I don't want to get ahead of myself as Glenn Kamara still has plenty of room for improvement. He is probably the best finisher in the history of world football.4 points

I'm going to busy over the next few days so I thought I would just drop this here tonight. It goes without saying that 2020 has been a remarkable/surreal/unprecedented year so I would like to take this opportunity to wish all Getsnetters a safe, peaceful and merry Christmas. Here's to better 2021!3 points

It's nice that we're debating who should be starting and there are valid arguments for most players.3 points

Kent occupies 2 of their players at all times that in it's self is hugely valuable.3 points

I think you are being hard on Kent tbh. Not everything Kent does comes off but he does other things that are important to the team like tracking back and closing down, creating space for other players etc. One thing I like about Kent is that he always tries to get involved and never hides3 points

Seasonal Greetings! Stay save and onwards to 55! As per usual, I'll entertain you with a bit of East German Christmas folklore, this one is 70 years old and one of the finest pieces ou there ... (Translation on demand ? )2 points

Agree. Just glad Aribo is looking back to his sharpness. He is our game changer IMO2 points

Evening all, just wanted to take a minute to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy year, most of all good health! These days people don't spend much time or thought on some personal words to their friends and family, they just copy and paste some random shit and send it on. So, after all we've been though together this year I want to thank you for your friendship and wish you a happy 2018! You are the best gymnastics group anyone could ask for. Best wishes, Helen1 point

Another very difficult choice, which just goes to show how well we have played so far this season, Davis heads it on to Aribo who then passes to Kamara who slipped the ball passed their keeper, classy!. I'm going for Roofe who was giving their defense the runaround all night and is scoring regularly now, scored a great poachers goal and his shot was rebounded to Hagi who hit a powerful shot for his goal. However the players mentioned in all the posts I agree with.1 point

A few contenders in a fine away win / performance but plumped for Hagi who had a good game plus 1 goal and 1 assist.1 point

The above is a find. I would say season 73/74? The top left character sporing the big sideburns and high hairline is Ally Scott. The memory is too much, I am taking to my scratcher.1 point

I think Malky McCormack's greatest and most under utilised character was, 'Badyin McFadyin' - a corporation bus driver with the mindset of Evel Knievel.1 point

Hagi and Aribo proved last night that they are crucial if we are struggling to Tav/Borna in behind. Along with an effective front man (Roofe) they can create through the middle with their passing and quick feet1 point

Amazing find. I worked as an graphic designer/illustrator for over 25 years and can trace the origins of my interest in art back to 2 things. The animations of Walt Disney Studios and the caricatures of Malky McCormack1 point

Kent certainly works hard and covers a lot of ground. He just never seems to do much with the ball, which is a huge part of being a forward. I'm hoping he turns it on against that lot, which is a nice habit of his. As for O'Halloran - I thought his wee cameo was hilarious. Sums up how most scum fans are feeling about our current form, I'd imagine. ?1 point

Prisoners get it easy compared to back in the day, all things go, basic training in the Marines. You go back further than I but Wee Tam was the considered artist of finding a head wearing a Blue jersey. The goalscorers always got the headlines but McLean deserved them just as much. He preferred more of a floated aerial ball, akin to the delivery of a hand grenade from an extremely strong arm....not to mention his ability to pick a pass.1 point

Pretty much a textbook away win that does more than the Motherwell game to say we've got by a blip of sorts. Crucially, as far as the League goes, a performance blip rather than of results. That's 11 wins on the bounce now and half the fixtures played. Textbook is an opening goal on around 20 minutes, followed up by another before HT and then a third, early in the second half. A third of all league goals we have scored come in the period from 15 - 30 minutes. The next most productive spell is 20%, from 45 - 60. That tends to help SG&Co in offloading for players like Roofe, Kent and Davis. An important part in keeping everything on the rails. Good to see Aribo and Hagi contribute so much because we need more middle to front players on their game. Talking of which, Roofe is surely the man who is now first choice as central striker. He can link-up play and is scoring goals where Morelos on last nights half an hour, can link play but cannae score for toffee. Hibs will be an interesting challenge but we will approach the game with confidence. Hopefully Ryan Jack will be able to get some minutes. What a useless, unprofessional pr!ck #O'Halloran1 point

I think that is one of the big differences to last year. There is competition for nearly every spot in the team.1 point

Morelos played well when he came on. Yes he should have scored but, one bad pass aside, he looked sharp and remains an excellent choice. Thank goodness others are stepping up as well.1 point

BTW, several excellent performances: Goldson was superb, Barisic had his best game for a while IMO and Aribo, Hagi and Roofe all important in an attacking sense. MotM for me though was Kamara who, after a dreadful giveaway early on, really run the show.1 point

Brilliant cameo from MOH tonight as well ? another one for the conspiracy nuts out there ?1 point
