Big game tomorrow. Hibs are on a decent run of form and so are we, so I'm expecting a more competitive match than we're used to (domestically), with both teams trying to score. I think Roofe will be the main man again. The likes of Arfield, Aribo and Hagi will hopefully be starting and raring to go. 'Mon The Rangers! ??4 points

Evening all, just wanted to take a minute to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy year, most of all good health! These days people don't spend much time or thought on some personal words to their friends and family, they just copy and paste some random shit and send it on. So, after all we've been though together this year I want to thank you for your friendship and wish you a happy 2018! You are the best gymnastics group anyone could ask for. Best wishes, Helen3 points

A Christmas Mystery - FARE'S Fair? I need to take you back almost a fortnight, to Sunday the 13th of December. We have just defeated Dundee United 1-2 at Tannadice and the Alfie witch hunt is in full flow. Later in the afternoon, Rangers Ladies traveled to Broadwood to face Glasgow United. A comprehensive 0-5 skelping ensued on the drastic plastic. Live coverage was provided by BBC Alba; it was, "all the action from the first whistle to the last, every kick of the ball". Commentary was Gaelic, provided by Barra born and bred, Alex O'Henley. There was an interview with Rangers and Scottish international, Nicola Docherty aired at half-time. The several minute discussion had been recorded earlier in the week at Auchenhowie. Post game, player of the match, Rangers and Northern Ireland international, Megan Bell was interviewed in the tunnel. No doubts, supporters of Rangers Ladies paying their BBC License Fee, receive at least the same package as other supporters. Alex O'Henley is no stranger to Gersnetters. We know he is a Sellik man, faithful fro'n'fro'. He began as a Cub Reporter on the West Highland Free Press, specialising on football. It helped that the owner of the Blat was current Sellik Board member, Brian Wilson. The former MP for Cunninghame North also fulfilled a couple of Junior Cabinet offices in the three Tony Blair Governments. At one point, four Sellik season ticket holders, John Reid, Des Browne, Jim Murphy, and Wilson were in the Cabinet; very much the Establishment Club. It's thirty years ago, but Wilson was the official Centenary Biographer of ra Sellik. His tome, 'A Century with Honour' sold poorly, there are a couple of double garages holding tens of thousands of unsold books. Thus, with such influence, it came as no surprise that Alex O'Henley was FARE's nominated observer at Rangers last sixteen Champions League second match in Spain, against Villarreal. It took a particular type of hate to pen that peculiar FARE report on a fellow Scots club, it has allowed the usual suspects 15 years of feasting. Still, O'Henley is prepared to visit Auchenhowie on official BBC Scotland(Alba) business and talk to Rangers players exiting the field of play. Rob McLean does similar whilst on BT Sport duty. Creepy Connie McLaughlin was working inside Ibrox last month on BT Europa Cup business. So, six years down the line, why can't the usual suspects inside the PQ Gang Hut provide the full service to all Rangers supporters paying their License Fees? Truly, a Christmas mystery.2 points

Thanks to you and Ian for posting this. I’ve been quite pensive this evening about how strange this Christmas time has been, but after seeing this and watching the lads having a giggle, it has helped me drag myself out of my ambivalent stupor. Merry Christmas Gersnet brothers and sisters - I hope you all have a great day!2 points

I'm going to busy over the next few days so I thought I would just drop this here tonight. It goes without saying that 2020 has been a remarkable/surreal/unprecedented year so I would like to take this opportunity to wish all Getsnetters a safe, peaceful and merry Christmas. Here's to better 2021!1 point

As the proud recipient of a Green Beret, I can only sympathise with you that you had to settle for ra' purple tyin. Best tracer display I can tremember seeing was 1 in 1 being used from two GPMGs, both on sustained fire mode. Going forward, the Middleton tracer like trajetory will be frowned upon because of the Scud Impact Weight Effect on the foreheid.1 point

The big improvements are in defence, where Goldson and Tav have improved their game hugely and cut out the silly mistakes that far too often cost us goals last season. They have gone from that to wonderfully consistent defenders who are both right up there with our biggest goal threats also. Another big improvement is in the depth and quality of the squad. No longer is it the case that when we make subs we weaken the side, in fact in many cases we add quality when using our subs. Use of subs has improved domestically, although the manager got it badly wrong in both Benfica games to deny us a clean sweep of victories in our group, but overall there has been big improvements in the use of subs this season. Negatives, there are not many, although our total capitulation in Paisley that cost us a first major trophy in 10 years still hurts me deeply, and allows the thought to still be there that we are still capable of bottling it when under the biggest pressure. It is clear that this will be proven or (hopefully) blown away over the course of the next few games and the Scottish Cup to come. Negatives, we really need to sell in January to balance our books, and we have to hope that this doesn't badly affect our harmony and squad. I cannot think of any player that we couldn't do without given the quality and depth of our squad, perhaps apart from Tav as Patterson is still young and wont be as influential as Tav has become. I dont see Tav being sold for £20M so i dont see that as an issue. If anyone is to be sold, (Morelos, Kamara, Kent, etc) I believe we have ready replacements that will keep us just as strong. Obviously it would be better that we keep everyone but our squad is too big, too expensive, and the wage bill too high for our income and must be brought under control.1 point

McLean would be my corners man if football had gone down the American Football route. The grenade is another good comparison. I’ve never fired or received tracer but from newsreel pictures, it seems you don’t see the first third of the trajectory and the last third comes in a helluva lot faster than the middle. Perhaps one of the Gallant Members of the board can confirm. I’m still not certain who put in corners like that. It was from the left. Huistra? Maybe not even a winger. I’ll settle for Johnston.
