livy play 19 league games at home a season and there are not many 0-0 games. We just don’t play well against this opponent for some reason.1 point
-
We look better when Kamara gets forward more. Second half started off better but now it's more of the same. Just a bit slow and clumsy. This pitch is a joke.1 point
-
A poor first half hour but we upped the pace a bit after that and looked a wee bit better, but still not good enough to be honest. The pitch is dreadful but we need to use the ball better and avoid long balls where the bounce is anyone's guess. In saying that it was from a more direct pass we should have a penalty but Beaton chose to book our striker then send Gerrard off after the half-time whistle when it seemed we should also have had a late free kick on the edge of the Livi box. Hopefully these decisions motivate what was a lethargic performance into a more energetic, controlled display that is much more familiar. Worth noting Livi do pose a threat themselves though.1 point
