I dont really care about the score at this stage, as it is all about getting gametime into the legs and improving on match sharpness. I care even less as it was a B team as any players worthy of consideration fora first team slot will surely be in the squad for tonights Motherwell match. What I am really annoyed about is that we have arranged a bounce game with a club that despises our very existence, that shat on our fans and then lied (ok, I will say allegedly purely for legal purposes) in court about it, and were one of those shouting loudest to get us kicked out in 2012. We should never forgive and never forget clubs like this. Would we play a friendly against the sheep, or the bheasts? No, and this utter scum of a club are in the same category, and should be avoided at all costs. Whoever is responsible for arranging bounce games should either be taught more about our history or be more mindful of the concerns/interests of the support.2 points

I can't agree with that. It requires a particularly bloody-minded way of thinking to continue to take offence at a gesture, even after ithe person making that gesture has made it explicitly clear that he didn't mean it in the way that offends you. Goldson has supplied context - he's explained that he wasn't attempting to make a political statement at all. This isn't a case of interpreting what his gesture meant, so much as it is one of people willfully misinterpreting it. It's a mode of thought I'd more readily associate with the "woke" brigade; analogous to: "Even though you didn't intend your statement to sound racist, I've contrived to get upset by it, therefore you're a racist." Goldson has explained what he meant, and it's not in any way controversial. You're upset by something else that you've decided that he meant, and that he says he didn't mean. I don't expect everyone to stand and cheer him, but there really is no reason for him to be getting a hard time.2 points

The aggregate score in the six games Neymar's played against Celtic in competitive matches stands at 28-2. ?2 points

The 3rd goal of the night was the best by far. I thought Aribo was outstanding tonight.1 point

Hamstring is notorious but when the physio was massaging it he had full range of motion when bending the leg - so hopefully just a week or so. We don't have enough options up front to lose anyone to a longer term injury1 point

Looked like a hamstring injury, hope it's not serious?1 point

2 cracking goals tbf! greata volley from Kent, Great cross and header for Hagi, then that superb goal from Aribo1 point

That last goal was probably the way SG wants us to play and score goals ... only that when it is about points, defenders will jump in more and it gets more nasty. So while this is good to see, we ned people like Hagi (and probably Murphy) trying a shot from the edge of the area ... or when sight of the target.1 point
-
So much potential, Kent and Hagi are in the same boat for me, these 3 players have another gear to go up to reach their true ability1 point

Apparently, Neil Doncaster insisted upon verifying received diktat from Putin being verified by Peter, who gave the go ahead reference 'Well's Covid results being e-mailed to Dundee's account. Retrieval from Dundonian spam is being conducted by 'well's Declan Gallagher, who refused an IQ test. Today's Scottish football.1 point

That team contained a lot of players that should be contributing to the first team, or at least knocking on the door. That result's quite disappointing; not good enough.1 point

Lol. I won’t jump all over the Kyle Hutton reference dB. does Kennedy deserve a five figure per week fee ? Because that’s what I’ve heard he is looking for. completely untested, unproven but looking for 10k a week ? Not for me I’m afraid. The ego statement wasn’t about them being overly confident or arrogant... one of the youths showed complete disrespect for a senior player who was helping them out.... said youth didn’t even realise that he was being disrespectful.... but common sense and a modicum of manners should have told him otherwise.1 point

The thing about public gestures is that other people have an equal right to contextualise such gestures according to their own understanding and interpretation. You can’t make a public political statement and be surprised that others interpret such gestures within their own political framework. If you can’t handle the pushback then don’t play the game. We have as much right to criticise the naivety or otherwise of a gesture as some one has to denounce that criticism. A black power gesture to a Jewish person is a very different thing to a black power gesture to a white man.1 point

Neymar also managed to upset Mr Lennon during this evening's game. Neymar appears to have a healthy dislike of the Poops, always knew there was a reason I liked him.1 point

French lessons continue, but none, so far, perhaps, of the type that the Lurgan lard barrel anticipated. Still, to be fair, "Paris vaut bien une massacre", as Henry of Navarre would have advised, if he had been there at full time.1 point

I became a fascist and a racist when I objected to BLM attempts to re-write or cancel history and shout down free speech. The mainstream media tried to re-educate me that looting is a BLM entitlement and violence a black privilege but i was too far gone to be rehabilitated.1 point
-
Apparently I'm a facist and a racist for not supporting BLM. I cannot support the looting rioting and murder which accompanies this organisation. Seems there are 2 types of blm. I find it difficult to distinguish between them.1 point

Missing it badly, any football, professional, Academy, boys club. A look at the game I was at 10 years ago today and what happened to those players. https://rfcyouths.wordpress.com/2020/07/21/i-need-football-back/1 point

I think it is Glasgow Rangers as there are 'Rangers' team all over the world. Though I don't count fellow Americans in the mix, as they are absolutely clueless about anything 'Soccer' for the most part, here in the US we have the New York Rangers (Hockey), and Texas Rangers (Baseball). Even here in Little Rock our soccer team are the Little Rock Rangers. Over there you guys have Brora Rangers, Queen's Park...and many more. However, I always say my team are Rangers...and when they say "The Texas Rangers?" I say "NO...THEE Rangers" Cause there is only one.1 point
